Triton Showers Arvostelua 

Engineer was meant to attend today but was told at 9am that the engineer was ill.
No updates the day before and had to take the day off work for an engineer not to turn up to fix a faulty shower.
This is not a service customers should have to put up with, you put trust in people to be let down.
I have had to order a new unit at a cost to us with no compensation just a sorry!!

Showers come with 2 year warranty. In 10 years I have now replaced 3 Triton showers, all outside of warranty. Today ... the latest experience, called customer service had to wait in queue for 75 minutes to speak to a person and immediately they put the phone down

What a con the two year warranty is. Our shower broke before the two years were up, they said the new part is not covered as the problem is due to our ‘site conditions’. We live in a two bedroom house. They said the part is £8.99 plus postage and they can send someone to fix it for £99! We are never buying a Triton shower again. The warranty is not worth having! Thanks for nothing Triton. Don’t trust these con artists.

Compared to my stiebel eltron this is like a toy. I can only open my tap half way so that the water gets sort of hot. If I open it not quite enough, it will not turn on at all. I don't have the time to stand at my sink and try to adjust it. I expect from an instant water heater that it provides instant hot water as my SE did.

After writing a review of triton a week ago they wanted more details which I gave to them. To date there has been no response from triton. No surprises there!
Why ask for more details when they are going to ignore us yet again?

Showers don't last long, well within the 2 Year Manufacturer's Guarantee but no standard RMA process.

Risk of a call out charge higher than the cost of the shower

We have a problem with our t80z shower, we have a care plan and phoned Triton to get a engineer out to fix it. After waiting on the phone for 40 minutes they answered the phone and we were told to measure our water pressure by filling a 1 litre jug up 8 times and she would time me, after doing that she said we needed a new prd which was not covered on the care plan, so we paid £14.00 for it. She then left me on the phone waiting for her to tell me when a engineer will be coming out but after waiting for 15 minutes of silence I ended the call. I then got in touch with customer care and I was fobbed off by them. First they said it was covered by the care plan for safety reasons,then in the next e mail they said that it wasn't covered. We have been with Triton for many years but when this shower breaks down we won't be replacing it with a Triton one. Their attitude stinks and they need to get back to customer care. The first woman we spoke to was rude and talked down to me.

Regarding renewal of our insurance, you cannot be faulted. Unfortunately the same cannot be said about the performance of our shower at the moment! My wife and I are fully aware that if we call out an engineer and no fault is found we incur quite a hefty charge! Over the past few months with the weather being as it has been, I think that the water mains pressure was almost certainly reduced and, I think, that this would have affected the performance of our shower! Now that the weather has more or less returned to normal, I think that the problem with the pressure reduction would have disappeared! The problem with the shower however has not! To achieve a reasonable temperature, we have to turn the temperature control so far that the amount of water issuing from the shower head is negligible! Yesterday I tried turning the temperature control to the off position and the amount of water flowing from the shower head was tremendous, proving that the mains pressure was basically normal! Going through the process again and once more to achieve a minimal amount of warmth, it was back to a trickle!

Charged £125 for fitting fee. The guy came round said he can't fit it due to 'regulations' and left. Even though we answered 'yes' to the online questions for them to fit it.
The call out fee was £99 for them to do nothing.
DO NOT USE THEIR FITTING SERVICE AS ITS A SCAM.
Poor excuse of a company. Their answer when contacted was to 'find another fitter'.

Our new shower replaced a reliable Triton, it had served us well for over 15 years. The new shower is excellent, easy temperature control and volume of water control. Very quiet and consistent water temperature.

I replaced a faulty triton shower with a newer model, the new model was installed and not long after it would only give cold showers, I arranged an engineer visit and he said it was related to water pressure but changed a part anyway, I had never had problems with water pressure before, a few months later the water flow from the shower would not turn off so I Called a plumber ( this was late on a Saturday afternoon ), he arrived and said it was a stuck solenoid valve on the shower so turned off my water to get to the inlet pipe to cap it, I had to taketh shower off the wall to allow him access, I tried to call Titon showers everyday but after an hour on the phone on hold I never got through, I e mailed them but no reply, I finally got through 5 days later to be told an engineer would attend but the shower would have to be on the wall and working for him to fix it, I explained if it was put back on the wall the water would flow continually from the shower head !! but they just did not listen ! they actually wanted me to re install it with the water flowing from the shower !! what a bunch of idiots !!, the customer service sucks , the product is not fit for purpose, DO NOT BUY THESE CRAP SHOWERS !! buy a different make of shower, these are absolutely rubbish !! you pay for what you get, note to customer service you pay peanuts and get monkeys !!

I am very happy with my new shower. It looks good and very easy to use.
My last Triton shower lasted for 26 years.

The shower works very well and your staff were very helpful when I phoned with a query.
