Bike has now arrived after a delayed delivery. However when I called to ask about the delivery the first person I spoke with was very helpful, the second person was more interested in arguing with me about who I spoke with. I thought I had spoken to a lady, and was persistently told that no females work there so perhaps it wasn’t there I called. Very frustrating when you’ve ordered an expensive bit of kit from a company.

You sent me a used hub that was in bits and I had to rebuild it . Shocking

Very slick ordered the bike it was built the next morning and I got it next day even the delivery company were ace I would recommend highly

Not very good this time, although I like Balfes. Took a long time to redeem my cycle scheme voucher, had to call to sort it out. Bike came with box very damaged (big hole) and had a puncture in the rear tyre.

Great bike delivered as promised made up ready to go.

I cannot fault Balfes bikes in terms of delivery as the saddle arrived really quickly in perfect condition. I just wish that there was an option to return saddles that’s don’t work after minor use (a problem with most bike retailers) as I have a feeling I’ll be selling this one on eBay a few months down the line!

Balfes bikes were great. I placed an order through the Cyclescheme and all was great.
Communication was very good and all questions answered nicely

I bought my bike online. Having compared prices across other platforms, Balfe’s were the most competitive and importantly for me, they have a no hidden charges for the Cycle to Work Scheme. Accepting the voucher was very straightforward. My bike was delivered via DX. It took nearly a week, partly due to coinciding with the August Bank holiday.
The bike was well packaged and set up so I only had to realign the handlebars and attach my separately purchased pedals. All in all a good experience and a great bike.

A replacement part was supplied at a discount due to just being out of warranty.

Service with a smile - on my face that is - as the order was promptly sorted. Good Work.

Good service quick delivery came four days before expected dilivery date product did job good quality.
