Bought a couple of clearance items recently at bargain prices, in this instance for spares and repairs. These were items that, although from the same manufacturer, were not designed to work together, although they might easily have been assumed to be compatible.

Gary took the trouble to point this out BEFORE shipping the goods to me, and they arrived in very satisfactory condition NEXT DAY!

Prior to that, I have bought other full spec items from outdoorhobbies.com at the most competitive prices I have been able to find. Care and attention, good prices & quick delivery has been my consistent experience of dealing with this firm. Recommend.

I wanted two supersonic rev tactical crossbows with 6 shot magazine and butt's For me and the wife. On your website it said one in stock which I ordered and one in stock without the butt which I also ordered and then ordered a separate butt which was also in stock.

My order tuck nearly 2 months to come because none of it was in stock which other reviews have also mentioned in the past.

Communication was there but never seemed to give you a straight answer or avoided your question in hope to delay time.

Sadly on delivery day things only got worse because the butt ordered separately turns out not to be compatible with the bow when a magazine is added making trigger very very short. A trigger does come with the butt but again not compatable when magazine is on. But if I had of known none of it was in stock to start with i would of just ordered two complete bows already set up.

All this put to one side our excitement over new bows and wanting to try them out was still there but very short lived has one of the strings snapped on the very first shot. Now lucky I did order a spare string set at £45 but you need additional tools to fit them.

I've had the bows for a month or two now and they sit in the same place I put them the day they where delivered with no heart to even try them again or invest any more money to get the up and running.

I have no interest in talking to the owners or sorting anything out has I will find a diffrent outlet that will sort it for me but I still feel I spent £1154.92 with you and my disappointment stands has a warning to others wishing to buy.

I purchased my Cross Bow from Gary at out Outdoorhobbies a while back. Unfortunately not much time to use It, So I decided to sell It. Bought a crossbow from here many years ago and recently decided to sell it, and saw that they do a second hand listing service. Since I bought it from them they let me list it for free, and it sold within a month. Highly recommended if you have one to sell. This is the place to go for any of your crossbow needs!

Bought an Excalibur rev X and arrows from Gary and very pleased. I recommend Outdoorhobbies for crossbows.

I saw a lot of negative reviews for UK archery retailers, so gravitated immediately to outdoorhobbies.co.uk which had a 95% positive rating. Initially the domain name sounded too generalist- ie would they sell lawn darts and BBQ equipment?- but upon visiting their site I could see they specialized in archery products, had an OUTSTANDING selection to choose from and the prices were equally outstanding. And they appear to specialize in Crossbows, offering a range from budget to high-end from top brands like Excalibur. So I ordered a crossbow and it came as specified, within the promised delivery time. I made a further order and mis-specified an item, but Gary at outdoorhobbies.co.uk spotted my mistake and asked for clarification before shipping the order. So excellent prices, excellent service; I highly recommend this vendor. I've not been paid or received any compensation for this review which is based on the experience of two extensive orders.

The service I received from Outdoorhobbies to resolve my issue was excellent and nothing was too difficult with a 100% result.

The 4th crossbow I’ve purchased from this company a Barnet recruit and hex 405 also a cobra alligator pistol and now a kraken 405 is my most recent buy as a collector I’ve been updated and kept posted with every order never once had an issue and I’ve been a customer for 9 years have tried other company’s like archery shop uk what a diabolical service went straight back to outdoors hobbies sorted me right out and got my bow dispatched what a company full 5 star service .

Was speaking to Gary with my requirements for a very accurate crossbow,he suggested Excaliber. After looking at the different models I purchased an excaliber micro suppressed extreme.Awesome piece of kit insanely accurate. Would thoroughly recommend outdoor hobbies. Ordered a part for crossbow which they listed they had. Two days later the money was taken out of my account but no emails or acknowledgment from the company so decided to email them to which they replied they haven’t got the part unless I take the same thing but a completely different brand or wait till whenever they have it in stock. How can a company sell something they don’t own. They were basically holding on to my 230 pounds till they could source the part. Ignore Gary and his apology I had no acknowledgment till I complained. He basically takes your money using someone else’s catalogue
