Cover-4-Less Arvostelua 

All this company does is use engineers on a fixed price basis.
In my case unfortunately it was a Currys engineer.
2 days off work each time came with wrong or faulty parts.
He carried out electrical test that he didn't have a clue what the acceptable reading would be.
With me been a qualified electrician I corrected him on this.
However he still recorded incorrect results on his paperwork.
By this time I had lost all confidence in this engineer.
He then dreamed up a wiring fault.
So 2 days off work
£50 OR £55 PAID EXCESS
they offered me a small % due to the age of my machine.
Which meant they offered me £25
Absolutely nightmare of a company.
I stated send me the parts I will fix it myself.
They ended up paying me the engineer repair allowance.
Absolute joke of a company

It was easy to get into and to add all my items. I got a phone call from one of the representatives to check if everything was okay m.

Please Avoid ! Absolute scammers ! I rang today to ask that someone come and look at my electric smeg cooker which isn’t working properly a hob has suddenly stopped working oven not heating properly they told me as the policy is under a year old I should continue to use a faulty cooker for another couple of months and then call back !! Shocking ! So that’s the helpful advice I received to continue using a faulty appliance my god no health & safety precautions with this bunch of incompetent cowboys !!! Literally gobsmacked !!! thank god I recorded the call so will be sending in to trading standards these sort of companies need independent reviews and investigation imagine the poor elderly and disabled being told to carry on using dodgy appliances ! When could be a potential fire hazard !! Absolutely disgusting!!! I requested my premium be cancelled and I recieve a full refund because my appliances are clearly not protected they are just taking my money and not providing adequate cover for emergencies such as this. If not refunded I’ll go to the financial ombudsman! Awful company !

But feel they are a good company with good affordable prices.

Not worth the paper it’s written on. I have a broken dishwasher and called to make a claim. First thing they wanted was a receipt for the purchase. It’s 7 years old. So no, I don’t have a receipt. Then told I could make the claim but the dishwasher would be removed from the policy moving forward. AND any claims made within the first year the whole policy needs to be paid for in full up front. Absolute con. AVOID. Cancelled it and gone back to Domestic and General

I was undecided about which company to use for my appliances so called Cover 4 less and I spoke to a very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly young lady called Josie who helped me through making the correct decision about insuring my domestic appliances with Cover 4 less .

Read the terms & Conditions.
If your appliance is over 5 but less than 7 years old, you will get 75% of the purchase price.
Note (Not the valuation price you input when you list your appliances but the price you paid when you bought the appliance)
Between 7 and 9 years old, you get 50% of the purchase price.
Over 9 years old, you get 25% of the purchase price.
None of this is mentioned on their website and is hidden on page 4 of their document that they send you.
Also, once you make a claim you have to make a full years payment up. So if your paying £30 per month and you started in January and claimed in February, you have to pay all the future months to January.
Basically paying monthly for your own claim.
I didn't like the way my claim was dealt with. I even had to provide an invoice as they use the barcode of the appliance to make the purchase date up.
Although they ask you to read the T & C's I didn't and felt deceived when I tried to claim £500 for a new fridge freezer. After much discussion and showing them my purchase invoice, they reluctantly gave me £190 (50% of their purchase estimate) and then made me promise to make the years payments up (later receeeded this part). I paid this insurance for 2 years thinking I was protecting my appliances. I wouldn't bother with them again and have stopped my direct debit.

The person that I spoke with to sort out setting up my insurance was really helpful & easy to talk to.

Would certainly recommend cover 4-less very good company 10 out of 10 good value for the money good quick service
