Very difficult to cancel subscriptions
The website and information I’ve obtained using iit is great. But to cancel a subscription, you have to jump through hoops. Navigating their website has sent me going in circles. Telephoned the customer service, then was advised to email them. They make it very difficult to cancel csubscriptions. Other than that I’ve found the website very useful.

Has been useful but an issue preventing DNA results becoming available could not be worked out after paying for 2 Tests. Searching for an adopted parents real relatives was not possible. This was extremely disappointing

Research unavailable to view
Have been a member on and off for years. My gripe is after spending years and lots of money researching including DNA testing, much information is locked until you pay more membership. This information should be available to view as I have done the research, not Ancestry. Also many records are inaccurate in spelling making research difficult at times.

I have been a financial subscriber to Ancestry for a long time. I use Ancestry information with Family Tree Maker (also for a long time). Both programs work well together. To print a family tree is easy using the FTM click and point method.

Don't want membership I'm very distraut over findings
Don't want membership I'm very disturbed by what I found and it has triggered old memories and thoughts I was better off not knowing I want it canceled I wish I could sue for the anxiety I'm going through now ..

Ancestry is great for family history…
Ancestry is great for family history research, it's very user friendly to use. It offers a fantastic archive of historical records from all over the world. Its genetic matching on their DNA tools made it easy to discover and connect with relatives I never even knew existed.

Never give up because it will happen
I fount out who I was after being adopted out at 2 days old. At about age 10 to 12 had a feeling I didn’t belong. I found out at age 43. I now feel like I’m comfortable with my families.

To invite a guest to your tree, open your tree and click your Tree Name in the top left, then select Tree Settings, choose the Sharing tab, and click Invite People. From there, enter their email address or username and select Guest. While system limits prevent us from sending you a direct personal email response, Ancestry's automated system will instantly deliver the invite link straight to your guest's inbox once you submit those steps!

I have been using this for about 25 years now.
some records disappear every now and again.
Other things are easy to find all the time.
small country towns are not always easy going.
DNA is not always easy to understand
But I still continue to use it.
the price is a little excessive for people who continue to pay year after year.
Maybe a discount for people every 5 years or so would be good.
The older people find it hard to sign in with double checking.
Hard when you just want 1 or 2 records from a country not on the Australian set and it will cost you double what you already pay
And then the Premium an extra expense again.
I still am here though
