Just this month I have fixed the corner of an induction hob that had broken off ( saving me about £300 replacing it for my tenant) , and my dehumidifier (a little sensor inside had end broken off, now sugru'd). In the past I have fixed many other things including cables, solar panels for fairy lights to window frame etc

Mine never cured properly and was still soft after two days. On top of that , it's seriously overpriced at about £10 for just three small lumps

Fixed the shell of an outside rear view mirror. Used 4 packets to fill the missing areas. Cost $16 but saved over $200. It is expensive and once opened must be used so don't use for a small project unless it saves you more than the cost itself. Finished product it better than the original. Smooth with finger tips when applied for a great finish. Lasts several years if it remains unopened and refrigerated.

I've just been on to the Sugru UK website, having been using Sugru since it was launched. I even invested in the company it was so great - that didn't end well. Still continued buying it though. Until today.

I've been to the Sugru UK website & tried to buy a pack. Everything is sold out. They don't just tell you that though - you have to click on every option to find out it's all Sold Out. Maybe you could say that up front.

Then I read the reviews lately. Oh dear... Has something gone wrong at Sugru? I hope not.

used to work but the formula has changed I think. Used to cure really strong rubbery and usable in about an hour. Bought some a couple of days ago from a Robert dyas and it took two days to cure, but it also has no strength, just peels off or scrapes off under fingernails. this is now a useless product. Yes the product was in date; yes it was stored and used correctly; no I will not buy again and no I would no longer recommend.

I applied sugru on 2 of my keys 10+ years ago. I've used these keys probably thousands of times in total over those years and they've even travelled around the world, they've been very heavily used is what I'm saying.
I just noticed that the sugru on one of my keys has just started ripping TODAY. It made me realise what an amazing product it is and I had to find a place to write a review about it. The sugru on the other key is still perfectly intact.
I can't speak on the quality of the product now, but I can speak on my experience with it, and that experience has been amazing.

Hält nicht auf Gummi. Wollte eine kleine Stelle an meinen Kletterschuhen ausbessern. Hatte die Stelle gereinigt und dann das Sugru ca. 36 Stunden aushärten lassen. Hat dann bei Benutzung vielleicht 5 Minuten gehalten, bevor ich es rückstandslos wieder abziehen konnte.

Never used Sugru before. I bought a pack of the skin-friendly grey to repair some headphones. Three days later, in a warm place, I'm still waiting for it to show any signs that it is going to set, it is still just as pliable as when it came out of the pack. I contacted their customer service and got what appeared to be a stock answer because they didn't seem to have even read my email properly or addressed the problem. I'll never buy this stuff again, it's useless.

I have loved Sugru for years but now there is a another company running it and it has moved to Germany, so we'll have to see. Today there is a sale on some items. Sale? A saving of two pence, or even ONE penny just doesn't add up for me. Yes it can mend so many things - crockery, heavy cookware lids, water butts and so on but a big factor was always the sense of a friendly crowd of people up in Scotland actually making the stuff. I hope it is not going to change.

This product is complete rubbish! It went on ok, set ok, then within a couple days cured past the rubbery point to hard and brittle and split upon the slightest movement. I then had to scrape it off with a craft knife so I could use a glue gun! This time it was the red colour, but I've previously used brown and grey and they've set to exactly the same hard breakable consistency. It might be useful to fill a gap but not for bendy cable or even just a right angle joint which is what I wanted. It's expensive for what it is, and doesn't work as advertised. Be warned!

Just purchased some Grey Sugru but it is not Harding at all, it just stays pliable. Had some black a few years ago and it worked great.

Any advise please.

you didn't let everybody know that it does not last I used your product to fix a magnifying glass great put the rest of the product back in the foil pack and it went hard what a waste.

I love Sugru and use it for many different repairs. My latest was a new handle for my outside lantern which broke. You can't even tell:)) I am ordering more today because I have more things to repair. I absolutely love it and have been using it since it came on the market.

I love the idea of being able to fix more stuff than I ever could before. Some of my fixes worked well (e.g. charging cable, grip for calligraphy pen) but others only so-so (e.g. thingamajig that goes into the frigde door to keep bottles in place; the surface was too thin, I think, scissor protector; the scissor poked through, so I need to make it thicker). I would like to know how to keep unused sugru from hardening in the foil packet (I used a bull clip, but that didn't work). One gripe is that you send me too many promotional emails. I like the ideas for fixes, but two emails a month is the max I would want to receive. Overall, however, I'm a fan! Thanks for a truly innovative and fun product!

Worked like a charm! Used sugru to build a coating around the handles of small metal pots we use for cafe au lait. We used to have to use gloves to manage the pots with their hot liquids, but not now.

Love the product. Had a minor issue with one shipment, and they shipped all new product. Amazing service.

The moldable glue works as advertised, at least for my usage. I wanted this to fill in fine cracks forming in my car's dash and other plastic pieces. Luckily the grey color almost perfectly matched by car's interior color. Out of the package (pouch) the glue is soft and can be worked into small crevices. Working it back and forth across a surface starts breaking it up and the excess can be removed fairly easily, leaving glue within the crevices. The issue I had with this glue is that any remainder from an opened pouch can't be reused by the next day. It starts hardening (as expected) and becomes not so flexible (at least for my purpose). Wrapping the remainder within the pouch and enclosing it tightly in plastic wrap didn’t help. The instructions say to keep unopened pouches in the refrigerator, so I thought that cooling might stop the hardening of any opened remainders. It did not. So, the only gripe I have is that perhaps there should be a packaging option with smaller portions for smaller jobs. Otherwise this is a great product.

Great order experience and even better product. I'm beyond impressed with how easy it is to use and how durable the finished product is.

I have been using Sugru for years now and I love it. My mother in loaw keeps a few packets in her fridge so that I can do various hacks for her and my wife is almost constantly asking wich colours we have at the moment so that I can contribute sugru to various plkant and household hacks that are required. There is is quite literally not a single room ion our house without a sugru patch or fix somewhere...and most of my shoes also.
