Stay away from this place!! 0rdered a t/c for 4l60e, simple right. NOT! Got wrong one. Told me I gave wrong info. They listened to recordings and I was right. Sent another one. Like a lot of car restorations don’t use right away, so when installed I had no movement. Remove trans and check out. Wrong converter! Sent a 298 and mine is a 300. Called and explained what happened and they only cared to tell me out of warranty. They screwed up twice and I get screwed. Then when asked for a little help ,offered 5% off new order. STAY AWAY!!

My son has an auto repair shop. Over a month ago my son had ordered a transmission for a customer. It was sent back when the customer decided he did not want it. My son used my credit card to purchase this transmission and it was returned over a month ago, I am still waiting for a credit on my card. He has tried several times to contact the company and no answer from them. I guess my next step is small claims court. My advice is do not do business with this company.

I ordered a 6L80E Quick ship performance was told by Frankie it was ready to ship and will be here at the dealership in 5 business days waited 7 days with no tracking information then tried to reach out for an update and had no response after calling multiple time and leaving a voice mail. Then reached out to his leadership department and spoke to Claire and was told to email her if I had any other issues so upon receiving the transmission I had a question and emailed her with no response. 24 hours later i called another department and spoke to Brandy and explained what I had going on and was told it was my fault I didnt order it right even thought it was there sales person Frankie that made the order over the phone not me. After asking if I can return it Brandy then said the customer needs to call and ask that not me even thought I am the one who verbally agreed on the payment and am the employee at the dealership who ordered it and had it shipped to. Till this day 17 days later I still have not been able to get in contact with them after emailing and leaving voice mails. Third time using them and now the last time using them. Terrible customer service.

If i could give zero stars i would. do not buy from them. this was the WORST service i have ever received. i ordered a transmission from here smoothly, after my order was placed i was told i would receive an email when it shipped. never got a single email. i called probably 30 times trying to get an update on my order, when i finally got through to someone, they told me that 4 weeks after my order was placed, they hadn't even started it because "they thought i ordered the wrong one for my truck." they did not reach out ONCE telling me my part may be wrong. (it wasn't wrong) and considering how much money i spent, that's just plain horrible.
after that they finally processed my order and shipped it, still never got a call, email, nothing. i did receive my order.
online it also says you must return your core. i am still (2 months later) fighting with them trying to get the information i need to ship the core. now i'm to the point that i will not be returning it because of their TERRIBLE service

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I ordered my transmission from them a month ago. Now I am very well aware that sometimes these products take long in assembly/testing. This is understandable and reasonable. But what has infuriated me is the fact that this company places zero emphasis on customer service. Throughout the entire process, I have had to be the one to reach out and get updates on the status of my order. Most of the time that I tried to get on the phone with someone, no one answered. If I did manage to get on the phone with them, the people who could help me were never available. They were never able to give me a transparent status update, and they always deferred to reaching out to me by email later on which they NEVER did. Honestly their efforts have been nothing short of pathetic.

Dealing with them was such a pain in the neck that I cancelled my order with them. It's also safe to say that getting the refund has been just as much a headache. I think I've called their status order team like thirty times, and they've only answered a handful of times. But the richest part of it all is that if you select to speak with a rep to make a new order they answer right away. They want your money not your business.

Nothing but a scam organization. Defective parts and transmissions. No customer service.No returned phone calls. When you finally get through and talk to a rep.they pass the buck and give you the run around.Cowards and theives.

Monster Transmission review. DON’T USE THEM and here’s why:
Resto Build on a 68 Mercury Cougar included a 4R70W ordered from Monster Transmission to pair with a 2017 Coyote, order #557098. All information was provided to Monster when ordered and the cost was $3653.43.
The 1st transmission had to be returned because Monster configured it for a late-model vehicle, not built based on the information provided to them. I incurred additional labor charges and shop supplies totaling $490 and a 5-week delay in build time, they covered shipping. Monster build caused the failure.
2nd transmission order #563268, blew with less than 20 miles driven on it. The diagnosis according to them was electronics failure, burnt direct drum and clutches, and internal slipping. They replaced the electronics, the frictions, and steels in the direct drum, and the frictions and steels inside the intermediates. They paid partial labor of $360 and shipping. My additional cost included the remaining labor, towing, and shop supplies of $270 plus a 4-week delay in the build. Monster build caused the failure.
3rd transmission order #564890 was returned because the car would not stay in gear when coming to a stop. Their original response was that we didn’t order the proper transmission to handle the horsepower output. The 2nd generation Coyote puts out 435hp and with not having a catalytic converter it could possibly put out an extra 15hp bringing it to 450hp, if lucky. The 4r70W, according to Monster Transmission, can handle up to 550hp which is why it was selected. At this point, they were reluctant to tell me why the second transmission failed. I was constantly emailing and placing phone calls to try and get the answer and finally, their warranty dept customer service representative (another story in itself) stated that they were going to upgrade the transmission to an SS, 600hp. They covered the shipping but I was extremely disappointed in their handling, I had to pay for the labor and shop supplies of $490 and a 6-week delay in the build. They said they Dyno tested this transmission (just like all the others) upon its return and found nothing.
4th transmission order #567404. With only 55 miles on the transmission the front pump bushing seal tore and dumped fluid going down the road. Followed the warranty procedures once again by taking pictures and providing a small description of what happened. Waited a couple of weeks without any word back, so again I had to hound them for an answer. The reply I finally received was that according to their lead technician, they wanted to ship it back again and that I was responsible for the shipping along with everything else. They continued with “From the description of the issue, it sounded like the front pump seal was damaged during the installation, which would be considered an installer error.” As this was the 4th transmission and a long time span, I went to a local shop specializing in transmissions and they found that “the front pump bushing had spun and walked out far enough to cut the front seal. It is possible that bushing wasn’t staked completely.” So why should I have to pay again? Labor, parts, towing, and shop supplies (fluids) to repair is costing me another $1600.
I’ve requested to speak to management on several occasions with no response and when trying to speak with someone in the warranty dept they tell you to text or email them. They ghost you hoping that you will go away or continue to pay extra for their screwups. Having this many issues speaks to their incompetence in building a transmission! Their customer service (when you get to speak with someone) shows a lack of ownership and accountability in their product. Their WOWanty as they call it is a joke, they should be responsible for their mistakes to include all additional costs involved! I even offered to bring the transmissions back to them as I only live two hours away and they refused, saying they were under construction and didn’t have room.
Their pre-recorded message on the phone while you wait to talk to someone before being put through to voicemail says, “We are building relationships.” My question is with who, not with the car clubs or with the little guy doing their own build. This has been the worst company to work with in doing the rebuild! I understand that some things happen, but 4 builds and it’s still NOT CORRECT, that should be embarrassing!
So, now you have been warned before purchasing a new transmission. If you use Monster Transmission you can only blame yourself! If you want to enjoy your car, I suggest finding an alternate option as you will save money, time, and AGGRAVATION!
The grand total in cost is $6503.43 for a $3653.43 transmission without a warranty. Total of time lost, invaluable!

Junk. Look up Auto Auction Rebuilds on YouTube on some real world experience w their garbage products and horrible customer support. Your mileage may vary.

Terrible....customer service would not call me to return a part that was clearly their mistake. It has been over a month and no one has called. To top things off the customer service rep hung up on me saying she was disconnecting my call. Avoid customer service or lack thereof.

Did not tell us we would need a different flywheel and then they did not even sell the flywheel trying to get our core back to them was a super big headache also. Their customer service is terrible and trying to get a hold of them to get someone to answer The phone is terrible.

The Transmission I paid for $2200 worth of junk. I didn’t have time to build it myself when I put this in my vehicle. I made it 500 miles out of town and the transmission went out. I got home I called them. They said that I would have to pay to send it to them and they would pay the shipping to send it back. I told the unit apart and found out it was total fraud. They did not even put in one single new upgrade that they claim they put in, the Monster shell for the reaction shell on the 4L60 E Transmission. do not fall for what I did. They are a total scam.

The only thing they were quick about was taking my money took 9 weeks to get the transmission back then go to program and Chevrolet says they installed wrong module then I call them for 4 days about the issue no response finally I get someone to tell me that they didn't replace it and it's not warranty 8000 dollar transmission doesn't work

Worst company ever. Thieves, liars and they are cowards. Want to know more just read the reviews everywhere. All true from my experience. How they have not been charged with crimes is beyond me.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM MONSTER TRANSMISSION. Bought a tranny has been installed properly with flushes lines and new coolers. Failed after less than 5000 miles. Clutch 3 and 4. They "fix it" under warranty and it failed again after less than 100 miles. They have sent back the stall converter not cleaned and not flushed. They probably just quick re installed a clutch 3 and 4.
Again do not do business with them.

Sent the wrong bushing in the kit one bushing (.02 oversize) and will not replace it.They can keep ass monkey as a sales man. This is a $1,000 kit I would expect more from them.

Do not buy from them.

Trans would not go into overdrive. Did diagnostics with Monster tech support over phone. Was sent a form to have independent shop inspect unit and verify defect.
after verification I had to remove unit AND PAY to ship it back to them. It was properly packed in a shipping container and sent out.
When unit was returned, it came in a black plastic garbage bag with 1 old strap holding it down on a broken skid. Installed unit and now it would not shift at all. Went through all the diagnostics again with MT.
It needed to be sent back on MY DIME again. Had to argue with them and finally they split the cost (whoopie doo) .I sent it packed in a shipping box once again. Got it back in a trash bag tied down on a skid. It seems to be working till the present time.
My warranty is long expired so now I can leave an honest review.
The warranty is not worth the paper it is written on.
When you factor in the addition to the purchase price of the unit.
1)shipping unit back to them twice 360.00
2)Trans fluid 24 qts (2 cases) I could 150.00
3)having car towed to trans shop for 415.00
verification (round trip)
4) Mechanics diagnostic fee 125.00
So it cost me approx $1050.00 MORE on top of the purchase price. I could have gotten and Art Carr unit or better yet a Gear vendors Overdrive for less.
All the Google reviews mysteriously disappeared for this company. And if you really dig deep you find it seem to change "ownership" with other different named companies thus affecting reviews,
They were quick to say I did not purchase a unit from them. hence I added my order #
So in short Do you want to pay for a mail order unit and take a roll of the dice with any warranty issues?
IMO Unless you host a TV show and promote this companys product. you mean nothing to them.
If can make even ONE potential customer think about this and not buy from Monster and save them from aggravation, this review was well woth it.

In my Opinion, DO NOT TRUST MONSTER TRANSMISSION DUE TO DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICE that I EXPERIENCED.

After thorough discussion of spec details, etc, I placed an order and paid for a "build your core" $2k option advertised for a 4L80E HD transmission re-man of my core. Some hour or so later, I get contacted that I will have to pay an additional $1200 to have converter upgraded to handle the specs equivalent to a GMC 3500 truck. This information is in conflict with what they advertised and communicated to make the sale.
Seems like the old "bait and switch" is still alive and well in the Monster Transmission world of doing business! DO NOT TRUST THEIR ADVERTISING NOR SALES STAFF!!!!!

I requested to cancel my order and requested a refund unless they will honor their advertising. They first communicated that a manger would be contacting me. A few days later when I followed up, they communicated a refund will be processed. I have yet to receive any communication from a responsible manager.

If they do not promptly process the refund then I will contact my credit card company to reverse the charges due to their unwillingness to cooperate, which, as I understand, is a consumer right by law if the business is in excess of 50 miles away.

I plan to also file complaint with the Federal Trade Commission for their "deceptive business practice", which is the term to trigger potential legal implications.

Have been looking for a new transmission for a few weeks and found this company. Enquired about a trans and within a two-week period I have been given 3 separate quotes with three much different prices. No one here knows what the heck is going on and every time it's one thing or another. I truly don't think the staff here knows what they are talking about and at this point I would rather take my business elsewhere. This company scares the crap out of me to spend that kind of money for something that will likely not even work and with the reviews they have they will even more likely not even stand behind the product. I'm sorry but this company is one of the worst and sketchy companies out there. Beware of this one for sure and do your homework.
