Brillliant lessons, great instructor, really fun and tailored to my needs

A beautiful and addictive experience! I never thought I’d start learning pole dancing; until one day I attended a taster session just to kill time. And I can tell that’s the best accident that’s ever happened to me. The instructors are so encouraging and professional that you wanna keep coming back just to see your insecurities vanish with each pose.

I had a taster class, and it was a lot of fun! Everyone was very welcoming and the instructor was very nice and asked me how I'm doing many times! I will go again!

I've been going to pole twisters for about 10 months now and I love it, all of the instructors are great and I've learnt so much since I started. It's a very friendly environment for anyone who's considering starting pole dance.

Everyone is super friendly and encouraging towards all levels - Shout out to Kendra especially who is an outstanding coach. Her dedication does not go unnoticed and she will invest so much time in you until you nail a move. She is a credit to pole twisters!

I've loved doing stage 1, it's a great way to get fit and improve strength while having fun, and Kendra has been a great teacher :) Will definitely be signing up for stage 2!

I’ve had a few private lessons here and absolutely love it! A complete beginner so i was nervous but the owner/teacher is lovely and i felt comfortable really quickly.

Lisa is also great at getting back to any of my questions really quickly re bookings or just general questions about what we’ve learnt in lessons which is really helpful when we hire the studio to practice between lessons.

Lots of fun and definitely recommend to anyone! Excited to keep learning!

Really friendly instructors that make you feel at comfortable. They explain things well with demonstrations and give help and feedback throughout the class. The instructors are great at working with individuals progress within lessons particularly in the mixed classes which can seem daunting to attend but made really friendly and at ease

We undertook a 2 hour charity stream and approached pole twisters to host this for us. We were beginners at pole and the instructor we had was amazing. Guided us through what we needed to do and took it at a great pace. She was very friendly and very knowledgeable. Dealing with pole twisters to set this up was easy and they were very accommodating. Would highly recommended to anyone!

I did the beginner taster class and I really liked it, there are 6 poles so it's really an intimate place where there is no judgement and only people trying their best. The teacher was helping and encouraging each of us which felt reassuring. I am definitely going back there.

If you want to support a business that doesn't care about its customers feelings, safety and privacy then this is the place for you. The owner first started to annoy me when she'd leave me countless voice messages on Whatsapp which I find unprofessional and annoying and asked on numerous occasions to be contacted via email instead, but this only happened once I called them out on a GDPR breach. I was added to a whatsapp group which revealed my personal mobile numbers to countless students I didn't know and when I mentioned it I was removed from the group and then had a snarky comment made about me (I had friends left in the group that told me). This doesn't remove my information. And then I was sent an email telling me that I couldn't be part of the discussion because I wasn't willing to communicate via whatsapp. It was incredibly passive aggressive and rude.

Finally, they are also anti-vaxers and willingly advertise this through their business which disgusts me. They constantly cancel your bookings last minute as a member because they know they can make more money grom party bookings and I don't think they treat their fantastic teachers with any respect at all. In conclusion I will no longer be giving them my money and neither should you.

If your like hypocritical, unhygienic, and snide businesses then this is the place for you!

They have no concept of GDPR and think it’s okay to show personal information with other members and sending rude messages also. Just so you know, deleting a WhatsApp group is not enough to rectify this! They make back handed apologies, take zero accountability, and try to blame stuff on the members.

Let’s not forget about when they cancel classes because they can’t be bothered to put the poles back up and claim they can’t get anyone in, or when arriving at pole hires the poles aren’t even up because they don’t know what time we’re coming? Honestly? Get it together.

They also don’t know anything about safety and think it’s okay to teach inverting to people after five weeks, even if they had never touched a pole before in the lives! The course structures are all over the place.

The ONLY good thing about this studio is the fantastic instructors, that they’ve somehow not convinced to quit and go teach at another studio. Danielle W and Danielle K are so absolutely amazing teachers and beyond talented pole dancers, they have made learning pole so much fun and I’ve taken a lot away from their sessions.

I’m looking forward to continuing my pole journey at another studio

Can’t believe this place is still open. Absolutely filthy- towels have not been washed since I started going there again just after it reopened. Is so dirty it actually stinks out the whole bottom floor.

The owners cannot do the dances they teach, and are so passive aggressive and rude in tone. I have counted over 30 class cancellations since April (it is now July). When you ask them about this they come up with a lie, when the reality is they can make more money from renting out to hen parties so will cancel your cheaper classes last minute.

Sometimes you will get to the studio and the poles won’t be up, or the speakers won’t work, or it’s filthy (well, it’s always filthy). You’re more than welcome to use all the expired beauty products in the bathroom though!

edit in response to their reply: “ for several months members had no problem with booking studio hires & classes running as scheduled. We can only apologise for the previous two weeks, the increase in bookings meant a lot of pressure on our small two man operation” this has been happening for way longer than two weeks- this has been months and months and I’ve heard from other members this is common. Also, since my review I’m aware there has been a GDPR breach of private information too which is another reason membership has gone down.

I’m aware you’re a two person operation by the fact nearly all communication is WhatsApp voice clips whilst eating dinner or running errands, but you do hire a lot of teachers.

Also the expired beauty products- I wasn’t talking about the sanitary products (a lot of which I actually put in there myself as I had too many), I mean old expired perfume, expired roll on deodorant, open baby wipes etc.

You may have 5 star reviews on here but this isn’t the case on other websites, and some reviews even say ‘5 stars because I own this business’? You also offer a cash/credit incentive for reviews, so naturally there’ll be more positive ones, but at this rate I don’t believe that’ll be the case for long.

Also, the towel issue wasn’t to do with the ones in the studio itself but the bathroom- there is/was no blue roll available to use and the towel was BLACK from blue because of the filth. You did not chuck that one, a customer did because it made them wretch.

Took part in the Stage 1 course and had a brilliant time. Everyone is so lovely and helpful, I would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to try!
