I ordered a beautiful duffel coat for my wife's birthday early in January and after placing the order I contacted customer support to ask if there was any way they could get the order to me on time for her big day. To be honest, I thought that dealing with a large company, coming back to work after the Christmas holiday shutdown, that my chances would be slim. Gloverall were absolutely fantastic, they sent the jacket to me on a special delivery and phoned to let me know it would be with me on time......brilliant customer service, well done! To cap it all my wife loved the duffel and she thought it was beautifully made and extremely good quality. Nothing but praise!

Great selection of high quality wool…
Great selection of high quality wool items. I searched quite a bit for a peacoat similar to the one I had in the navy. The coat I got blew me away. Great style, heavy, WARM. I could not be happier with my purchase. I received the coat quickly as well. I thought it might take a month for shipment as I’m in the US. My coat showed up in a week.

Quality went down drastically
Quality is not as it was. The price is still really high, but the quality is very average. Customer service is the worst, I needed to wait over 2 months and have spend hours and hours. In the end, they send the wrong item. Now I have to pay 50 euro to send it back.Thanks for nothing.

This is the first time I've purchased…
This is the first time I've purchased from Gloverall and I certainly wasn't disappointed. The website was very easy to navigate, ordering straightforward and delivery efficient and reliable.
I purchased a fit and flare duffle coat, which is true to size, excellent quality and very stylish. A little more than I would normally pay, but this coat will probably outlive me!!

Ordered a jacket for a Christmas…
Ordered a jacket for a Christmas present on December 02 in the companies sale. No jacket and finally contacted them to find out what the delay was. Told they didn’t receive the order from shopify even though I had an order number. Shopify were blamed for not sending a code to Gloverall. Result- 21/1/25 my order is cancelled and my money refunded. No offer to fulfill order at the sale price.

Thank you for your email. Regarding your inquiry, unfortunately, while the website manager was able to fix the error, they weren't able to pull your order through since we can't change the order details on Shopify once the order has been made. It prevents anyone from tampering with orders and usually we can make corrections in our software after the order has gone through to our system from Shopify then leave a note of what was changed on the Shopify record, but since your order wasn't pulled through we can't because there is no record in our software.
I am very sorry for this inconvenience, but we will have to cancel and refund your order.

Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with our service. I have spoken to our Customer Service so they will get in contact with you to try and resolve this matter.
Regarding your claim that they had blamed Shopify, I think there was some misunderstanding. We didn't blame Shopify for the error.
When an order is made on our website an order is created on Shopify which pulls through onto the system we use. All items in an order have two codes attached. One for Shopify so when an item is ordered it knows what you want and can modify the stock. The second is for our system essentially for the same thing. When an order is being pulled through from Shopify onto our system those codes are matched. Without those codes the systems have no idea what the other is referring to, so it fails.
Because the order didn't pull through onto our system, it wasn't visible in the queue of orders to fulfil because it essentially didn't exist from our software's perspective. During our very busy Christmas we weren't able to check through all the orders on the Shopify side, so we weren't aware of the problem until we checked when things began calming down and emailed you.

Customer service level was great
Customer service level was great. I appreciate the tips about delivery. I made a mistake in delivery details and contacted the company as soon as I realized it, the address could not be changed after the parcel was sent (which was really fast) but I got advice about what I could do then so that there would be no problems with the delivery.
