£49 for Direct debit missing
Don't apply before read this comment.
If u miss your direct debit they charging £49 every missing direct debit.It doesn't matter how much you spend in your account.If you're looking fuel card,you should check Shell fuel card.Because shell not charging any money for direct debit missing.Also fuelgenie have a poor customer service.

The dates when the funds are taken from your bank following the Direct Debit request are determined by the bank and the payment clearance process; we request the DD on a set date, the bank will honour the DD request, usually the day after the initial request (this is when you'll see it deducted from your bank account), and we will receive the cleared funds from the bank the day after they honour the request, so there is a 3 working days cycle for the payment; initial request, payment and then clearance of funds.
Unfortunately we can't make the funds available as credit again until we receive the cleared funds from the bank.

READ BEFORE APPLYING.
Reviews do not seem legitimate.
Charge of £49 for a direct debit return which will add on every few weeks upon failed payments.
Outrageous charge and no set date for a direct debit.

I deleted the app. I just wanted to post a few prices I had recently paid. But the app requires log in and passwords that are not kept in my iPad manager…

This has to be one of the worst…
This has to be one of the worst customer service companies I've come across. Can't believe the reviews here (sus).
Good luck with getting a rely on via email, hasn't happened yet despite over 20+ attempts.
So you pick up the phone to cancel the account, to be told you need to send an email, which you do but no reply and when you phone back again they said they don't get it.
For your sanity avoid!

Unfortunately we can't accept a verbal request to close an account; as part of our security process, which is in place for the protection of our customer's accounts, we require all account closure requests to be sent by in writing so there us an audit for the cancellation of the account. This is standard practice for any business account scheme of this nature.
Any emails which are successfully received are usually answered within a 2 working days time frame, and our help desk would advise of alternative approaches to sending us a written request long before any customer encountered 20+ failed attempts at sending us an email.
