DON'T BUY BOSCH APPLIANCES! I have a HMV3053C Over the Range Bosch Microwave that has an August, 2017 manufactured date. The Microwave was purchased in 2019 and first used in October 2019. I went to heat up my coffee, opened the door and heard an electrical surge just from just opening the door. I turned all of the breakers on and off but the microwave never came back on! I looked up this issue online and it is an issue that I saw mentioned in some forums and read that it would cost as much to repair it as buying a new microwave. I called the Bosch customer service and they gave me the cost of a service call and the labour for the repair not including the cost of the parts which confirmed what was said in the forum about repair cost. I asked customer service if they could stand by their product since the microwave is so expensive and not that old and I got an absolute NO that they would not stand by their product. I was under the impression the Bosch brand of appliances was a reputable brand that would last for many years since the prices of this brand are highly priced. This is not the case. I've hand $100 microwaves that have lasted many years past a Bosch brand microwave! Never again will I buy any appliance from this brand! Don't waste your hard earned money to buy the so called great brand Bosch. This is absolutely not the case and the customer service is also crap like the appliances. DON'T BUY BOSCH APPLIANCES!

After much research and consideration, we decided to invest in what we believed to be a top-quality appliance, Bosch's $2,000 benchmark dishwasher, touted as the best dishwasher one could possibly buy. Our excitement quickly turned to frustration when, within just 30 days of purchase, the dishwasher ceased to clean dishes on the bottom rack effectively. Promptly reaching out to Bosch for assistance, we were hopeful for a swift and satisfactory resolution. A technician was sent to our home, who then proceeded to suggest that the issue stemmed from our misuse of the appliance, advising us to "properly" load the dishwasher and to use the "correct" soap. It was disappointing and somewhat insulting, as we had already been diligent in following the manufacturer's recommendations, even going so far as to watch instructional videos prior to use.When the initial advice failed to rectify the issue, the technician returned, ran several tests, but was unable to diagnose the problem. Parts were ordered, and we were assured that the repairs would be completed in a couple of weeks. However, nearly two months have passed, and we've been informed that the parts are on backorder with an undetermined arrival date.Throughout this ordeal, we sought a replacement appliance, only to be met with difficult technical support and no viable solution to our predicament. The level of customer service has been deeply unsatisfactory, especially considering the significant investment made in what we assumed would be a high-quality, reliable product. I am sharing this experience to caution potential buyers. It was our belief that purchasing a more expensive, supposedly superior product from Bosch would ensure a long-lasting, problem-free experience. Unfortunately, this has not been the case. The product quality and customer service have both been incredibly disappointing, and I would advise against making the same mistake we did.

I purchased 2 top of the line Bosch 800 series crystal dry dishwashers from Bosch about 1 year ago. 1 has cleans ok (not great but ok). The other has not cleaned properly since it was purchased. Bosh originally said that the heating element was bad and had it replaced. It still does not work. I have spent dozens of hours on the phone with Bosch trying to get it serviced. I was told that they do not service my area (Main Line Philadelphia) and that I need to have an authorized provider fix it but their providers are booked and will not service it. After more calls to Bosch, they said they arranged to have their provider come fix it, but I never heard back. I followed up and was told service would be scheduled but again it was not. This has been going on for months. On Friday, I received another copy of a email from Bosch approving the "discount" or my appliance repair and stating the customer case number and servicer phone number, but the servicer said that Bosch never sent them dispatch authorization. I can not reply to the emails because they are sent from no reply addresses. This is not the first time this has happened. I am now stuck with a defective built-in $1,200 dishwasher and have spent an insane amount of time and energy trying to have it fixed. Incredibly disappointing. No NOT buy Bosch.

Terrible company. I ordered a coffee machine and not even 5 days they didn't dispatched.
Not recommand to anyone this terrible company which use the Bosch name.

Washing machine failed after 3 years. No warranty cover for a faulty machine. I've been buying Bosch for all my appliances because of their supposed quality - but never again. Cost to repair it is almost as much as buying a brand new machine. Jokers.

Last tuesday I ordered direct from bosh uk a new coffee machine as my old faithful of 10 years decided to retire. However when I ordered it I got confirmation saying it would be dispatched a week later. So I thought that was rather excessive and the next day rang to cancel. Was told to put in email and it would be actioned immediately. On Friday just gone I chased it up and was told the email is in a queue and it’s next in line to be dealt with. Well today Sunday i get a mail saying it’s too late to cancel and to either not accept delivery ( anyone ever tried to do it, I did once and the driver refused coz he had already pressed the delivery button on his phone) or once I receive live tracking I can request this to be cancelled. I appreciate it’s not an expensive item. However I gave them adequate notice of cancellation and their own processes are broken it seems. I want my money back , yet it seems even harder to get than the machine . Whilst I like the product it seems the word customer service is not in their range of skills and would never recommend them to anyone

Leider Fehlberatung durch den Bosch Service. Er hat uns eine nicht förderfähige Wärmepumpe angeboten und somit haben ca. 7.000 Euro Verlust gehabt.
Zudem will Bosch die Verantwortung für die Fehlberatung auf den Fachbetrieb abwählen und sind quasi abgetaucht. Unser Berater ist nicht mehr erreichbar.

On my second bosch washer dryer,this one lasted 3 years,dryer not working, you would think it would last longer after paying £750. I thought I was buying quality German engineering but I am informed that the product is made in China. I won't be buying bosch again

Bought a heat pump dryer and after 3 years and 9 months of use, the coolant leaked out. Paid $110 NZD to bosch and they sent a technician to inspect the dryer and told me that it cannot be fixed.

I have contacted the local repairer myself and have been told that they have never seen coolant leak out from a heat pump dryer, no matter what brand.

Bosch rejected any responsibility, refused to provide any resolution, and mislead me of the local consumer law.

I will never buy a Bosch product again, what a greedy company.

Terrible customer service from Bosch Home appliances in Irving CA. It took a mommy and a half to get an appointment to fix our dishwasher. The customer service reps are not very customer oriented.

Ich stelle fest, das BOSCH geräte ab ca. 2000 Produktion ausnahmslos Fabrikneuer Schrott sind. Hatte viele BOSCH geräte, die, die von 1990 bis 1998 gebaut worden sind - SUPER und laufen heute noch. Alles andere nach ca. 2000 alles mehrmals kaputt gegangen bis hin zu Totalschäden. Fazit: Jedes billige China produkt ist um klassen besser als ein teures BOSCH produkt ab Produktionsjahr 2000.

Freezer iced up to the point you couldn't open the door. Bosch authorized technician told us he'd repaired a number of these recently as the pistons on the drawer slides are defective. Paid more than $370 for the parts on a fridge less than 2 years old. Bosch refused to cover the cost of the parts and gave me the runaround for more than 3 months. Ice maker is now making a knocking sound. Cheap quality product at a premium price. Do not buy these appliances.

Grenzt schon fast an Betrug. Der Kundenservice ist praktisch nicht vorhanden. Seit einem Monat warte ich darauf meine defekten BOSCH Produkte auszutauschen. Passiert ist noch gar nichts nach meinen vielen E-Mails und Telefonaten wo man auch Mal einfach 30 Minuten in der Warteschleife hängt. Gott behüte diejenigen die Mal ein Problem mit einem BOSCH Gerät haben. Werde mir nie wieder ein BOSCH Gerät kaufen!

Purchased a top of the line Bosch dishwasher for our new kitchen remodel. We have it for just about a year and 5 months and it is already having problems, gets stuck in a mode won’t switch, pods are not dissolving during wash. Had a repair man out, we were told it’s outside the warranty and needs almost $800 of repairs. He recommended filing a claim, which I did. The repair appointment was scheduled and still no response from Bosch. I called waited 2 hours to be told they have no information on my claim. Emailed again said my receipt wasn’t sufficient. So no claim accepted. If you want to pay $1500 for a fancy dishwasher that doesn’t work properly and is very loud, have at it. I personally can’t recommend this company.

On the 31st of August 2023 I booked a repair for a washer dryer (still under warranty). Subsequently Bosch have made 6 attempts to repair the machine, yet the original fault still prevails. In each instance I have had to wait around 2 weeks between appointments. No prioritisation has been given to me, despite this consistent failed repair’s on Bosch’s behalf. In this time frame I have spent hundreds of pounds on laundry services. I have a toddler who generates large volumes of laundry, and in several instances, I have been left with no clean clothes in which to dress him. Despite multiple calls, and me formally complaining Bosch have done nothing to resolve the issue.

I bought a Bosch Flexxo Serie 4 ProHome 2in1 cordless upright vacuum cleaner on 31. January 2022.
It is the worst design of anything I have ever bought .
The person who designed this vacuum cleaner should hang their head in shame . Little plastic clips and pulls just break and I had already bought some spares one before and now the same thing happened again . The Bosch is now held together with sticky tape and it won’t be long before the next bit will break . I have never known such a bad useless design and it is not worthy of the name Bosch at all .

Habe über einen Versand eine Bosch-Spülmaschine bestellt. Diese würde zügig und in unversehrter Verpackung geliefert. Bei der ersten Inbetreibnahme lief Wasser aus der Maschine. Der Bosch-Kundendienst kam schnell und teilte mir mit, dass die Maschine einen Transportschaden habe. Man bot mir eine neue Maschine inkl. Einbau an. Nach mehrere Telefonaten mit Bosch gibt es noch immer keinen Liefertermin für das Ersatzgerät. Der genervte Servicemitarbeiter teilte mir mit, dass es auch noch dauern könnte. Wir spülen seit mittlerweile 4 Wochen von Hand. Von Service kann nicht die Rede sein. Habe das Gerät jetzt direkt über den Leiferanten reklamiert.

Danke der Fa. Bosch für die standardisierte Antwort! Aber auf die "hohe Servicequalität" verzichte ich in Zukunft gerne. Das Gerät geht zurück. Ich kaufe mir nun ein Gerät von Miele.

Bosch offered an extended service warranty on a dishwasher, which has been helpful as it keeps getting glass and other items stuck in the pump, which causes it to stop working. The service process is Byzantine however, involving a call to a specific number which is not readily available on the website, and which the customer service people do not know about. Then, they require one who lives outside a major metropolitan area to wait for a call from the service person, whom they insist on contacting. The catch is, they slow walk that part until you call again, after no contact person calls. The warranty service desk then "escalates" the call based on your irate second call. Eventually, after still no call-back they can be convinced to give you that person's name, and you call yourself. The local service person is always competent, and sometimes communicative. The last person I had out 6 months ago still had not heard from Bosch, but since he was an authorized repair person he billed them after the call and that seemed to work. Now I am in the spiral again. Plan to have your dishwasher out of service for several weeks at least.
