Trying to cancel my subscription is taking way too long.

It's been days since I've requested to cancel my subscription. I still have not received a shipping label email. There is no way to call or contact the company directly. I've filled out a form that supposedly send a message about this. Still no response. The only way to talk to them is through a chatbot. This is very frusturating. At this point if I get charged for going over to the next month I'm going to dispute it with my credit card company cause this is getting a bit ridiculous.

Bad consumerservice is key problem

Bad consumerservice is key problem. Also It wasn't delivered in three days at all. I waited for half a month to deliver the goods. I was very disappointed because of the late delivery. And the customer service response was not timely, which also led to the loss of customers.

I have been enjoying my rental scooter

I have been enjoying my rental scooter! It’s light, it reaches a healthy speed, it’s quiet.

Even though I don’t take it for very long rides, it’s a good option for me to take to my workout classes, grocery shopping, etc.

Company needs better customer service

Scooter arrived in wrong color and had substantial scratches and scuffs on it. Customer service basically non-existent. I've emailed and got a response several days after. Still unclear on terms of promotion for the 2 Free Months, when will it take effect?

Worthless, Inconvenient Experience

The scooter I ordered shut down on a full battery multiple times. Once was in the middle of a ride and I had to push it back home in 100+ degrees. The subscriber option only partially refunds you. Scooter took forever to get delivered

Scooter took forever to get delivered. Quality of the scooter compared to Bird and Apollo is subpar. No suspension, bumpy ride, slow, could not figure out how to boost speed to 20mph.

To unlock the maximum speed of 20 mph on your Unagi scooter, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure the scooter is powered on.
2. Press and hold both the brake and throttle simultaneously.
4. Press the power button 10 times quickly.

You should hear a beep indicating that the scooter is now set to the higher speed mode.

I’ve reached out multiple times because…

I’ve reached out multiple times because I’m having trouble unlocking the scooter and no one has responded. I’m almost halfway through my first month and haven’t been able to use the scooter nor have I received any help.

This company really cares.

This company really cares. I've got a Voyager, and it is by far the best combination of fast and light on the market right now. Range is excellent, and the app is pretty much the highlight of the experience (very Apple-like). I like not having to worry about my tires puncturing, and I've never had trouble getting ahold of customer service. Scrolled through some of the reviews here, and I've always gotten a response, by email, within a couple hours. They even sent me ad-hoc parts at no charge when I asked. If there's one improvement I hope for the next generation of scooter its that they add a built in mount for my phone on the scooter. After all, I can keep up with friends that are on bikes, but I don't like having to stop to pull out my phone for directions. I will be keeping my Voyager for sure, and will probably grab another one for my wife.

I have been writing emails from a month…

I have been writing emails from a month and no one responds to them now. And the chat option on the website is really bad as there is no live agent and chatbot isn't good enough to provide such resolutions. If such services persist I'll be obligated to take a legal action.

Broken charger/device, no response

Only had scooter for a few days. Stopped working while riding, I think the handle bar does disconnected from the shaft cord. Also the charger is faulty and broken, won’t charge. Sent 2 emails. No one has responded to me from Unagi.

Terrible company

Terrible company. Their app doesn't work, and there is no one to speak to. They dont reply.
The scooter itself malfunctions. I really would not recommend
Update:
Though unagi was expeditious to respond to my trustpilot post, they have not responded to my multiple emails.
Don't take their post as good customer service. It's just them quickly trying to put out a fire

Scooters badly built, no rea customer service, slow, no shock absorb

Scooters are not well built. They tend to only last 300-500 miles until things really start to break apart.

The speed used to go 20mph when unlocked but after the recent firmware update. It's stuck 16 at most and auto brakes when you go down hill to keep it under 16mph.

I do not recommend buying it refurbished either.

Considering the price range of the scooters. I would expect greater quality. The scooter I use from Unagi is the Voyager (the successor to Model One)

It costs me $84/monthly
$10 more because I opted for using brand new scooter.
And $5 for theft insurance.

Customer service is very tedious and slow. It's all AI based. No more phone calls. The only way to reach a customer service representative is through email.

And even that's not easy to find their information. The customer service is also not really good. They closed a ticket of mine without fully answering a question about the firmware I had about them.

The cost to buy a Model One Voyager is $1490.

Honestly not worth it.

There are plenty of scooters with similar to better features that I've found and am going to switch to. For a fraction of the price. I've seen scooter around $500 out perform this one.

The tires are pnuematic? So are many other scooters.

This scooter doesn't have any shock absorbers so you feel all of the road and it's not good for non smooth roads. The only decent thing is the 1000W power and acceleration. But even that's pretty mid, especially for the pride range. plus all that acceleration only to get limited to 16mph. Ok.

The horn is pretty trash too. It's so quiet and weak. In the span of my subscription time so far. Which is about 2 years. I've received about 7 scooters. One replacement arrived dead on arrival. And some one fell apart while using it around the 500mi mark

Another only lasted 300 ish miles and the breaks started giving out.

And the last one I'm replacing because the handle bar and the base board junction became loose and causes the wheel to be unaligned, making it dangerous to operate. (it's been 5 days since I opened a ticket for a replacement via email. Still no update. No tracking# and the status on the replacement is still unshipped. )

I strongly do not recommend this company and I would never buy these scooters brand new.

It’s a no for me

It’s a no for me. I got the 80dollar scooter for the upgrade. I didn’t read the fine print, found out the scooter is 20KM and not Mph. So it’s slower than your average biker. Also I hit a small bump and the thing is t turning on. Writhing 3-4 days of riding it. Not worth it.
