Again NZ Couriers top my list of the WORST there is. Yes, I was out the first time they called but I looked carefully and could NOT find a card. Card turned up the next morning lying on the ground outside my front door. What is wrong with my dry, secure, safe letter-box??? Goods were delivered 4 days later but, if not for divine intervention, I would have known nothing about it!!!

Claimed my intercom was broken (it’s not) didn’t call the phone number provided, sent back to sender after one attempt of delivery where they did not leave a slip, called the company and I was told it was my fault for not putting delivery information stating the intercom is broken even though it’s not broken and there was a phone number on the package. Pathetic company, they expect you to be home all day waiting on them and don’t contact you. Has happened multiple times.

Not only are they some of the most dangerous drivers around, speeding, breaking speed limts and generally doing whatever they want when no police are around, but they also some of the laziest people to walk the Earth. To avoid a slight incline or having to deal with customers, especially those who paid for faster delivery and got standard (or worse), they'll happily leave your item in your letterbox if they can cram it in, even when you've specifically stated to have it signed. They'll even try to claim you weren't home and drive away leaving a card to call because they couldn't be bothered walking up some stairs. You cant sit in your van typing lies about people not being home and shove a card in a letterbox when we're watching you from the window! Some have no social skills whatsoever, to the point where I had one guy just stare at me when I greeted him, extended my arm for the item and for him to proceed to put the package in the letterbox anyway. What freaks do they hire? And don't even get me started on the reception at their Ngaio Gorge depot, some of the rudest people you'll ever meet in your life.
Overall they're absolutely disgusting in their "service" and the only thing keeping them going? Because anytime someone orders something online that needs to delivered, a courier company will have to step in at some point. Most courier companies are lousy, but these pack of incompetent clownshoes take the cake, and eat it to, they just need another competitor the same size and boom; they're gone.
Use anyone else if you can.

utter poo show! took 2 days to get to NZ from USA. Then took over a week to get from NZ Couriers depot to my house. The sooner Amazon launch drone couriers the sooner we can get rid of NZ Couriers and courier drivers that continue to deliver important parcels to the wrong addresses!

I am getting so fed up with these Courier companies. I ordered an item from Auckland to go to Hamilton. The tracking said that it had been picked up from Penrose on the 8th August. It's now the 14th and the tracking says it has been sent for delivery today. That means it was sitting in a Courier depot for 5 full days. It's pretty bad. When I called them to complain, the person on the phone was unapologetic and indifferent. I order stuff from China that gets here faster that this.

I sent a package from Wellington to Te Puke. 6hours later there is nothing showing using the tracking number. Bloody hopeless. I phoned up and was told if I was ringing from a mobile to ring the local number. I had used the 0800 number. I was told the local number is in the phone book. Geez who uses phone books this century.

Any parcel that a company uses to have delivered to me using NZ Couriers fails to meet any standard or even delayed timeframes. This has occurred for the past 3 years every time. I’d prefer it if I am paying for shipping to decide which courier company I use. I’d Iike to see this company go out of business. No ETAs are used on their tracking service and they do not scan the package so it’s always in Transit. Very often very well packaged deliveries are opened suspiciously and repackaged. I have to query the delivery every single time to get delivery. Average delivery timeframe from within Auckland is 3-4 weeks. Don’t bother.

Signed off my package from Sephora as “class 3” dangerous goods. The worse part is the person who inspected the packed ripped it open fully leaving everything to hangout of the box. Rather than opening properly they cut down the side of the box and ripped it open like a child. Even then a child wouldn’t be as careless. You’d think from the condition of the box it’s come from overseas, when it was only to be sent as overnight. Didn’t even try to do a half arsed job at taping the box shut. Lucky nothing had been misplaced. But it’s the moral of it…

Avoid any company that uses nzcouriers they are utterly useless had to ring 3 times and 4 emails because the driver didn't bother to ring the doorbell knock or leave a card the staff at the depos know the courier drivers are rubbish
Before you buy something online check to see if they use them and I would strongly avoid not worth the hassle

It clearly states on my parcel to leave it at the backdoor for safety reason. The driver just leave it in the mail box. NZ post always leave my parcel at the back door or front door. Such a lazy and inconsiderate driver. It's not the first time it happened! No wonder you guys have a lot of bad reviews! You better work a little hard to gain your public trust!

Absolute S**T fight of a company do not use them if you are serious about business make sure you use New Zealand Post.

This is a useless company. Refused to pay up for items they lost despite the fact that we called to and spoke with the driver. Picked up another package that was booked in online then said they couldnt deliver and charged an offload fee which we refused to pay so now they threaten to damage our credit ratings. Could give more detail on the issues but you can get the idea!

Would give no stars if I could. Absolutely useless company with poor communication skills. After my partner sending multple emails to find out where his parcel is there has been no response. The parcel was an important gift and its been almost a month since NZ couriers recieved the parcel with no updates.

I can’t express how bad this courier service is, seriously frustrated that it’s been over two weeks and the status of my packages have not change since NZ courier has received it, I’ve had a query lodged the fact that they don’t know where my packages are, and have advised me that they will further investigate and come back to me with an update and all I get is excuses of delays and disruptions.

Amazing service - NZ Couriers went out of their way to produce my courier package which was collected from Immigration AKL at 3.30pm - 10/5.
I was given an after-hour contact and the night supervisor at Highbrook managed to locate the package in transit in Penrose branch. I collected my passport at 3am Thursday morning 11/5 and was on a flight out to Melbourne at 6am same day. Absolutely pleased that i was able to make my flight and this would not have been possible without the intervention of the Customer service day team and night staff at Highbrook and Penrose base. Thank you team.

Had to book twice online & then ring the depot 3 times over the course of several weeks to get my parcel picked up. Each time I rang the depot I was promised that the package would be picked up that day.....the first 2 times this did not happen. Finally after the 3rd call the courier turned up to collect it. This experience is only the most recent in a string of frustrating dealings I have had with this company.

I am ordering some items regularly and have noticed that in case of any internal problem (such as, say lack of available drivers), the NZ Couriers, particularly, the Parnell branch tends to give the problem to the receivers (pick up your own parcel) and charging them extra for delivery, even though delivery was fully paid by the sender. Very rude customer service lady, the message from her is basically: "pick it up or pay or else". Another thing is providing incorrect information about the current status and lack of communication. 2 senders reached out to them and helped to solve the problem for now, but somehow I am not convinced that this was the last time this happened given the overall level of service.

Totally useless - never made an attempt to deliver - just put a 'you missed a delivery...' in the letterbox. No phone call, did not follow instructions on how to enter the property... just drove up - put the 'missed delivery' note in letterbox... and drove off. Easy money for no effort by the driver.

And the 'you missed a delivery' note has no date - so you have no idea how long the things has been in the box. But I do as I clear the box daily.

"Urgent" parcel not even picked up by courier since last week, in Akl city no less. We don't even talk rural areas. Everytime you call you're told "oh it is going to be picked up in the next 30min" and of course it's not -for the last several days. It's an absolute disgrace. I'd give it minus 5 stars if possible.

“parcel has not moved since being scanned into the depot. i am in the south waikato and had selected shipping that would be 1-2 working days, has been a week and no sign of it even moving into being in transit from east tamaki. rang the people who i bought from - they said they couldnt do anything. rang these people who claimed to be putting in a query but nothing has happened with that either. very slow service, if the parcel ever even moves.“ - my review on google maps

I eventually received the parcel, but not before forcing the company i bought from to get involved as this courier had delayed/lost more than just mine from the seller. It was about 2-3 weeks late.
