Ordered for parcel shop delivery. Tracking shows it is with evri.. Really difficult to figure out how to sort it out on the jd williams website. And rather than sort it out as the vendor. You have to chase it through Evri. This is the second time this has happened.

Not great the last 3 orders I received were not what I ordered, I was given the wrong sizes I was given someone else’s order inside my parcel, whoever works in the warehouse’s want training or sacked absolutely useless I have not ordered since and won’t be

Worst customer service I have ever come across, Evri claimed to have delivered my item but clearly the GPS stamp was no where near my property and put a picture of a random parcel that was not mine, contacted JD Williams and was treated like a thief even though they confirmed not my parcel or GPS location have called them 5 times and was promised a call back with a update from a supervisor.
Will not be using this company no more as clearly they don’t care about there customers and once the package has left them it is not there problem.

Very rude, they spoke over you when ring with a problem, unprofessional, takes you a long time getting throu, took my credit of me just because I hadn’t spent on my account, I got a email to say if I spent on my account before September, my account would not be closed, so I put a order in on 19th July 2026, for them to say it’s been cancelled, absolute joke of a company, as I said very very rude and unprofessional

Used these for months yet everytime you have to pay for returns,they have lost multiple returns,Staff are rude,unprofessional,they always lie saying "give it 5 days" but it never is. Calling them is a nightmare, never an option to speak so always left UNRESOLVED. Been waiting since January for refunds yet also they neever have a manager to speak to.Evri couriers have also been unprofessional and avoid at all cost.

I recently discovered that someone had fraudulently used my personal details to open a JD Williams credit account. The fraud itself was not JD Williams’ fault, and I appreciate that they took the matter seriously and ultimately resolved it.

I first reported the suspected fraud around 19 June 2026. On 29 June, I received confirmation that an investigation had been opened and was told that it would usually take up to 7 days. However, the investigation took longer than this, and I had to contact JD Williams several times myself for updates as communication was not always as proactive as I would have liked.

On 8 July, I received confirmation that the investigation had been completed. JD Williams confirmed that the account had been opened fraudulently, closed the account, arranged for it to be removed from my credit file, and stopped further marketing contact and account statements. They also provided useful advice about protecting myself from future fraud, including information about CIFAS Protective Registration.

Overall, I was happy with the final resolution and appreciate the help I received. The fraud was not JD Williams' fault, and they did ultimately take the necessary steps to resolve the situation. However, the process took longer than the initial estimated timeframe, and I feel communication could have been better as I had to make several calls myself to chase updates.

A positive final outcome, but the process could have been quicker and communication more proactive.

Do not buy from this company. They are useless. Still waiting on doors for a shed I paid £600 for. DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Received wrong item came with label removed clearly someone has swapped an expensive item for what can only be described as a pair of cut off tights. I immediately went to customer chat reported it arranged a return wanted item replaced but had to speak to an advisor. Gave up after 40 minutes waiting and now today they are e mailing me to find out what's happened and the item returned is not correct. Been a long term customer and this is the 1st issue. I feel like a criminal and being charged for an item I never received. My review on their website has also been removed. They clearly have issues in packing as this it was clearly not what was pictured on thr label.

SCAM AVOID this company ! Next day delivery is a SCAM. I paid for next day delivery, waited all day! Nothing turned up. Getting through to customer service, took 40 mins. Then they say the order will now move to 4-5 day delivery service. It’s a scam to get your order and money.

Debt notice received, but I have had nothing from them, and the debt is from 2023. Seems to be a fraud, I have no idea why they are demanding money from me. Looking at the reviews, I think they are in serious trouble. They make it very hard to make a complaint, and I am now worried someone has fraudulently used my details.

JD Williams continue to harrass me fro some debt they claim I owe Home Essentials. Whilst I was a customer to Home Essentials, I had paid the account up to date and cleared payments for items I purchased. Then I noticed a mark on my credit file. it turns out, that JD Williams has been reporting that my account is unpaid and I owe thousands of pounds, so I log into the account, and notice address on there that I have never lived at. I asked what address these items were delivered to, they cannot see that information. and I cannot see any orders on the online account as it only shows orders that have been placed within the last 6 months. Very weird. I have complained, and theyhave not got back to me. So I called them today 3 times and they hung up on me 3 times, mid call. I will try again 1 more time before escalating to my legal rep. I advise anyone else with a similar experience to do the same.

Cannot find any way to leave a review for a top bought from jd williams so doing it on here.Bought a top from this catalogue and I tried it on and decided to keep it,but when I wore it I have noticed that one 3/4 sleeve it shorter than the other and the elastic is slightly tighter than the longer sleeve.This is so annoying to wear.Sorry I didnt send it back now.So annoyed there is no way to leave a review.!!!Put me off buying any more clothes from them now.!!!!

I have had an account with JD Williams for years, and have always made payments on time and had plenty of available credit. Out of the blue, I received a letter from a debt collection agency saying my account has been sold them. I have tried phoning customer service several times, but each time the people on the other end have said they cannot hear me. I suspect the call centre is not in the UK. I will write to them, but judging by other reviews on here, this will be a waste of time.

Twice items were "lost" boht JDW and the courier passed the blame back. Rude customer service, refusing to confirm via email what was agreed. Added to the fact their clothes are often poorly made and overpriced, I'm out after 30 years of being a customer.

This is a massive scam. Opens account in your name for no reason then continually put the phone down on you. Painful but will have to gey legal on this. Horrible Horrible business.
