I ordered a stainless steel splashback
I ordered a stainless steel splashback. It was cut to size perfectly and delivered on time. However, the packaging left a lot to be desired and the courier said that it was the worst he'd ever had to deal with. While the long edges had reinforced cardboard right angle lengths along them, the ends had nothing but cheap packing tape which the sharpness of the edges had broken through. Both corners on a short end were bent and it's just fortunate that my partner used to be a metal fabricator so he was able to dress it flat again but not everyone has that advantage. I used to package stainless flue pipe, it dents and bends easily and needs a lot more protection than you'd think. The packing person needs to pay more attention to the edges and corners.

We understand your concerns, particularly regarding the exposed ends and bent corners. Stainless steel can be vulnerable to damage in transit, and we appreciate your constructive comments. We’ll pass this feedback on to our packing team and review how we protect the edges and corners to help prevent this happening again.
