First up, would give no stars. That would suit this operation.
Watch out for this company alongside Pockit, apparently one of their sister companies.
To be honest, I’m a cancer patient. And I have enough to deal with from day to day things without this. I needed some financial help, so borrowed from them. They played games straight away, tried to charge me twice, then played dumb.
I’ve now had an invoice saying that I owe them money. This is not right or fair, can’t believe they’re trading to be honest!
I would definitely avoid both companies at all costs.

We'd like to clarify one point regarding the relationship between Pockit and SteadyPay. Although SteadyPay works in partnership with Pockit, our credit facility is separate from a customer's Pockit account. This means that closing a Pockit account does not automatically settle or close an outstanding SteadyPay loan, and any outstanding balance with SteadyPay remains payable separately.
We appreciate that this distinction may not have been clear and understand how this could have caused confusion when your Pockit account was closed.
We are sorry again for the frustration this has caused and appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention.

The company do not communicate well at all
This company are awful if there is an outstanding balance.
I have emailed them multiple times giving an update on my current situation.
I have told them I had a bill of over £10,000 and needed a week or two to clear the balance in full. I have filled out their form to say this, emailed multiple different people and responded to every single email they have sent me.
The communications do not stop. They have said they are going to apply a default via post and email multiple times. They are reporting that I am missing payments and are actively ignoring the information I am sending. It is like I am talking to a brick wall.
I understand if people do not communicate, ask for more time or give a clear understandable explanation that this communication is essential however whenever I have done every single thing listed above it is beyond frustrating.
I would suggest avoiding this company as a result as it is adding stress to an already stressful time in my life.

This is my personal experience
This is my personal experience, I can evidence it, I wanted to put that out there before my review is inevitably removed. I urge people to dig deeper as negative reviews are overwhelmingly availble where it is harder to have them removed. Those reviews are, in my personal experience, more reliable.
My personal experience (again, I can supply evidence if this is denied).
I had an account with Pockit, which works with Steady Pay to supply credit products. I took multiple advances out over a few months m, each time, paid way before the due date.
I closed the Pockit account as it was actually negatively effecting my credit file/score due to being a loan. At the time of closing, I expected to have a way to pay the outstanding advance of £50, when this didn't present itself, I contacted Pockit, and I was told they had system issues and would let me know once these were solved. No such contact was made, I attempted to get a way to pay this advance, searching through both Steady Pay and Pockit's sites, and nothing, no one would supply me with a way to pay.
I eventually had an email from Steady Pay informing me that they didn't want to 'dent' my credit file with a late payment (laughable now). I explained the situation and they finally supplied me with a way to pay, I paid within 10 minutes of receiving that invoice.
They still put a late payment marker on my credit file. Suddenly they were uncontactable again and have ignored requests for this to be rectified. I am disabled and in the process of moving home and this is having an extremely negative effect on my ability to get things set up in my new property and I run a business that needs me to not have a negative marker like this so having a huge effect on my life, including my business which is my livelihood.
They have made it clear they could not care less and won't help me in any way.
I will be escalating to FOS regardless as the impact has been horrendous and just removing the marker is not going to be enough, even if they do eventually agree to do so.
They should be ashamed.
