We make fancy pyjamas. But proper ones, you know? Hand-painted prints. Fine cotton. A tuxedo of leisure, if you will. A uniform to celebrate life at home.
They’re the sort of thing that can make everyday pursuits feel a little bit deluxe. We believe that proper pyjamas are to leisure what butter is to toast, a way of turning something quite ordinary into something quite magical.
It all started with women’s pyjamas. Now we make them for men and kids too, plus a handful of other snazzy things for around the home, like slippers, socks, and extra-deluxe robes.
Each collection brings with its prints. Each print is an artwork in its own right, inspired by travel and by life— Spanish palm, Greek myths, graceful tigers—hand-painted in our London studio. They’re printed onto organic cotton, hand-cut and sewn in Portugal. We then wrap them

A way of turning something quite ordinary into something quite magical. We've been making fancy pyjamas since 2014. Our latest collection, Die Alpen, has just launched. This Autumn-Winter captures the mood of the Alps. The palette. The Strudel. The feel of aching legs and a warm fire. Being hugged by a landscape. Our pyjamas come in a rather splendid box covered in leopards, secured in tissue with a free Sunday Paper to dive into.

I am extremely disappointed with the…
I am extremely disappointed with the item I received.
The fabric has white faded marks all over it, which makes it look worn, damaged, and nothing like a premium-quality product. This is completely unacceptable, especially considering the price I paid.

Great sleep wear
Great sleep wear. Opted for lightweight flannel this time. Very comfortable & helpful to those that get too warm in bed readily like myself. I'd like to see the size & cut of the Cuban style tops also offered in the more traditional styles as I find the sizing a little small for me. And please reissue the bandana set for men possibly in black this time. Should also mention that I was particularly impressed that D&D premium boxed packaging was provided with sales items. My other purchase was a gift & in doing this they greatly enhanced the presentation. I've always been very pleased with everything I chosen from D&D & I'm sure that won't change because if anything, the quality of garments is improving in my purchase experience over a number of years.

Hire more people for your customer…
Hire more people for your customer service and if somebody has a problem and is completely unsatisfied with your products, give them a refund. You act like a luxury company but you are not giving a luxury service. One of my pjs fabric is hard as a cardboard and the other lost 3 buttons already. Therefore I had a bad experience, your emails were misleading when I complained and when someone came to answer were not helpful.

We are always happy to process a refund if you are not satisfied with the product if it complies with our returns policy. Our 402s are a thicker cotton as mentioned on website and different from our usual soft cotton. Sorry this collection did not work out for you.

2 different pairs of pyjama trousers tore along back seam
Linen pyjama bottoms x2 split/tore alongside the back seam after 1 month and 3 months respectively. Both were a gift from my partner. Bought another pair of bottoms in one colour in a larger size to replace in case that was the issue (despite the original fit seeming fine), but the same thing happened to the new pair. I always washed on a cold cycle and we don’t own a tumble dryer. It seems like the fabric fibres are very weak as it’s not the seam itself that split but the fabric beside the seam.
If you look on eBay etc you see lots of linen pyjama shirts from D&D for resale but never the trousers - so my guess is that it is a common issue.
The aesthetic design of D&D stuff is lovely but there’s not any point in great aesthetics if the items do not last a reasonable length of time.
I wrote a review on the D&D site at the time but it was never published.

Impeccable
The service, packaging and product are impeccable. I love the designs and styling. The price is a little hard to swallow so I tend to only buy gifts for my wife. I wouldn’t buy for myself at this price point. As a fancy gift to soften the spouse is a no brainer
