Blue Ribbon Bags closed my case claiming the bag had arrived, while WestJet’s system still showed “Awaiting Arrival.” I provided updated evidence, but received conflicting information. Very disappointing service.

After further investigation, we can confirm your file was closed correctly. Rest assured, our team provide the most up-to-date information and in cases like yours we were able to update you, of your bag's location before it had been processed by the airline and ground handler.
To avoid any confusion, Blue Ribbon Bags is a baggage tracking service and not a ground handler or delivery company. Your bag arrived at its destination airport on 13th September 2026 which, as per our service agreement, closes the missing bag report. This is because your bag arrived at its final destination before 96 hours had passed and you were therefore not eligible for our Satisfaction Guarantee Payment.
Unfortunately the delivery company, contracted by the airline did not process and deliver your bag until 16th September 2026, which caused the additional 3 day delay. We can not physically retrieve bags, nor can we deliver them to you, the ground handler and airline are responsible for coordinating this.
We understand that knowing where your bag is, does not replace having it delivered and we are sorry for the frustration this has caused. We have continued to assist where possible, but ultimately the airline has control over the physical delivery of your baggage.

No me han ayudado y además me dan información contradictoria a la aerolínea
Es una muy mala empresa. Tengo mi caso desde el 11 de agosto. Me dijeron que la maleta sí había sido enviada en mi vuelo y por eso cerraron mi caso; la aerolínea siempre me dijo que no fue así. Nunca me ayudaron. Hoy (10.09.2026) me confirmó la aerolínea que mi maleta no solo nunca llegó, sino que ya se dio por perdida. Y al final el seguro que me vendieron nunca sirvió de nada. Nunca me ayudaron. Les he enviado un correo el día de hoy, informando la decisión de la aerolínea, pero tampoco me responden.
Quiero que se entienda algo muy claro: la aerolínea me confirmó que la maleta nunca llegó; se extravió probablemente en la escala de AMS.
Blue Ribbon dice que ellos no cubren el robo, pero NO fue así; estoy muy decepcionada.
Si Blue Ribbon desea, puedo enviarles la comunicación de parte de la aerolínea donde confirman la pérdida. También es mentira que en su sistema diga que sí llegó, porque ellos me confirmaron que NO fue así.

I had an extremely disappointing…
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Blue Ribbon Bags (BRB). I filed a timely claim for my lost luggage, but within 7 minutes of sending my flight details, BRB arbitrarily closed the case. They claimed the airline’s tracking system showed my bag arrived on my flight, completely ignoring the official confirmation email I attached from the airline stating my luggage was missing.
After closing my claim, BRB stopped responding to all of my emails. I was forced to contact the booking company I bought my tickets through to escalate the matter. Only after the booking company intervened with proof that my bag was delayed for 7 days did BRB finally honor their policy and release my money. Their customer service was completely unhelpful until third-party pressure was applied.

Terrible customer service. I reported my delayed baggage within 24 hours and sent the PIR by email, but received no response. After a month and three follow-ups, they finally replied with an unnecessarily arrogant tone, even stating: “For complete clarity, we are providing this information as a courtesy to you…” Very disappointing experience.
