Ordered some spare parts for my Triton…
Ordered some spare parts for my Triton T80 Easyfit+ shower. Received the parts, one of them was faulty. I have tried calling customer services several times over several days and it always seems that I am the "9th in queue". I called a different department and the person I spoke to took my details to pass on, but after a whole day, I have not had a call back. I'm going to give it until the end of next week and then I will initiate a card chargeback on the payment due to faulty goods.

I bought a tritn shower in Jan 26, had it fitted by a plumber all was working fine till 27/jan 26, when it started leaking from the overflow, asked my plumber who fitted it to take a look, he did and said the prd valve was faulty needed a new one get in touch with triton its still under warranty they will send someone to fix it, did as he said got in touch, only to be told the part inside the shower was not covered by the warranty, but they would sell me the part for £9 and send an engineer to fit for a £100, I,m aboslutely disgusted in what they stated, SO PEOPLE BE WARY WHEN BUYING FROM TRITON parts in there showers are not covered by the rubbish warranty they sell with there showers.

The PRD is a safety device designed to relieve abnormal pressure from within the heater assembly of an electric shower when a restriction occurs on the shower outlet i.e. blocked showerhead, collapsed shower hose, Aftermarket shower heads and hose can cause PRDs to activate. Only use Triton branded product as replacement items
o If activated, it will be necessary to fit a new one
o You can identify whether a PRD has activated if water is leaking from a clear plastic tube or small plastic elbow in the unit.
o A replacement can be ordered from our online spare parts store or by calling 02476 372 222.

I had a tirton amber which kept leaking from the pressure relief valve even after replacing it. then in the last 2 years had 2 x triton enrich showers, the last one being a week old, both lost temperature control so you either get boiling hot or freezing cold, wouldnt recommend these to anyone looking

I can see that you have mentioned the pressure relief device in your previous shower kept activating. The pressure relief device is a safety device located within the shower which activates due to a build up of pressure within the unit most commonly caused by a blockage or restriction on the outlet. For instance, a blockage in the shower head or kink in the hose, a non Triton head and hose being used on the shower, limescale build up or something restricted the water when the shower is on. If this has been changed but has activated again, it is likely that the cause of the restriction is still present.
In regards to the shower units loosing temperature, this is not something we can diagnose without the components being checked but we would advise to ensure the correct head and hose are being used on the shower, it is being used on the correct setting for the time of year as per the guide and there are no droppages of water pressure and flow to the shower. Our showers do come with a 2 year guarantee so if still installed and all the above has been checked, we would look to offer for an engineer to attend under the terms of the guarantee to inspect the unit in situ and if a shower fault repair this for you under the guarantee or advise further based on the findings.

Terrible service and the warranty is basically 'don't take it out of the box'
Bought a shower for our bungalow renovation. All was fine, either perfectly. However 18 months later the central dial ( the temperature adjustment dial) became stiff to operate and would not alter the temperature when it was turned. Contacted customer services only to be told that because we had an alternative head on (replaced because my disabled wife can't cope with high pressure), not the one supplied, the warranty would not cover it. I can understand the issue if it caused an alteration in the outlet pressure and affected the sensors but this has worked perfectly for eighteen months and the issue is a disconnection between the dial and the workings inside. To say that it could have caused the issue we have is dodging the issue rather than finding a solution.
When I said to the lady that said the shower head affected the mechanics is like saying having a different air freshener in your car affecting your box. Then the person I was talking to hang up abruptly.
I'm glad they record phone calls, do do I, so any query or dispute over what was said is available to all.
Terrible service. Will never buy a Triton again.

PRD replacement on new style 3/aspirante shower
Been running 2 Triton showers in my house for more than 27 years.
Recently installed a new style 3/aspirante shower. A week ago I noticed water coming from the bottom of the shower.
From experience I know this usually means the PRD has activated. In the past I have simply removed facia and replaced the PRD which is located at the front of the outlet pipe. A simple 5 minute job. On this shower the PRD is located behind the outlet pipe. Even if I remove the screws securing the outlet pipe I cannot detach the outlet pipe and therefore cannot access the PRD.
Is this just a new design feature specifically designed to force people to pay Triton £125 just to have someone come out to replace a PRD? A job that was previous a 5 minute DIY job?

We are sorry to hear you are having a problem installing a new PRD in your unit. The PRD placement on showers do change depending on their design but I will certainly feed this back to our design team for future models.
We do send the instructions with the PRD for installation but do also offer the engineer visit for our customer's that may not want to replace this themselves.

Renewing my shower warranty
It was a simple transaction, I requested the extension of my shower cover one day beyond the date, but it was handled quickly and without fuss. Giving me the warranty I required.

impossible to contact !!
Paid over £1000 for shower and went wrong after 18 months. No lights on display. Tried ringing and was 8th in queue when down to 6th they hung up . Therefore had to ring back. Now 18Th 1111 clearly lots of faulty , very expensive showers !!! currently been waiting 45 minutes and still not at front of queue

Spare Parts
I phoned on the 14th of July and explained the problem I was having with the shower to a lovely lady on the phone. After about 5-10min she said we will send you the part that would fix the problem free of charge. At around 2:15pm the following day the part arrived and the problem solved. How about that for excellent service.

Triton ENlight heat repeat shower
Installed the latest triton ENlight with heat repeat, superb service from Triton, talked us through the system and how this paired with a waste water heat recovery system used to prewarm the water when entering the shower will save our customer money. highly recommended, no question was a problem and very helpful through the install.
