I do many church and non-profit websites which use event calendars. I've been using Modern Events Calendar for years. The Lite version is very robust and the pro version is fantastic.
What really makes MEC stand out is support. When I have a question it is answered in a very timely manner. No waiting days for a reply.

I researched and demo-ed half a dozen other booking plugins before deciding on MEC Calendar and I haven't been disappointed. I've now got it running on two client sites without issues. Very flexible and expandable, it's solid and secure. Support is top notch too. Definitely the booking plugin to go for in my opinion.

I have been using Modern Events Calendar on multiple client websites for years now, and it works very well with the theme that is used. MEC has all the features needed that make it a solid calendar plugin. Tech support is very good, responsive, and a reason I continue to use MEC.

I've been using this plugin for years. It's not always been perfect, but when approached, they quickly address any outstanding issues, whether self-inflicted, a feature, or a bug.

Their support is outstanding and more than willing to support their clients.

I love one of the Modern Events Calendar's events carousels but I needed the lower half of the card to have a white background instead of a transparent background. The Webnus team wrote some custom css for me that colored the card to my wishes. Thanks everyone!

The support team were very helpful. They gave me clear instructions as to how to do what I was trying to do and options for how I could work round an issue.

Awful support, have a client site not being able to export bookings out. Plugins throw and error, setup a staging site for them to look at it and they are more interesting in saying there is no bug and blaming another plugin. There is a bug in their code and it breaks the site but they are more interested in getting the customer to figure out what is going wrong than doing the work themselves. This is has been going back and forth for a couple of weeks. I run over 50 WordPress sites and have many different event plugins and this is hands down the worst one. It is always breaking and they don't fix it. I have 2 other outstanding bugs with them that we have given up because again developers couldn't recreate it and blame other plugins when the site only runs what they support.

Great support. There are still some things that could be better, like design of the front end even submission and so on, but all in all the best event app for wordpress

1 week after submitting my initial query to the MEC support team I still find myself going around in circles with no resolution.

I have explained the same thing about five times and it takes at least 24 hours for them to respond to each and every message.

I have never experienced such poor customer support.

Based on the lack of resolution on such a simple query, I can only assume that MEC does not support Elementor Pro's archive template system, as the shortcode does not adopt the current archive query.

This means it is impossible to style category archive pages outside of the listing items themselves.

If anyone has a solution to this please let me know. Because the MEC support team certainly don't.

This developer pushed an update that changes all images on my site to have rounded corners of 1280px; and the admin setting to change this is not being save to the database.
They destroyed my site.
