I bought a 2021 E-Coupe from Prestige Cars in June last year. I used all of my savings and bought it with great excitement because it was like a dream car for me.

I did not test drive the car before buying it. The salesman, who I believe was called Charlie, was very reassuring and I trusted him. I only properly saw the car at the time of delivery, and at first everything seemed fine because I was so excited to own it.

However, after I got home, I started noticing several serious issues. The bonnet was misaligned with visible gaps, the paint was coming off, and all four wheel arches appeared to have been badly fitted and not secured properly. It looked as though the car had previously been in an accident and then poorly repaired, despite it not being recorded as any insurance category.

When I went back to Prestige Cars and raised these concerns, I was told that the car had been sold to me at a low price, as if that somehow justified the condition. After that, I sent multiple complaint emails, texts, and made phone calls, but I received little to no response. I also never received the V5 logbook and had to apply for one myself through the DVLA.

The car has major structural and cosmetic issues, and I now feel completely trapped. I had hoped to move on and buy a house, but when I tried to sell the car, I realised I could not get a fair value because of the condition it was sold to me in. I feel I was misled and sold a badly repaired vehicle without proper disclosure.

This situation has cost me a huge amount of money, stress, and time, and I honestly do not know where else to turn now.

I Recently purchased a £30,000 car and it arrived in terrible condition. Items from previous owner including rubbish and no vallet. I have been asked to get quotes and fix this myself.
Car arrived with one key (damaged).
Visible marks on the exterior and scratched alloys that they claim must have happened on delivery.
Trying to resolve these issues and no one is getting back in touch, certainly not prestige.

Had a great experience with Sam, the customer service was fantastic and was able to test drive the car - recommend to anyone looking buy. Car was really high quality - would purchase again!

Let me start with if I could give this car dealership 0 ratings I would it’s run very unprofessional.
the owners are con artists and will manipulate you into thinking the car is perfect little do you know the car is barely road legal never any v5 present as you can see from all the bad reviews this dealership does not own any cars they are a middle man once they receive the money from a finance company to BUY YOUR CAR FOR YOU they do not care what the car looks like as long as it’s signed over into your hands everyone trust the reviews

Enquired about a Mercedes glb on their website and was put onto Bradley via WhatsApp on the 18th march.
Rushed into putting the reservation deposit down to secure the vehicle which cost £249. And hit me straight away with signing a finance agreement to which I stupidly agreed.
A little after this I asked for the registration plate so I could check the insurance and find a quote ready to pick up Saturday the 28th. I was told the car had recently come off a private plate and was given the original reg plate for references, however when i checked only the private reg plate was coming up on the gov website and insurance companies. I questioned Bradley on this and he said to keep checking over the next few days to which I did.
After 5 days I checked on the gov website and no v5 had even been issued for the original plate to be put on so it was clear Bradley was lying about the private plate recently coming off.
I asked him if he had the logbook for the private reg at least so I could change over to my private after collection, to which he said no he doesn’t. I opted to cancel going ahead with the process of buying this car due to no logbook for a private plate and of course the original plate. Bradley argued this and said i can go to the post office when I collect the vehicle to apply for a v62. I stated Buying a 26 grand car why should I as a customer have to do this? I shut this down immediately and said I will not be taking the car whatsoever.
I the called the finance company and they said the dealership need to cancel the finance themselves to pay back the money to them and it’s now 2 weeks later and they have not paid the finance company back which means i am still tied into a finance agreement for a car I do not own. When I bought this up to Bradley he gave me an email for the finance and payments side of the company, to which I emailed them and they said they don’t deal with this and that Bradley himself deals with it. I tried to contact Bradley on WhatsApp and with no suprise I am being ignored.
I’ve been pushed from pillar to post with this company to have a finance agreement settled, they are scammers and are only interested in taking your money and completely wasting your time. I have never felt so stressed buying a car in my life.
And to add, this company like to use voice notes via WhatsApp maybe to cover up screenshots of their lies & ill salesmanship.
Please also check their tiktok page and watch how they boast about the commission and money they make, this is clearly from them robbing genuine people.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! WORST SERVICE POSSIBLE!! CAR WILL HAVE PROBLEMS WITH IT!!

Arrival of car was disgraceful and not what you would expect from a business and the after sales is an absolute joke and so rude

Messaging about the car was fine and they sorted delivery but as soon as the car arrived there was scratches on the alloys and scratches on the car it was also chipped in places!

Auxiliary battery malfunction light came on when they were delivering it which needed replaced and they wouldn’t let me book it in a garage they done it and took it to the cheapest garage about, no care.

Lifted the bonnet up and there was snapped plastic around the battery cover.

They only gave me one car key which was never mentioned prior to the car arriving.

They also put wrong size tyres on the car they put 215s on when they should be 225s

Tracking was off.

They didn’t even have a logbook or v5 slip, very concerning again none of this was mentioned before the car arrived.

Absolute disgrace from delivery of the car onwards

Had problems with the car since which they take days to reply to messages and don’t answer calls either and when they do they are rude claiming they booked me in and I asked when and they refer back to when they booked the auxiliary battery malfunction which was complete different problem this was for the tracking.

When they do claim they have then booked me in for the tracking to be sorted I go to the garage and they tell me there has been no booking and haven’t got anything down on their side! Luckily that garage fitted me in but I had to pay and now prestige are refusing to pay me for this!

Wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy absolute disgrace!!

On my visit to AL Prestige, unfortunately I blew a tyre outside their premises. The staff came out and helped me to get back on the road, even before they knew I was a potential customer.
They made the purchase of my car a very easy and pleasant experience.
The vehicle needed a MOT, which their mechanics carried out there & then, and they delivered the car to me (20 miles away) on the same day.
Absolutely fantastic customer service...I can't say enough good things about them.

Watch-out. On the face of it, a reasonable car supplier BUT...
- the salesman did not understand the position re luxury car tax on the vehicle I purchased
- the standard guarantee/warrantee is capped at a very low £ level, making it virtually worthless,
- the 'free AA cover' is also very limited making it virtually worthless.
- the 'service' on the car I purchased comprised just an oil filter change
- after 3 emails to them asking for the promised copy of the HPI check there has been no reply.

If you decide to purchase from 'Prestige Cars' remember, buyer beware, and in my experience, do not expect a 'prestige' service.

Wouldn’t even bother enquiring about any vehicle tried purchasing a vehicle for about a week no progress at all waste of time !

We bought our first electric car from Charlie and Elliott. The process was very easy, Charlie sorted everything as agreed and managed to get the car ready very quickly for us. There was a small issue with the trim in the boot but Elliott sorted it no problem and no hassle. I would definitely recommend Prestige, great deals and 5 star service 👌
