Buzz Supplies Ltd Arvostelua 

I placed an order (#2000374024) on 19 July as a private consumer and paid £6.49 extra for "Premium Courier". At checkout and on my confirmation email, there was zero mention of warehouse delays, stock holds, or lead times.

After 8 days of total silence, I had to email customer service to ask where my package was. Only then was the item dispatched on 27 July.

When I requested a partial refund for the £6.49 express delivery fee—since the item sat untouched in their warehouse for over a week—customer service refused. Their explanation was that "premium courier is 24-hour delivery from dispatch, not from order placement" due to undisclosed "product lead times."

On top of this, they automatically attach strict B2B Terms & Conditions trying to claim consumer distance selling protections do not apply to purchases on their site.

Holding orders for 8 days without notice, hiding behind unstated lead times to keep express delivery fees, and attempting to strip away statutory consumer rights in fine print is completely unacceptable.

UPDATE (28/07/2026):

Following my formal email requesting management escalation (and mentioning Klarna dispute proceedings), along with this public review, customer service emailed to confirm a full refund for the £6.49 delivery fee.

​However, even while processing the refund, customer service decided to double down with more defensive excuses, claiming delivery terms were clear at checkout while completely ignoring the core issue: holding a paid "Premium Courier" order in a warehouse for 8 days without a single word of communication.

​I am glad the money is being returned, but having to threaten formal disputes and leave a 1 star review just to get a retailer to acknowledge basic service failures confirms why my rating remains 1 star.

On top of having to email them myself just to get the order moving in the first place, the overall experience was abysmal. I will not be shopping here again.

I couldn’t get 5% welcome discount and customer service staff were not very helpful.

Bought a Thermapen digital thermometer from Buzz; very good quality and excellent price. Easy to understand and use and, judging by the results, seems to be accurate. Arrived well packed and undamaged but delivery was slower than expected: 4 working days.

I found Buzz on a search engine after looking for 6 viterous rice bowls. Well priced so placed my order. A few days later it was dispatched and I received tracking updates. Arrived as expected exceptionally well packaged. Quality as expected. A faster dispatch would have earned 5 stars. I would use again.

I placed my order on 24 June and didn't receive it until 4 July, despite paying for Premium Courier delivery. During that time I emailed them almost every day and was repeatedly told my order would be dispatched soon or within 24 hours.

What they failed to tell me until the very end was that they were holding my entire order because two silicone spatulas worth around £12 were out of stock. One simple email or phone call could have solved the problem immediately, but instead they kept me waiting for over a week.

Because of their poor communication and disorganized management, my business launch and council inspection schedule were delayed, causing unnecessary stress and financial loss. Ironically, an order I placed with Temu on the same day arrived at exactly the same time as my order from this UK supplier.

They chose to protect a £12 sale instead of looking after a customer. I will never use Buzz Catering Supplies again and cannot recommend them to anyone who values reliable service or honest communication.

I purchased a six slice toaster and initially gave a 5 star review based on ordering and delivery. However on using the product, it does not toast the bread fully without turning the slices and the whole unit gets so hot that it is dangerous to touch. On raising the issue with Buzz on 23rd June I was asked to return the unit for service (when I don't think the product was fit for purpose and had asked for a replacement or refund) but having co-operated with the return I have heard nothing since. We have a busy cafe with no toaster - this is poor customer service - hence my new score of just one star!
