website impossible to navigate
I think they probably sell a lot of things I would be interested to buy but sadly it is impossible to navigate their website ... you can spend about half an hour trying to click on an option .. in the end you just give up, don't have this problem with any other website except Simply Be which is the same company.
Appalling customer service
Appalling customer service. Used chat which is just a cut and paste answers exercise. Evri have lost my parcel, I have an email from them confirming. JD Williams insist on waiting until 5 days,working days or consecuting days depends who you speak too before looking into a "possible " refund. Evri have notified them but will not do anything until they deem enough time has passed. They will then escalate to look into it. Constant delaying tactics to ensure they keep your money as long as possible. What is there to look into,Evri confirm they have lost it!
Nightmare to deal with so I will be closing my account, not that they will be bothered as customers seem to be an inconvenience .0 Stars should be possible
Absolutely hopeless customer service…
Absolutely hopeless customer service from Robyn-Leigh Viegeland. I have a product bought as a wedding present that i required a copy of the instruction manual as i had misplaced is during a house move.
It was almost robot like customer support despite being a live agent...'give me your account number' - it was a gift and i only wanted the pdf of the instruction manual... any question i met they weren't able to give me an answer and then i was cut off while in the middle of writing a message.
I shall definitely not be ordering from this company in the future if this is the after sales and cannot send a simple product PDF without all these details required!
Theve been scammed and blame me
In 2024, they have been scammed by delivering something to an address I moved out of 5 years ago in 2021. The now set ACI debt collectors on me despite having no evidence so its clear they do not check that an identity is valid and are an untrutworthy company. Use at your peril.
This company are so terrible
This company are so terrible . The chat agents , the speaking agents and so called higher agents. Very rude disrespectful very big egos . They do not want to listen to the problem only shout at you , that you are wrong and listen ! Seems I upset someone , now vengeance is sending me txts, emails , changing my account statements . I wonder what sort of company they are . Small office big egos syndrome ! No social skills no manners - nothing ! I do not want any letters or txts from JD Williams ever again . I hope they go out of business very soon

Bad experience & Customer Service
I needed to return a large heavy item Keter Store it out Max .This was a one off purchase from this Company.Never again.After unboxing there was damage to one of the panels.Rang Customer Service told it would need to be re-packaged photo evidence sent and a Courier would pick up & bring return Label with them.It took two o.a.p. all afternoon a lot of effort plus a whole roll of tape to get this done.Arranged for morning pick up by midday no one had turned up for collection rang Customer Service again was told they would be there in the afternoon waited until late afternoon still no show rang Customer Service again told i need to rebook collection and also i needed a printer for returns label What!no i was not told that o.k. we can send you out a Label it can take up to 10 days to arrive than up to 14 days for a refund after they receive item back so maybe nearly a month for a refund for damaged goods.Another day wasted for no show Courier and time in phone calls & still no explanation of why i was given misleading information in the first place.It is safe to say i will never deal with this Company again.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service, antiquated system. Unable to deal with the issue. Their 3rd party courier Arrow XL is just as bad!
Never received order
This is the first time I’ve ordered from JD Williams, never received my order (was a click and collect) tracking showed it was still in transit when I went to report this was told to contact Evri which I did who eventually after 3 weeks said it has been lost in transit. I have never been refunded so I am currently going through my bank to try and get my money back
Scam company - useless at dealing with fraud
Scam company, unable to fix defraud of a family member's account, account set up in mother's details and they were unable to stop or block emails

Don't ever use this company , I paid next day delivery 3 days later ,no outfit outfit for a wedding tonight , I was left high and dry , had to close my business and head to shops EVRY appalling service and non delivery , no communication , promised oh we will get outfit up you tomorrow , recieved email won't be there , called , no answer , asked for manager through email , got email reply saying we see you've diverted parcel ! Ordered a shed for over £600+ delivery
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY Ordered a shed for over £600+ delivery. Says delivery by Friday now it says Tuesday. Customer services are not bothered said it's the websites fault not there fault. They also say it takes up to 6 days to get my money back. STICK WITH B AND Q in future. Even on the day they are supposed to deliver they are running over one hour late. So i came home from work for nothing wasting my time wage and petrol. Shed came all put up the doors are too big for the shed. Called customer services NOT INTERESTED at all DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY USELESS. Now I have a shed with no doors
