I have used your spar store at broomhall worcester many times.
On 5 occasions when I have bought milk there it goes off within 48 hours. Sometimes the tops are off or pierced open.
I mention to the staff but in continues . Also without Checking the expiry date on the milk have found they have 24 hours left.
Surely they should be removed.

And most recently was handed 2 bottles of milk semi skimmed cravendale filtered which should have at least 10days expiry in it.
Not only was it handed over with 24 hours left on it but it was off.
I can't be bothered to keep complaining. Surely the staff should check the dates before selling it.

It is not acceptable especially when we gave a glass to our grandson who refused to drink and then we noticed it.
I can not be the only customer.

I have used store for years and prices are beyond a joke. The products look good are expensive and customer service from some staff is good and from others is rubbish. And as for management is non extinction they some rude to customer's which joke they supposed lead example and don't. So reason I will shop elsewhere and never use store again for poor service and inflated prices

Hi spar queslett rd very cluttered and to be honest always looks as if it needs a damn good clean and tidy I agree with all.the negative comments used to be a lovely place to shop but like most stores is not un by family anymore just a bunch of people who couldn't care less shame really ps bought a bottle of Fanta lemon turned out 2cyrs out of date

When trying to use "Evri" returns the assistant said the label code was invalid, & I had to print a label, but their printer wasn't working. I took the same parcel to a second shop where it scanned without issue, though the assistant there was "too busy" to fill in the receipt ticket, until I refused to leave without it! A third shop employed young girls completely devoid of manners! Clearly the staff issues at Spar are not limited to any particular store!
edit: When a complaint is sent to Spar they simply "forward" it to some other business, effectively saying "it's not our problem". How many customers know they aren't shopping with Spar!!!!

I have stopped shopping in my local Spar unless I only need one item and I’m desperate. The till prices are much higher than the shelf edge tickets on too many items . Offers are not passed on unless you pick them up on it. I feel really sorry for the pensioners and others who can’t go further afield they are getting ripped off daily.

1 st June i bought a 250g of Soar rice and when i got home realised it was underweight. It weighed 96g.
I did a review on here to warn others and eventually made contact with someone from Spar who wanted photos of the packaging. Then started asking for all the other details such as barcode, batch number etc. Sent him photos of everything. Now he says I have to send the package off for inspection. No way am I sending this away.
There are 2 reasons he wants me to send it. To prove that it is in fact underweight and unopened. Or to send them my evidence that I in fact ever had a bag of their underweight rice. Having read some of the other reviews, mostly very poor indeed I think it is to dispose of the evidence.

To say the SPAR is bad is a massive understatement, The drinks are way too expensive, I don’t want to pay £2.50 for a short small drink, these prices go up all the time by the way and ANYWHERE else is much cheaper, the workers clearly don’t enjoy working there as they all look so down and get all aggressive over little things.

This shop is just a complete waste of time, it’s easier to just go the extra walk to another shop

Unfriendly manager who seems to not treat her staff well! Would not shop here again because of this!

Went to the spar in Tyndall street Cardiff and realised after I got home that he scanned the toilet roll twice absolutely disgusting and it's really expensive too

Went to visit spar last week with my daughter and we both was assaulted in the carpark by a very aggressive woman. She hit my daughter and punched me 5 times, kicked me in the groin area and pulled my beard. As I don't hit women, u just pushed her away but the staff came out and automatically took the woman side because she was "female" and asked us to leave and told the woman to come inside. They didn't ask all of us to leave just my daughter and I. Pure sexual discriminate at it's best. As a male I must be the aggressor in the staff's eyes. I will never use that store again. They allowed the assault of a potential customer and I minor. Being a male does NOT justify being painted the aggressor. I will be making a formal complaint. They need to learn that sexism against men is not tolerated in this society.

Wow Expensive!, customer service leaves a lot to be desired, empty shelves( and the old line

My husband bought an electricity top up 20 pounds and gas 20 pounds yesterday.
According to my husband the gas top up there was an error but the teller took his pounds and gave a reciept without amount
I've noticed my husband kept looking the dashboard for electricity at home andbdaid it didn't come up.
I've told him it will come up straight away once you top up .
So I looked at his reciept and there is no amount means there is no purchase
We went to the shop and I was told by the manager that on their CCTV they handed back the 20 pounds to my husband as seen on CCTV
I've asked my husband and he said he have 40 pounds yesterday and the teller only gave back 20 pounds fir the gas because it won't go through
Then rhe manager gave me the reciept that there is no purchase from yesterday
Why it wasn't given yesterday
I think they have an error system in that shop and probably rhe stop needs more training
Very disorganised and the other teller said to involve the police
I was ripped off for 400 pounds from a plumber who asked for deposit and didn't turned up the job
We are not getting money from other people or to rhe businessman but wants to be honest
My husband is am honest person but he really told me that he didn't get the 20 pounds and he thought the purchase has gone through
I've lost my trust to the shop
I will not recommend my husband to purchase their again
Seems they are thinking their costumer had got dementia and my husband mind is clear and intact

Best customer service. Has a great variety of produce Some prices can be a little to much for some items. But that is the same anywhere ypu go now days But the customer services beats the coop by far! Love they got subway at back of store.

Not very often I use Spar, but just as well, as the rare occasions I have had the horror to enter this diabolical store, I have been left with a sense of anxiety and anger! My experience relates specifically to Spar in Blandford.
I have seen other Reviews refer to staff as being unprofessional, rude, ignorant, spaced-out or whatever. I suppose, my grievance also relates to that aspect of non-existent customer service! In particular in relation to Spar's contract with Yodel Parcel Delivery Service. The question that keeps pop up in my mind is this: if Spar Blandford, or and other branch of Spar, or Spar as a business, is not happy with its contractual obligation to Yodel by accepting the parcels from customers, I presume, in exchange for a remuneration of whatever agreed amount, why is it then that Spar continues with their contract with Yodel? And, most crucially, why is it that Spar, have accepted the financial remuneration given by Yodel, then behave in such unprofessional and crude manner towards Yodel customers. Is the intention then to destroy the customer- base for Yodel and create a reputational shame on Yodel, speeding up their demise from the market? Does this then nominally indicate a commercial sabotage aimed at Yodel, in a joint conspiracy with Yodel's competitors? All these are food for thoughts- Questions need to be asked and answered.
I have had 2 bad experience so far- Once my parcel was refused for no obvious reason. I then travelled some 20 miles to another Yodel agent in Bournemouth. It was accepted with no issues. On second occasion, the obnoxious woman (possibly a high ranking shop- older- woman- assistant) claimed that no parcels would be taken until later in the day!
No reason as to why and when? The biased assertion was clearly based on her limited and distorted view of the world that we, the people customers, live on Spar's door step and can pop-in and out at anytime just to catch her in a compromised mood when she would be ready to accept our parcels! As there is a 10mile return journey for some of us, decision was made to take business elsewhere, clearly.
So, Yodel's fault for allowing such diabolical people destroy their reputation. And shame on this joke of a business, pretend supermarket thingy called Spar, staffed by outerspace spaced-out creatures with huge antennas on their empty heads with no smile, compassion, mannerism or professionalism.

Constantly charging a high price than advertised on the shelf. Baschurch, Shrewsbury.

Absolute rip off. Visiting family in the area and couldn't believe how expensive it is. Employees seemed nice enough, but the manager (I think her name was Gwen) was so rude to a number of customers. Couldn't believe her disgusting attitude. Never, ever will I step inside that establishment again. And my family members that are local won't be either. Shameful

I went into Blandford market place spar. Asked the guy at the counter if I could please have someone else serve me. He said sure. Went towards the back and said to a colleague in front of a customer and said here’s the nutter from last time. That broke my shell and then became a nut. Especially when the old gentleman looked over towards me when Alex said the nutter from last time is here. I wasn’t a nut then. But I became a nut when you called me a nutter. You’re a disgusting disgrace. Even your own colleague Samuel said that didn’t need to be said. If it wasn’t for Samuel and the old gentleman it would’ve went down much worse this time. Sack that Alex before I activate my social medias and completely ruin your shop. You lot should be ashamed for keeping that scum in the position of power. Let Samuel tisbury or Samuel tilbury be the store leader. He was a gem 💎 that day. Thank you Samuel for all your kind service and decent hospitality. I appreciated that and appreciate you. Thank you ❤️🤍💙 but Alex you are a dirty filthy human. And what goes around comes around. Trust.

I bought Spar own brand baked beans - yuck - hardly any sauce at all and tge beans were so dry. Was really looking forward to my beans on toast - really disappointed. The Spar own brand "butter spread" isn't very nice either - tastes like plastic.
