Great experience from start to finish. James Howard was our consultant and he guided us through every and was extremely helpful all the way through. We really appreciated his expertise.

We took a long time deciding on our dream kitchen, but Aston at the Llanelli store was so helpful throughout the whole process. She made everything much easier, and the service we received was excellent.
When it came to fitting, we had one small issue, but it was resolved within a few hours, which we really appreciated. Now that everything is finished, we're so pleased with how the kitchen looks—it has turned out beautifully.
We'd heard plenty of horror stories about kitchen renovations, so it was a relief that our experience was so smooth from start to finish. We'd happily recommend Benchmark Kitchens to anyone considering a new kitchen.

Glen, Sue and the rest of the team facilitated the buying process making it an absolute pleasure doing business with them. They heard and understood the my bespoke requirements and they responded with the utmost care and attention. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!

We purchased our kitchen from Gemma at Benchmarx at the Chatteris branch.
The whole experience was 100% positive there were a few parts missing but they were sent without any problems at all.
The courier hadn’t secured the ovens in the lorry & they fell on top of some box’s but fortunately were not damaged.
We’ve bought all our Quickstep flooring there too which is really great.
Gemma went above & beyond to help us & would 100% use her expertise again.

I spent £10,502 on a new kitchen from Benchmarx and, unfortunately, the experience was far more stressful than it should have been.

Before placing my order, I was repeatedly asked to secure a fitter and confirm installation dates. Once everything was booked, the problems started. There were issues with my contract, delays to the delivery, incomplete deliveries, missing items and conflicting explanations about why my kitchen hadn’t arrived. At various points I was told it was due to the cooling-off period, supplier stock issues and even that deliveries had been lost.

The installation was delayed because not everything arrived when it should have. Some items were unusable, and additional parts, including two cabinet doors, arrived after my fitter had moved on to another project, meaning they are still waiting to be fitted.

It wasn’t until I escalated my complaint to head office and involved the finance company that things started to move. To their credit, the remaining kitchen units were delivered promptly after that, and the installation was eventually completed.

However, my experience hasn’t ended there. The hob supplied with the kitchen has already developed scratches after only a short period of normal use, and I am now having to raise yet another issue.

The kitchen itself looks lovely now it is installed, but the journey to get there was stressful, time-consuming and filled with unnecessary problems. For a purchase of this value, I expected much better planning, communication and quality control.

I hope Benchmarx will resolve the hob issue promptly, but based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend them without reservation.

Pre-fit site visit to check the design sense and fit

Service and after-sales service both so good, I went back to buy some beautiful doors and flooring. Thank you guys!

Thanks also to Felix - the nicest and most helpful delivery driver I've ever had knock at my door. Felix checked every bit of my kitchen and utility was there with its packaging intact and helped to put it into the house.

I hadn't installed a Benchmarx kitchen for 15 years so was interested to find out what the experience would be .
Firstly the quality of the kitchens carcasses, doors and fittings remain a high standard with improved legs and vinyl wrap on the plinths and light rails/pelmets. From an installers point of view this is paramount.

The team at the basildon branch were nothing less than excellent in all aspects of the project from design to delivery, query engagement and variation turnaround.
All team members were professional and polite to deal with, extremely helpful and accommodating with a few minor changes that we felt were required.

So to name check accordingly and in no particular order, Carla, Billy & James an absolute pleasure to have worked with you guys on this important project for my valued client. And a special mention to Felix the delivery guy, probably the nicest man in logistics that I have met in 40 years in the trade. Expertly checks off the delivery on site and fully assisted us in unloading and carrying into the site. Also called in advance to advise of ETA and remained patient throughout the unloading process.

All in all a painless experience and I look forward to working with Benchmarx again.

Benchmarx at Brentwood really hit the mark with the kitchen I bought. From talking through ideas and visualising the kitchen with Ray to designing on screen and site visits the process was so easy. Changes in design and model/colour were never an issue and Ray and Daniel came up with different solutions to fit the size of the kitchen as well as giving me a modern kitchen space. Ray was very accommodation and flexible with the moving timescales and ensured communication was good throughout. Thank you both Ray and Daniel for taking the stress out of getting a new kitchen.

Very impressed with Mark at Benchmarx. He has been extremely helpful. Very obliging without being pushy.
Has not tried pressurising me in any way to gain my custom in preference to his opponents.

Great quality and a truly friendly, professional support and service from the Chelmsford Team from start to finish. I have previously had the same great experience from other Benchmarx branches so I believe great customer care is just built into this great company’s DNA.
Such a better experience than initial interactions with their so called competitors. Unlike their main competitors Benchmarx will work directly with you as the end client not just through a builder or installer.

As always the team at Martlesham Bechmarx go that bit more to make sure the customer is happy. Used several times in the past for kitchen and doors etc. Barbara onsite is so helpful positive, professional and generally happy too! She always helps out and to fix any issues that could arise. What a service, thats why i will always use Benchmarx for kitchens. Brilliant service.

We bought our kitchen from Kendal but also dealt with the team at the Barrow store. Every single member of staff at both sites (and the delivery driver) were amazing.

Our main contact, Leah, was particularly fabulous. She supported us through the whole process, showed endless patience with us, and nothing was ever too much trouble.

We are absolutely delighted with the high quality of our kitchen.

Customer care is abysmal. We spent c £10000 on a new kitchen , and then needed an appliance cabinet for a new boiler. The rep came and measured up and the new appliance cabinet was duly sent, at a further cost of £100s. However it had two boxes of shelves, which we did not need, as the cabinet contained a boiler and there was no room for shelves, and they were not needed. We did return them, and hoped we would be refunded the £150 which the shelves cost ,as they were not needed and we could not put them in the appliance cupboard, as the boiler took up all the room. No such luck. Having spent £1000s with the company we hoped they would be agreeable. It was not professional to send the shelves when we could not put them in the cabinet as the boiler took up all the room. I am writing this review so others are aware.

Really pleased with my new kitchen from Benchmarx Epsom. The designer, Paul Harris-Grundy, made the whole process straightforward — we worked through a few iterations together and arrived at a final design that I'm happy about. Delivery was timely and when I needed a few extra bits, the team was accommodating and again delivered when promised.

Overall, a great end-to-end experience. I'd happily recommend Benchmarx Epsom and Paul to anyone planning a new kitchen.

What a great experience from beginning to end! Two of my neighbours recommended Benchmarx in Carlisle when I wished to change my kitchen. I couldn't be happier! Dani designed my kitchen and she had a keen eye for colours and style, thanks so much Dani! The whole process from design to completion went like a dream. The quality of the materials is second to none and the service is incredible.
