Build and Plumb Arvostelua 

Kartell toilet was severely damaged but Build and Plumb will not take responsibility or even offer a discount because it was not reported within 24 hours. Our builder had no need to open it until he was ready to install, no reason to expect a new toilet from the manufacturer wouldn't be fine. It was left under our stairs after delivery until he was ready to install during a routine bathroom installation. Toilet was broken underneath and packed ON TOP of the seat, when it was opened we discovered the cracked and destroyed seat. Build and Plumb won't even replace the seat. Absoloutely indifferent customer serivce. AVOID

I bought some jointing compound for my drive. It was a good price and it arrived quickly. There was a problem with one of the packets (not this company's fault) and they resolved it quickly, with no problems. What more can you ask?

I returned all 3 items from my order — fully packaged, handed to their courier, photo proof provided. Total order value: £502.20.

They only refunded £224.00 and claim "only 2 items received" — this is false. I have clear photos showing all 3 together ready for collection. Their courier or warehouse made a scanning error, but they refuse to check and refuse to pay the missing £278.20.

Sent multiple emails — delayed, ignored, no resolution. It has been well over 48 hours since my final notice and still nothing.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, full refund is due when goods are received. They are withholding money that is legally mine. Now proceeding with chargeback via Lloyds Bank and escalating to Trading Standards.

Do not trust this company with large orders. If anything goes wrong, they will find excuses to keep your money.

Ordered a pair of apache trousers and was sent a secondhand pair of a different brand trousers,i posted them back to be told basically i was lying and the trousers i returned had been used for months.total shit show this company do not use them and are cocky nobs to deal with

Build & Plumb supplied me with Sika FastFix having only around 3 months of its stated 12-month shelf life remaining. Sika themselves confirmed the product's 12-month shelf life.

I requested a refund for the unused product, but Build & Plumb have repeatedly failed to resolve the issue and have now simply stopped responding.

Selling short-dated stock without making this clear is disappointing enough. Ignoring a customer's attempts to resolve it is worse.

Extremely poor customer service.

I ordered some bathroom panels and the delivery date showed I would be away. Build and Plumb managed to make the delivery for before I went which was great.
The panels came to day and they look fabulous! So pleased with them and the service I received.

Don't waste your time with this company. They don't even know their own stock. My delivery was days overdue. You took longer to reply. To say your system is wrong and you dont have what I ordered.

You have cost me time and money. Pathetic company.

Update, it's now been 17 days since my order was supposedly dispatched and still no communication or goods. They clearly didn't have the stock at point of order.
Pathetic. Avoid these scammers.

Ordered on 14th July, supposedly dispatched on same day via 24hr Royal Mail. 17 days later still no delivery.
Messaged them and asked about it, they blame Royal Mail of course saying "we are experiencing delays of upto 10 days"
Funny how they don't mention that upfront. Disgusting.

Ordered fence posts, didn't receive a full order and 3 weeks on we are still chasing them after they have taken £2000 from us. Customer service is terrible

Needed a replacement bathroom worktop and these guys were spot on. Answered the phone quickly when I called to answer a couple of questions and I received the item 7am the next morning (paid extra for next day delivery). Would recommend, no issues for me

Purchased item for £154.00 returned it as it wasn't as described and they only refunded £20.00. A year later they still haven't refunded me. Avoid this company at all costs.

Don’t buy from company, customer service extremely rude

Item ordered 11th June 26. To be delivered by 17th June. As of 2nd July no delivery and have now been informed they don’t deliver to my area. No communication from Build and plumb and no refund of £273! PayPal purchase so I will get refunded eventually.

Bought a drain cover which failed within the first few days. It's been two months, numerous emails, messages and photo's sent as per their request and no refund or replacement. Avoid.

Absolute shambles. 4 days now ive been told that my delivery was on the lorry where i have waited in and still no delivery! Do not recommend. Terrible experiance.

They sent the wrong size item, in a total of one and a half hours of being on hold they answered once, promised to post correct item, never did. Never replied to numerous emails. Be warned.

Poor engagement and slow returns

Item was small and could be easily posted.

I returned the item and requested a replacement.

After over 3 weeks, eventually got email to say order updated.

The returns process is slow and some better updates would be good. Even just website updates on the order history.

Awful experience, customer service terrible, ignore emails and have to be constantly chased even when they agree to update you on the situation they don’t. The wait on telephone to get through can be up to an hour at times.
