Order not handed over to the courier and no refund response

I placed an order through santafixie.co.uk, which appeared to be a UK-facing store. I later learned from the website’s legal information that the company is based in Spain.

On 11 August 2026, Santafixie emailed me stating that my order had been dispatched. However, the GLS tracking information showed that only a shipping label had been created and that the parcel had not been handed over to GLS by the sender.

I formally cancelled the order and requested a full refund. Santafixie sent an automated acknowledgement promising a response within 24 to 72 business hours, but that period passed without a substantive reply or confirmation of my refund.

Based on my experience, I would advise customers to check the company’s location, delivery arrangements and payment protection carefully before purchasing. I will update this review if Santafixie resolves the matter and issues the refund.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

I placed an order in June for a back wheel, after mine was stolen. ‘9-10 days’ it said the delivery would take.. weeks rolled by without any sign of my wheel. Whenever I emailed them to ask where the wheel was I just got an automated reply saying I would receive tracking info once shipped.
Eventually, weeks later I finally got ‘tracking info’ from gls. Apparently my wheel has been delivered, but it hasn’t.
Absolute joke of a company, I recommend you avoid this place entirely

As with other recent reviews, I place an order on 14 July and paid for priority delivery. I received no updates after a week so escalated and received a response that it was processing in their warehouse and will be dispatched soon. Another week passed with no progress, escalated again and received no response. They continue to avoid my communications and have raised a dispute for a refund with my CC provider. Please avoid!

Do not buy from this company. I ordered my parts well over a month ago. Despite the website saying it’ll be up to 8 working days they’re still not here a month later. Emailed them multiple times to ask for any guidance on when I’ll receive my order and all they said was “you’ll get an email when it’s sent”. I then got a email saying it had sent via gls (which will also be a 1 star review) saying it’ll be here my a certain date no later) but a week later I phoned the courier company to ask if they had my order and they said the order hasn’t even left the warehouse. Absolute shambles. Not expecting my order any time soon and I’ve been trying to get a refund but no contact. Absolute scam.

Really disappointed with this company. I ordered some items over three weeks ago and have messaged them twice asking for an update, but of course, they never reply. There’s no phone number to call either. I’m waiting for a part so I can finally finish the build, and it’s really frustrating to have to wait this long. I wouldn’t order anything from this company again.

This company withholds your money for ages and doesn't do what it promises to do.

I ordered some parts I needed for a trip I was going on. Santafixie's website promised at point of sale that I would receive these within "8-9 days". As those days ticked by, I emailed Santafixie twice to ask about dispatch, as it seemed increasingly unlikely they would get from Barcelona to me in the agreed time. Both times I was assured the parts were going to be packed and sent asap. They were not. (Unsure why it would take Santafixie so long to put 2 items in a box and have them collected by a courier but anyway...)

After 9 days had gone by and the items had not even been dispatched, let alone delivered as agreed, I emailed to ask if Santafixie actually had the items in stock. No reply.

I then noticed that the items were showing as out of stock on the website, so I asked again, and said I would have to cancel my order if no reply within 24 hours. No reply.

I formally cancelled my order and requested a refund within 3 working days. Santafixie cancelled the order and advised I'd receive a refund within 5 working days. No apology.

5 working days passed - no refund.

Apology provided when a Google review went public but on the day they had "scheduled" payment - no refund.

Over a week, and numerous unanswered chaser emails, later - refund finally provided.

Do yourself a favour - avoid this company at all costs.

Absolute joke. I have been waiting a month to the receive my order and still not arrived. I advice everyone to avoid them. This must be a scam.

Santa fixie now asking me to download a money transfer app persistently used by scammers to steal money and identity from people.

It is a bogus non company trying to defraud you at purchase and refund. Their stock is absolute crap, DO NOT BUY from them.

One star is too many.
Santafixie don’t appear to hold stock, the UK page is actually a business in Spain and you can expect long lead times on delivery.
But the real stinker is their non existent ability to respond to emails.
I ordered items and asked to cancel the order when it was apparent that they didn’t have the items in stock.
8 unanswered emails later (except for the automated emails telling me that they were ever so busy and the would reply in 24 to 72 hours-which they never do) I get an email telling me they’ve despatched the items I’ve been trying to cancel. I’ll have to return they to Spain at my expense.
Long story short avoid this business!
The prices look good but they are entirely hopeless.

I purchased items, and didn't hear anything for 11 days.
I was told they were about to send my items. I waited a few more days, items still not sent. Received an email saying we don't have them in stock, but they suggested a different item or money back. I said give me the other item then, they continued to not send the items and gave several misleading emails. I never received the items!!! TERRIBLE BUSINESS, DO NOT USE THEM. THEY ARE JUST DROPSHIPPERS

There is zero customer service. I bought some handlebars and and asked to return them - I emailed them, used the chat function, made a formal complaint - apart from one solitary email from them there was zero response.
They also copied me on a completely different customer email so no data privacy either.

I have been emailing the company to request a cancellation of my order for several days (which has not been shipped as of two and a half weeks after I placed it) and they have only sent identical automated messages saying “we are preparing your order” in response. Truly terrible customer services, if I don’t hear from them I am going to contact my bank and request a chargeback. Seriously, avoid.

Worst company. No communication. No product. Absolutely poor and disgusting.

Based on missing order and lack of accountable response (seems to just be an AI bot response) this seems to be a scam website/shop. I have sent my final request for an update 3 weeks after placing order and having my money taken, and if not resolved very soon will be taking formal action.

Wish I’d checked this page before placing my order. It’s been two weeks and they haven’t even dispatched my item yet. Customer service non existent - £200 out of pocket and no idea what’s going on now. Spare yourselves from this one.

I am writing this to warn other buyers about the customer service experience at Santafixie. While the items are good quality and the pricing is competitive, the lead times and customer support are absolutely terrible. It takes months for orders to arrive, and dealing with their team is a nightmare.

Regarding my current situation (Order #12000048579 placed on May 18, 2026): after weeks of delays, I agreed on June 1 to cancel three items worth £25.20 so the rest of the order could finally ship. On June 11, support confirmed the refund had been processed. It has now been two weeks since that confirmation—and over five weeks since they took my full payment—and the money has still not been returned to my account.

The customer service is disastrous. I sent a follow-up on June 23 and have received no answer. This is the last time I will be getting in touch with them; if this isn't resolved immediately, I will be starting a formal procedure for the lack of refund and fulfillment of my order.

Great products don't excuse withholding a customer's money and ignoring their emails. Proceed with caution.

Ordered 21st May WRONG item delivered on 12th June. No phone customer service - the number doesn't work. You can only email.

Taking too long for delivery. Have asked for refund - they’ve ignored me.

I ordered a 28 inch silver wheelset and 2 and a half weeks later received a 24 inch black wheelset. This is crazy! They also don't reply to their emails.

Disappointed to say the least, ordered a frame, took two week for them to tell me there was a manufacturer issue, gls shipping was an absolute joke, “real time shipping” is a lie, frame turned up with unfinished work, all fender mount holes still had the waste material attached, and there was no seat clamp bolt included, all n all if you can avoid using SANTAFIXIE do that, best of luck
