Ancestry.com.au Arvostelua 

I texted with "Leaf" and I received a few starting ideas where to look.
So far I was mesmerized by how I found out so much info from my father's decendants. It goes way back to 1400 -1500. I feel real good about knowing who I belong with and as if I knew all along. Just a load of history records from France to first settlers sent to La Nouvelle France, knowned to day as Quebec.

Whilst it is great to have ancestry asking for feedback, their survey should have included questions asking for suggestions and recommendations to improve the ancestry capacity even more.
Update.
After submitting the above reply to the Ancestry feedback survey, I received a positive response from Ancestry asking for my suggestions. Unfortunately the mechanism for doing this has not been developed by Ancestry. So I am just doing it here on Trustpilot. Who knows what will happen next?
So, 1st thing is I think that Ancestry needs to develop a better method of obtaining feedback by developing a more sophisticated survey. There are some very good apps and websites that specifically do this that they could use, such as Survey Monkey. By doing so Ancestry could develop a more sophiticated range of questions with different ways that people can respond. Very importantly, such a feedback survey could have a section that asks for suggestions, ideas and recommendations for Ancestry to further improve the Ancestry website.
I will leave my own ideas for how Ancestry could be even better until such a survey is developed as this is all too clunky and unsatisfactory.

Compared to the others it is the best just for the sheer volume of information it has. Well worth the subscription if you are serious about researching your ancestors

The emailed clues can be a great help.

I have been able to fill in most of my ancestors details right back to "William the Coqueror"

This company is extremely hard to get a response from and once they have your money, they don't want to deal with you!

Good inclusion of many records, but they must be filtered with basic gender details to make it more ergonomical and not spend time on details that should already be formally designated to specific person details.

The records available and ongoingly being added to, with the ability for the user to add corrections and notes is great for researchers. DNA testing with its matches, heritage, hints and Thrulines are all valuable resources for any keen genealogist.

I am going from my grandson's experience as they are more knowledgeable than me

I have a yearly auto-renew subscription which is quite pricey. It's paid in advance for the year. I cancelled the auto-renewal for the next subscription because I just don't use it enough to justify it and they charged to my bank account a cancellation fee. They just took the money right out of my account. Disappointed.

Attatching council names, like Surf Coast... is like saying the night is black... there is a million miles of surf coast line in Australia. WE ARE AN ISLAND!!!! Just have the NAME of the town where they are buried. True people die in other places, just this week I had a cousin died in a Sydney nurshing home, but she was buried 2 weeks later in the town, she spent most of her life, she was a teacher at Murrumburrah school for 49 years, but she lived in Harden. BUT the cemetery where she was buried is Murrumburrah 8kms further west as Harden does NOT have a cemetery!!! the 2 towns are only 3kms apart, Harden has the Railway station. So maybe you could add place of death and place of burial are 2 different locations

Hi, I love Ancestry because its easy to navigate and gives you information by green leaves that may relate to your tree. You have the choice of accepting it declining it or click maybe to check back when your further into your research. It can also connect you with other family members. Well done Ancestry.

Ancestry makes it so easy to find out about your family history. I have found family members I never knew about, and I am now very close to them. Everyone should have their DNA done to find out about their family. It is fun and amazing, and it can lead you to places you never imagined!

Most user-friendly site. Provides opportunity to share information, photos and family certificates with others. Has a wide pool of users to draw from.
