So much for durable and flexible
I used sugru to repair some shoes that had split on the soles and to replace how badly worn down the heel on them was. Made sure to lightly sandpaper the surface to key it, pressed the edges down to ensure it stuck and left it for a week before i dared touch it again - two weeks later both of the heel fixes have fallen off and the split has split through the sugru.
Yes it was super easy to use and yes the shoes felt fine whn I worse them. But it didn't last and now I have a few packs left that I don't really want to use, so I've wasted my money.

Sugru fixes to the upper and outer areas of shoes such as patching tears in fabric, or sealing small cracks work very well, but our experience with Sugru fixes to the soles of shoes are very much a mixed bag – the constant impact and abrasion often means these fixes are just not durable enough. I'm sorry if this comes as disappointing news!

I love Sugru
I love Sugru,
I tried to get it to stick to some high-gloss wood and it didn't stay on. Not the fault of the Sugru - I should have sanded the gloss off first.
I did stick it to my soap dish, to make little ridges so the soap would dry better. It worked great for that!
Now I'm going to make little loops on the sides of my computer screen. One will hold my (ever disappearing) pen, and the other will hold my equally elusive eye-glasses! :-)

I think this stuff is really cool
I think this stuff is really cool. It works just like they say it does. However, my only complaint is that it has only a year shelf life and they don't actually advertise that. I bought some of this thinking it looked cool but didn't have any specific reason to use it yet. A year later, I pulled it out and wanted to use it. All of it was useless. I was able to use a total of two of the 20+ packets that I bought. I later found in the FAQ that they talk about the shelf life and how to prolong it. Store it in the fridge or freezer. Wish I had known about that when I bought it.
Edit: I contacted Sugru about my problem with not knowing about the expiration. They were kind enough to send one replacement package. I promptly put it in the fridge. I'm giving one more star for their great customer support. I still don't like the short life span.

Good product!
Sugru actually works after fixing my phone charger. The only thing I didn't like is that it took a lot of my time to smoothen the mould where no visible marks are shown. The fact I paid $10 just for 3 sugrus is a little pricy for it's object, but overall it's a good product. I recommend it!

The product came with 4 packets... The first two were hard already..finally got something pliable out of the third...don't know if the fourth packet works or not....what a waste of money!

Love it!
Started using it on my computer cords and my son's cables and we love it! Wish we can choose any colour of our choice. Most of it are already packed in sets. Anyway, its great!

I used black Sugru to seal a water butt…
I used black Sugru to seal a water butt tap when I couldn't reach the nut on the inside.... it had fallen off. The Sugru has been strong enough to hold back the water and seal the tap unit

Jane de uitvindster denkt dat ze de wereld redt, maar ze helpt vooral zichzelf aan veel geld. Natuurlijk repareer je beter iets met Sugru dan het te moeten weggooien en daar is het prima geschikt voor.
MAAR deze firma vertikt het hardleers om je die ene Sugru te verkopen die je echt wilt, de groene, rode, grijze, zwarte of wat dan ook, 2 of 4 stuks. Nochthans is het eenvoudig, de gewenste kleur in een envelopje gratis opsturen en klaar. Maar nee, je moet absoluut 3 of 8 stuks kopen in een fancy pakje en de niet-gewenste of het teveel moet je dan maar wegkeilen. Dat weggooien gaat snel, binnen het jaar is het hard en onbruikbaar geworden en dan moet het maar de vuilbak in, heb er net meer dan 10 weggegooid en da's pijnlijk, voor het milieu en je portemonnee. En dan kan de firma weer een nieuw order voor teveel stuks binnenrijven, die ook weer de vuilbak in mogen. Gemiste kans, Jane.

Het spijt me heel te horen dat je niet de kans hebt gekregen om je Sugru te gebruiken! Sugru is 13 maanden houdbaar vanaf de datum van productie. Als u het vóór de vervaldatum gebruikt, gaat de uitgeharde Sugru voor altijd mee. U vindt altijd een houdbaarheidsdatum op de achterkant van elk folieverpakking voor eenmalig gebruik en op de buitenverpakking. Als je dingen graag voor een regenachtige dag wilt bewaren, kun je je Sugru in de koelkast bewaren en dit zal het aantal resterende maanden vermenigvuldigen om het maximaal 3 keer te gebruiken.
Met betrekking tot de kleuren die we aanbieden, onderzoekt ons team voortdurend welke pakketten en kleuren het populairst zijn en zijn altijd blij om feedback te ontvangen over wat we moeten bieden, ik geef uw opmerkingen door zodat we dit in de toekomst kunnen onthouden .
Ik begrijp dat het frustrerend kan zijn om te ontdekken dat uw Sugru is verlopen. Stuur ons een e-mail naar hello@sugru.com en we zullen dit voor u regelen. We kijken ernaar uit van u te horen.
