Screamtime Arvostelua 

Attended Screamtime in Margam Park for the first time this year. Was a little disappointed to have to stand in a queue for 45 minutes before gaining entry. The experience was just right for me.. scary but not too scary! The highlight was going in Margam House. Very atmospheric and the actors were great! The whole experience could have been a little longer for the price we paid ! Would have loved to see some graveyards in the ground with ‘thriller’ like characters walking around. Now that would have been perfect in the grounds.
The worst part was the funfair outside the house playing loud pop music!! Killed the scary atmosphere dead! Why do this?? It could have been at the end of it needed to be there at all! Just not appropriate.
I would go again but only if I could be guaranteed new scary experiences!

Attended the Scream time event at Margam Castle. Thoroughly enjoyed it. There was an issue before hand as we booked the wrong place, after emailing the company, they changed the venue and communication was brilliant. Would have given it 5 stars but the event could have done with more actors on the walkway towards the exit. Overall though, a brilliant night out and can’t wait to go back in 2026

We attended scream time at Margam castle and thoroughly enjoyed. The castle experience was the best but from start to finish we were entertained and kept on our toes with the well acted out scenarios. Would definitely visit again. Only criticism would be it could have been a bit longer

Attended Margam park ( mid scare - early evening ) as a group of 2 adults and 2 eight year old and all had a great time .
If was one of the Best events we attended so far .
And this mid scare level ( early evening ) event was much scarier than Chepstow castle night time for adults only .

It was scary , it was fun , it was long enough and refreshments were good too :)

One negative thing was the wait to enter the trail , but we were separated from other groups nicely so could not see what’s coming .

Had a great time. Family loved the scares. Thought the castle section was a lot of fun.

Honestly don’t understand the negative reviews. We went to the over 18s at Margam castle and had such a good time. We screamed and laughed the entire time.
The tickets were quite pricey but I’d still go again.
I do think towards the end of the trail they could have provided more to keep the momentum until the end but I was all screamed out by then anyway.

We loved it. The staff were really helpful and the actors were great. We throughly enjoyed. The only negative was the waiting at the start. We think this was because we were the first for the scary session and they were clearing the younger session. We did not know why we were waiting and people kept going in front of us. We think the people going in front of us were in the VIP queue but it wasn't clearly separated. However, I would recommend as apart from the wait at the start the experience was brilliant.

We visited Margam Park and Castle Scream Time in October '25.
We didn't quite know exactly what to expect, as it was our first experience of this kind.
We absolutely loved it!
On entry to the outdoor walk, we were given a 'safe' word...we didn't need it...despite my screams, but we had tremendous fun listening to other visitors shouting it with intensity...often while running in the opposite direction.
The actors were decked in fantastic make-up and outfits and stayed in their creepy character the whole time. Which then helped create an eerie air of spookiness, adding to our whole experience.
The castle walk was set up in a creative way, making each corner and turn of the walk an experience filled with trepidation.
We honestly can't wait to book Scream Time at Margam Park and Castle for Autumn 2026.

I honestly can not fault our experience! It was a particularly rainy cold night but there was so many ghouls keeping in character whilst enduring the horrible weather. They all seemed to sense if I was a little scared and they remained friendly, yet creepy 😃 and wouldn't get too close.... others I welcomed their creepiness and sometimes a little chase 😂
It was excellent to have some food and drinks stations with a choice of fun fair rides. A welcome pit stop to laugh with my partner of the scary trail we just took before heading off for some more creepy fun. It was our second year visiting so I was pleasantly surprised to see that even the trail in the castle had changed so nothing felt the same as last year and was full of lots more surprises. Hats off to all the staff, security, food and drink stall, rides and especially to our ghouls who managed to scare even though they must have been soaked through and freezing cold. Amazing fun!!!!

Really enjoyed our experience!! It was our first time and we very much enjoyed! The actors were brilliant and did a brilliant job! Really look forward to going back. However I would love to see more scare actors in the castle and walking round.

Great fun experience hearing the other people screaming after getting scared. Little disappointed that there was kids still in the area for the adult time. It could have been Little more realistic and had people with chainsaws chasing and making the adults more scared in the Margam Castle

My friend and I had a wonderful experience at Margam for Halloween. The actors are all great and we especially liked walking through the rooms in the castle. We also thought it was a nice touch to have small performances on when waiting in the queue to enter the event. If I had one complaint, it would be that the tickets are quite expensive.

I thought it was well organised and the scares were really good and all the decorations were fab

We attended scream time at margam park, first time for us and had the best time! Can't wait to attend the next, couldn't fault anything from the actors to food vans to the whole set up 👌

Me and my partner had a really nice experience, we didn't know what to expect but it was a lovely evening out. My only feedback would be is that I thought it would be a bit scarier in some areas. However, I was impressed with how it was utilised in Margam Park.

Booked for Spookytime at Wentworth Woodhouse. Was supposed to be a fun adventure. Totally unsuitable with actors jumping about and shouting in children’s faces. Asked for a refund as not as advertised but rejected. An event to avoid.

Went to the Elvaston Castle one this year. Great sets, costumes and acting, just not enough of it! The experiences were good but very short. The "zombie maze" was particularly disappointing, unfortunately, with no maze-like element at all, just a quick walk through a linear path. I would also love to see them retire or find an alternative to the plastic spider webbing as it's very bad for the environment, it looked great in the trees but all I could think about was birds getting trapped in it. I hope they can do more next year if they get asked again.

amazing experience ! all the staff were super friendly and there was lots to do ! suitable for children too, safe to say we will be back :)

Worst experience ever! Completely over priced for a 15 minute experience. Have complained and asked for a refund and my son and his friends are being blamed! It’s absolutely disgusting charging children over £80 for a 15 minute experience! It needs to be shut down
