Awful - canceling orders..

Awful, took money, order receipt and number received. Chose not to shop elsewhere as I had the product they advertised 'secured'. Then cancelled it the next day.

Absolute worst shopping experience…

The absolute worst shopping experience ever, Jacamo. Ordered 3 items, their delivery carrier never delivered and clearly stated on the tracking service but somehow Jacamo had it marked as delivered. Took 5 email attempts (1 where they basically said it’s nothing to do with them and I need to get clarification from the delivery service first) and a phone call to finally get a non generic response and speak to an actual person. Then to finally have them admit that the package was never delivered, is now on its way back to them and once they receive it, I will be refunded. No explanation, no attempt to rectify. An absolute waste of time.

Jacamo - Insensitive, Unprofessional and Distressing Experiences Consistently

Jacamo’s customer service is shockingly poor, and their approach to communication is nothing short of distressing. Despite a flawless payment history, I have been subjected to unsolicited, pressuring messages demanding I pay more than the minimum due, completely disregarding the current cost of living crisis and the realities facing ordinary customers. When challenged, their complaints team dismissed my concerns outright, made inappropriate assumptions, and refused to respect basic requests for dignity and privacy.

The handling of my complaint revealed a company that is thoroughly insensitive, unprofessional, and unwilling to listen. Their responses were patronising and lacked any genuine concern for customer welfare. This is not responsible lending; it’s a textbook example of how a company should not treat its customers.

I would strongly advise anyone considering using Jacamo to think carefully about the lack of empathy, respect, and professionalism you are likely to encounter. There are far better options available for anyone seeking decent service and basic customer care.

A very upset, frustrated, disappointed former customer

On Wednesday 24/9/25 I placed an order for two items for next day delivery. As it was my husband’s birthday presents. As his birthday was on Saturday 27/9/25. On Thursday 25/9/25 at 12:31pm I got a notification from Evri to say they will be delivering my parcel between 7pm-9pm that evening. At 19:52pm I got another notification from Evri to say that they are unable to deliver my parcel, but no other explanation followed. I then called Jacamo customer services for the first time, explained everything, I asked them to please chase Evri for an update on my parcel. The Jacamo customer service assistant, falsely assured me that my parcel would be delivered on or by the end of the day on Friday 26/9/25. I waited, still no parcel. I then contacted Jacamo via the email address via the app, shared my notifications with them from Evri, I did not get a further update from Jacamo regarding my parcel. So off my own back I requested a call back from Evri customer services, I did not get a call back. But an email, requesting that I give them 48 working hours. So two working days for them to escalate a search of there warehouse to try to find my parcel. So I waited patiently on the Monday and Tuesday. I then received an email from Evri customer service team that had not located my parcel. So at 18:18pm on Wednesday 1/10/25, I called Jacamo customer services again for the second time, again a different person. So I explained everything again. I requested to please have the items re-sent. As I did not want a refund, I just wanted my items. I explained to them that I don’t have the financial means now to pay out for the items again. As the refund would take 5-7 days to be reflected in my account. I was upset and frustrated at this point, requested to speak with a manager, there were apparently no managers on site or on shift at the time of the evening. So I requested a call with a Jacamo manager for Thursday 2/10/25 between 8am-9am, I waited until 09:22am, no manager called me. I then called Jacamo customer services again, spoke with a third person, explained things. They confirmed that a ticket was not raised by the person I spoke with the day before. So they raised one, again falsely assured me that a Jacamo manager would call me from 15:00pm. I waited until 17:00pm. I then called Jacamo customer services again for a fourth time, spoke with another different individual. I had explain everything again. I got fobbed off by them, I requested to speak with a Jacamo manager, apparently at 17:18pm there was no manager on shift or onsite. I was so exasperated now, that I ended the call. I then tried the webchat through the Jacamo app, I spoke with person number five from Jacamo, again explained everything, I shared my notifications from Evri, the email thread from Jacamo, the email thread from Evri customer service team. Still no resolution reached. I’m so frustrated, upset, angry, disappointed, disgusted, disrespected. By how I have been treated in this whole entire situation. The abundance of unprofessional behaviour that has been demonstrated by Jacamo especially! They should have done more to help resolve the situation. As it completely ruined my husband birthday, as he had no presents, I had no financial funds to get anything else!
I then was at breaking point now, I called Jacamo complaints team and logged a complaint with Jacamo staff member number six! Who again has promised a manager will call on Friday 3/10/25. I don’t hold any hope or expectation of a resolution! It’s now over a week. Is just an utter disgrace. I don’t recommend Jacamo. Don’t shop with them!!! As they don’t hold any value in supporting their customers when things wrong. Boy did they go wrong for me and my family. I won’t be shopping with them again!!! I will take my complaint to the CEO of Jacamo. As all their staff need updates and training on how to treat customers, help resolve the issues before it grows into a huge complaints!!!

Absolutely awful

I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed with my recent experience with Jacamo. I ordered a polo shirt over a week ago, yet the order status has been stuck on “processing” the entire time. After contacting customer service today, I was told that the order still hasn’t even been processed.

This is completely unacceptable. I needed the item for this weekend’s event, but because of Jacamo’s delays and lack of communication, I’ve been forced to cancel. Now I have no time left to order from another retailer, meaning my plans have been ruined.

It’s 2025 — there is no excuse for a retailer to operate like this. Customers should not be left in the dark for a week with no updates and no progress. I expected better from a company of this size, but instead I’ve wasted time, been let down, and lost trust. I won’t be ordering from Jacamo again.

Placed my order on hold without even telling me for a ‘secondary account check’. I’m now stuck for an event i’m attending in the morning.
Appalling service - order cancelled and account closed straight away…
Will take 5 days to acknowledge my complaint and up to 8 weeks to reply - avoid avoid avoid…

AVOID AT ALL COSTS, TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DONT DELIVER.

There clothing is OK, however customer service is dreadful. They use Evri which is only slightly better than Yodel, both companies will not deliver and lose your parcel. Paid next day delivery, a week later no parcel and Jackamo are not interested and just keeping changing and lieing saying wait 24hrs, then 48hrs, then 4 days, then 5 days. Customer service don't care and fob you off. Disgraceful outfit.
So after 5 days they send this dribble, just evidences their total lack of regard for their customers. I've been stupid enough to agree to a re-order, again with next day delivery, but again they have failed to deliver and send useless emails and even offer me 25% off my next order, despite failing to deliver the last two. Total joke of a company, AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Order never delivered

Had notification my order was delivered, went to pick up point they tell me it’s not been delivered. Contacting Evri or Jamaco is almost impossible. I just want my money back now which seems impossible.

Shambolic, Incompetent Customer Service !!!

I have used this company for a few years for T shirts and other essentials with only a few problems that were not that big of a deal however the last issue is definitely going to be the last.

An IT error within their own internal system happened whilst making a payment. The money was taken but was not showing on my account, only on my bank account. I contacted their customer service to allow them to rectify their error only to be told to allow 5 working days and the payment may bounce back to my account.

This did not happen so I contacted via the chat function again... The troubles now begin.

Almost 80% of the staff I was in contact with cannot comprehend the English language (They seemed to read or hear a totally different thing I was saying in regards to the context of my complaint). I do not know where Jacamo outsources their customer service from but I'm gonna take an educated guess and say South Africa. Having foreigners run your UK customer service is no issue at all as long as they are competent in the basic communication methods !!!

FYI - THE UK BASED SERVICE IS EQUALLY AS BAD.

Long story short, I had to persistently chase the error to get my money that they had lost within their system. Despite talking to at least 15 different people from Jacamos customer representatives and providing bank statements even sending correspondence from their own customer service/complaints advisor acknowledging the error this was not resolved for over the course of two and a half months.

I was eventually given a cheque for the payment they had lost. God forbid this happens to you because all I can say is good luck. You will be ignored and made to feel like a fraud even when you present irrefutable evidence. Your only hope is perseverence in chasing it or save yourself the hassle and use a reputable company.

They promised me compensation for their error and the time I had spent chasing them to rectify the error so I would not close my account.

It's been over 2 weeks since this promise was made. Time has expired in terms of my faith in Jacamo and I will now take my custom elsewhere.

PS Ignore their automated generic reply to the review, they have done nothing to attempt to rectify the issue. My account was closed at the time of the original posting.

Jacamo is my go to clothes shopping

Jacamo is my go to clothes shopping. They’ve got a great selection, delivery is always quick, and the returns process couldn’t be easier. I’m not a fan of shopping in stores, so I like to order a bunch, try everything on in the comfort of home, and just send back what’s doesn’t work. Jacamo makes it simple and stress free!

My order was cancelled

My order was cancelled, no email sent to tell me it had been cancelled. The boots are still available to order!!!! Money out of bank account of course.
Chat service useless, managed to get past the bot, person said i should have an email explaining why! I hadn't and they couldn't answer why, I told them money taken from bank, answer if not refunded contact bank, unbelievable!! Then told could be my credit rating, I just told you I paid full amount via bank?? Why worry customers telling them it could be credit rating. Appalling

So I have had a reply to my complaint asking for my name , address and account number. No facility on the reply for me to send these details. I still have the money pending in my bank account and still have not had an email saying my item has been cancelled, as it was next day delivery and it's now the 12th !

Poor customer service

Paid extra for fast delivery, which was then late. Wasn’t offered the value back. Booked to return the item via Evri collection and it still hadn’t been collected after 9 days, despite several emails back and forth and re-arranged collection date from Jacamo. Don’t offer a service you have no intention of following up on. Poor AI generated responses to emails and a general lack of service all round. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I returned an item months ago provided tracking information and proof of postage but they still haven’t refunded me. They are not responding to my emails. Avoid shopping from this website.
