Worked to Improve Modern Events Calendar • Refused Refund
2022 November Black Friday - Cyber Monday
Took advantage of the Software Sale.
Event Butterfly Inc looked into many WordPress Calendar Plugins...
And decided on the
Webnus Modern Events Calendar,...
Downloaded all the software,...
only used it 3 months,...
but stopped for the increasing web design costs,...
that was due to Webnus software issue,... after software issue.
We feel Webnes should have fixed their software issues before release.
We invested the time in those 3 months in December January and February, and approximately spent 10 times more in hiring our people,... in hopes to get their software working correctly.
We even shared our findings,...
with the Webnus tech support team,...
to help with future improvements.
Despite all this,...
Webnus refused to compensate Event Butterfly for our efforts. A simple refund would not have recouped our losses, but it could have repaired our relationship,... for any mutually beneficial business moving forward.

Fix it, or refund my money
I purchased the MEC Gutenberg extension and it does not activate without crashing the admin dashboard. I was told to manually install and the extension features I want do not work. I provided access to our WP site to support, and I have not been contacted.

Event API stripping styling for the JS Iframe embed
Initially frustrated with delays and unclear communication, we only saw a faster response after leaving a 1-star rating. Despite this, we appreciate the eventual resolution. While our rating increases due to the resolution, better communication and comprehensive resources are still needed for a smoother experience with the Webnus MEC product.

Website Plugin Update Resolution
After a recent plugin update, I had a problem with the ability to pull Excel reports. I initially thought that it was due to the plugin itself, however, after Webnus did some research, they determined that the problem needed to be fixed by my website host provider. I reached out for support on what for most would be a simple issue, but for a novice working on a non-profit website it was a frustrating one. Webnus Customer Support agents jumped right and offered amazing support. Some designers can be dismissive of simpler requests, but not Webnus support. They were very responsive and got the situation resolved.

Very positive experience with Webnus MEC and support
Very positive experience with Webnus. Notwithstanding this plugin would be banned from the WordPress plugin overview site... Before that I had installed The Event Calender plugin - a disaster! Now that I work with MEC (Modern Event Calendar) everything runs smoothly. The support is extremely helpful, both via email and chat. It not only looks exceptionally beautiful, it also works very smoothly, quickly and SEO optimized. The only downside is that you cannot add the custom fields to the search function in the calendar. That's why 4 instead of 5 stars.

Great calendar with qualitative weaknesses
What I find great: The calendar is constantly being developed further and new functions are implemented. Also, the support usually responds within 24 hours. What I don't find so great: It happens regularly that with a new update existing functions suddenly have an error or what has also already happened that after an installed update the whole website produced errors. There is obviously poor quality control here. Also, the support (depending on the supporter) often does not understand where the error lies.
