Ver disappointing service
I ordered a £5000 bike
It arrived with the chain jammed against the frame which could not be released
No Di2 charger
Incorrect crank lengths (172.5cm on a 52 inch frame) even though all spec was for 170 cm
Contacted BALFE’S support
Sent in the requested photos
5 days later I hear that they have heard back from trek who will not process it until a photo of the frame number is sent (which I had in fact sent 5 days earlier but the balfes team had not forwarded to trek)
Still waiting for new cranks
Apparently I have to get them removed my self and return them to balfes before the correct ones will be sent to me and it’s not yet even agreed that this will happen
I had hoped to go on holiday with this bike next week but now cannot do so
I’m absolutely gutted

Communication was fantastic from start to finish. The bike itself arrived before expected and the delivery team were polite and helpful. The price was unbelievable given the quality of components!

Bike has now arrived after a delayed…
Bike has now arrived after a delayed delivery. However when I called to ask about the delivery the first person I spoke with was very helpful, the second person was more interested in arguing with me about who I spoke with. I thought I had spoken to a lady, and was persistently told that no females work there so perhaps it wasn’t there I called. Very frustrating when you’ve ordered an expensive bit of kit from a company.
