Never setup direct debits this causing havoc on credit history.
For the the past 3 years, I continue to setup direct debit on this account, but this company intentionally don't set it up thus causing havoc on my credit history.
They have allowed my partner to set up…
They have allowed my partner to set up an account in my name and address without my permission and she used her bank account for the payments which is a totally different name to my name shes used for the account. Obviously they don't take identity theft seriously as they should of noticed the different names straight away. Now my lass as got into difficulty with receiving late payment fees for missed payments and interest rates and they're telling me i have to keep making the payments and threatening my credit score and they also said can't see any fraud on the account even though I've told them numberous times i didn't set it up . They don't seem bothered n fobbing me off so i have reported it to action fraud

What is the point of giving my partner a credit account (limit was £2400), letting her order items without any issues with no problems making repayments....but when she tried ordering an iphone, Ambrose Wilson decided my partner wasn't entitled to a credit account any more and closed it!!

I have used Ambrose Wilson for decades, but in recent years the quality of the clothes has declined and they no longer stock EE width shoes. I recently went back to them and ordered a few bits, most were OK, but two were not so I went online and booked 2 return pick ups via evri. Nobody came. I emailed them, received a reply asking me for full details of the items returned. I explained I had already submitted them but sent them again. A day later I received another email asking for the same information. This time I asked them to arrange collection for another day, and asked them to escalate it to a complaint as I had waited in two days for collections that failed to arrive. I've heard nothing since. We have a very reliable evri driver, who says that the collection dates had not been entered into their system by Ambrose Wilson so he cannot accept the parcels.

Grandma (90) placed an order months ago, but never received it. However, Ambrose Wilson cashed the cheque and took the money. Customer service was not helpful at all, like talking to a brick wall. Refused to do a refund. Back and forth over email. Absolutely awful experience.
What Customer services
Customer services are unhelpful,put us through hell, took a year to sort a problem, round and round for months, didn't even co operate with the financial ombudsman fully neither, Apr over 60 per cent, yet JD Williams only 40 odd, same company! Avoid this company at all costs, cos if you stay loyal like we were, they find excuses in order NOT to correct your account!

Unprofessional management and poor service
Very disappointing experience. The manager was unprofessional and dismissive when I questioned the service process. I felt pressured during the collection of my vehicle just to get back to work. They also refused to provide a Job Sheet or Diagnostic report despite my requests. A formal complaint has been lodged with Hyundai UK.

Ordered a gamepass
Ordered a gamepass, didnt arrive account still charged. One month later and multiple "3 days to respond" type rubbish and my account is still charged with a product i havent received.

I ordered a tankini set but when it arrived the bottoms were missing. I sent the item back and marked it on their online form as ‘defective missing parts’. I have now been charged £35 for this item. Even though the warehouse has acknowledged that they have the parcel, they have it marked as an unacceptable return because the bottoms are missing. They propose to send it back to me so that i can return it to them again and this time they will mark it as defective and give me back my £35 😂😂😂😂😂 what a malarky!
My request that they keep the item and just mark it as returned fell on deaf ears.
Have shopped with them for over 40 years but i wont be doing so anymore
