Purchased a pair of trainer/boots in the Black Friday sale, confirmation email stated I would be sent an email when they had been dispatched so I tried chasing the company over a week later when I still hadn’t received an email saying they’d been dispatched, no one actually responded to my email but I did then shortly get an email on the 10th December stating they’d been dispatched. They didn’t arrive until 12th December which was two weeks later. They came up very small so I requested a return straight away and had to wait for the label to be sent. Meaning I could then send them back on the 20th of December, I have only just today received my refund 15/1/25. Yes it does state it will take 10-15 days to process a refund AFTER they have received it. But all round I think it’s appalling to take this long to deliver and then process a refund. Particularly when their shoes are expensive (come up small) and you’re holding onto people’s money for this long! Customer service is pretty much non existent - when I finally got a response it was useless! Would never shop with them again.

I was really happy with my Sorel snow boots! Okay, a bit expensive, but finally real snow shoes!
That was 5 years ago: in the meantime we have had exactly, well, let me round it up, 25 days with snow? On average 5 days a year I used them? And even if it were 10, now there is a big tear in the plastic of both shoes. They just tear!! So do I think it is worth the money? No, absolutely not!
Do I think Sorel is gonna say sorry? No. But if your expensive product is a big, big disappointment after all, at least I want everybody to know.

Dat is nu 5 jaar geleden: in de tussentijd hebben we welgeteld, nou, laat ik het naar boven afronden, 25 dagen met sneeuw gehad? Gemiddeld 5 dagen per jaar erop gelopen? En al waren het er 10, nu zit er een scheur in het plastic van beide schoenen. Ze scheuren gewoon!! Dus vind ik het het geld waard? Nee, absoluut niet!

I checked before buying from Sorel - the web says that Sorel items come up either true to size or large. As does the website on the shoe I purchased. I'm usually a 5.5 uk size, but knew I wanted to wear thick winter socks with the purchase so upped to a size 6. I didn't want to be flapping around in too large boots - but needed to get them on and off at least! WOMEN'S NAKISKA™ BOOTIE SLIPPER comes up so small on the opening ie the ankle area, that I cannot get them on easily at all, and I'm skinny! I cannot wear anything other than very slim socks so if you want to wear these booties inside or outside with anything other than a skinny sock/rights, then definitely size up a half or full size. I'm quite disappointed as have dreadfully bad circulation, despite all I do, and these would be so much more effective if I could wear thick socks - and certainly look a lot better. Also, they're only just big enough foot size-wise... not a true 6 I'd say, at all. I'd be very careful if ordering from abroad, as looking at the reviews here, it won't be easy to return. Hoping I can get the boots off later.. and that they stretch hugely as time goes by!

I ordered a pair of £200 boots which arrived defective and were returned immediately, which was hugely disappointing. Unfortunately, the issues didn’t stop there. My refund has yet to be processed, and they haven’t even acknowledged receipt of my return.

While the company makes good products, their operations are beyond terrible. I phoned customer service to chase up the status of my return, only to be told it takes two weeks to process—so the frustrating wait continues. The customer service experience was poor and unhelpful, prompting me to check their Trustpilot reviews. Unsurprisingly, it seems the vast majority of customers have faced similar issues, proving I’m not an edge case.

If you’re considering ordering from SOREL, be prepared for operational inefficiency and poor customer service. Avoid unless you’re willing to deal with the hassle.

I am so disappointed in them $120 and they’re way too big and I ordered my size, the fit very big I wish I knew this before I ordered them I called they said they could help me and then the minute they found out I’d worn them once they said nothing they can do.
The guy said he would get back to me an email to see what he could do, and he emails me and all he says is your case is closed, really great customer service- not…

I guess I wasted my money, I really thought SOREL was a great brand, but I was wrong.

I have to say that I have owned a pair of Sorel boots for about 10 years. My mother has had hers for about 20 years. Throughout that time they have done exactly what they said they would. Ie kept our feet warm in snow! If you wear them all day you have to dry out the linings overnight and that is the reason I have
not given 5 stars. I think they are fabulous boots. Seems the answer is to buy them from a real store rather than online.

I ordered boots for my daughters for Xmas and followed the guidelines for ordering 1/2 size down. Unfortunately the boots were too small and I have tried to return them. As more than 30 days has elapsed they are refusing the returns - while I understand this is company policy - this 30 day limit fell over the xmas period and as all other companies extend their return times, I would have expected a company like this one to do the same. There is no reason not to accept the returns (they are unworn, in their original packaging) and having read the other reviews on terrible customer service, sadly I have to agree. Not worth the stress of dealing with companies like this!

Update: I received an email that the investigation was completed and they determined my order was delivered to the right address but provided no evidence of that. Mind you, it was not my signature. Still will never order from Sorel again. Im glad I got my refund through other means.
I ordered 2 pair of boots that were on sale. They use a delivery service call OnTrac. Never heard of them. I received notice that my shoes were delivered but when I got home they were not there. I live in a 2 flat so it's possible they left them outside the door and they were taken. I call Sorel customer service to notify them I have not received my order although it says delivered. I also inform them that the signature that the delivery service had was not mine. Instead of saying they will reship or refund, they tell me they have to start an investigation and I'll receive and update every 5 days as the investigation can take 14 days. WTF! On the 5th day I had not heard from them so I call and request a refund. They tell me that can't refund my money until the investigation is done because they still need to know what happened to the shipment. That was not my problem. You should have taken that up with the shipping company and refunded me.Sorel lost a customer. I went thru my credit card company to get a refund. That was horrible customer service and I will not order from them again! I have at least 3 pair of their shoes before this happened but no more.

Ordered boots and email said they'd arrive within 4-5 business days. They hadn't even been shipped by that time and were showing as 'returned' when I logged into my account. Contacted seller to ask item to be cancelled and refunded but they refused and said they were on their way despite showing as returned on my account. So frustrating, I felt the call handler had no idea what she was talking about. Had to wait for boots to eventually arrive before I could return them. Have now had to chase for a refund despite them confirming they'd arrived at their warehouse mid December. Such a shame because their boots look great but would never buy from this company again - would recommend avoiding.

I feel like I need to write a review after reading all of the terrible reviews on here.
Ordered boots on 24/12 arrived today (31/12). Lovely boots, good sizing and really good service from start to finish. Had to contact customer services about the original tracking link not working and they responded in under 24 hours with a new link. All in all, very pleased with my purchase and service

I was unable to cancel an order I placed less than 24 hours ago (the item was not shipped yet), I was forced to receive the order and pay for $6 of return fee (on top of shipping) which I never heard of with other merchants. This brand is very coercing and aggressive in such way that basically does not allow customers to simply return items when sizes or designs are not as expected. Do not buy the items online. Try in store and purchase it only if you like them.I don’t know how long this policy which is in the brand’s interest only would help them last in the market.

I placed an order on 30 November. The order went through and payment was taken but it was never shipped (no tracking code received). I have rung multiple times and been told they are investigating or that it is with their superior. I am still waiting for my refund but nobody seems to be able to help.

Could not care less about customer service. Agnes Leslie and Stacie did nil about lost package. Just kept saying "They will come" Well they did not. Absolutely the worst company to order from. Credit Card people call this fraud. Still waiting. Kept blaming Purolator but would not do a thing or prove that they had indeed done what promised. Lazy lazy team leaders. And that is why their Customer Service is so terrible. These people are no leaders and it shows from top down

I ordered Caribous on Friday. Delivered on Tuesday, but sizes are too small, so I had to order new once since shoes are not exchangable.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I placed an order over a week ago, and it has yet to be dispatched. When I contacted customer service, I was informed that they are experiencing fulfilment delays due to a backlog from Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This issue was clearly foreseeable, and the company should have communicated it transparently on their website before accepting orders. Which is a breach of contract!

The boots I ordered will now arrive after my holiday, which is particularly frustrating as they were intended for the trip. Like many others who have left one-star reviews, I strongly recommend avoiding this company. I will also be reporting to trading standards

Literally everything could improve. They still haven't delivered from Black Friday. UPS cite a collection point that doesn't exist and keep delaying by a business day. Their staff member yelled at me when I called. I ordered three pairs for size so over £300 on my credit card. I will be short money now for Christmas. If I had known they used UPS, no order would have been placed. Absolutely atrocious customer service at Sorel and worst courier firm. Am sat in waiting for four days because can't register a safe place on a high value order. Courier knocks off my stuff, leaves gate open, trashes garden. Finally get the boots and they are cheap looking, NOT THE SIZE I ORDERED AFTER ALL THAT and the returns process is a nightmare. It's like you bought winter boots from a spendy brand thinking 'oooh, this is a treat for Christmas' and ended up at one of those Winter Wonderlands that is £35 for a fella in antlers and a drunk Santa. Except that would be funny. This is just DGAF from them. Avoid.

Wish I had read the reviews on here. 2 weeks since I placed the order and still no goods. Obviously I've been charged but nothing to show for it. Dreadful service.

Ordered a pair of boots and they were delivered to the wrong house. I have a ring doorbell and they still tried to tell me they were delivered. They wouldn’t give me a refund and the customer service is terrible. Save your money there’s much better alternatives to boots and customer service. BEWARE!! They will not refund you if a package gets delivered to the wrong house!

Placed my order on December 3rd, never heard back from them nor the UPS.
I keep writing them, asking why they didnt send the items, using the form on their website and nobody is replying.
No shipment, no refund, just nothing.
Shameee!!!
