Reman Transmission Arvostelua 

I purchased a transmission for my 2017 Suburban LT. The transmission arrived two weeks later at my dealership. The transmission was installed, beware you have to replace the oil cooler per their instructions or no warranty. The level 3 tech took it for a test drive and failed due to issues in 4th and 5th gear. I ordered a replacement, this is where it goes south, they sent the replacement but would take care of the bill to install on the bad transmission. So at the end I had to pay for two transmissions to be installed, software updates for two transmissions. Instead of my bill being around 2,500, I had to pay 5,000 dollars. Reman sent me a faulty transmission but wouldn't pay the Car Dealer service department for their mistake. Now you know too.

Worst customer service ever. They never answer any of your questions and are a nightmare to work with. I put the first transmission in back in November. Well needless to say it failed me. Just today I called the shop where putting the new transmission in and you sent the wrong shit. Very pissed off at reeman and I'm starting to think you guys cant do anything right. I had to call the Ohio attorney General since reeman cant do their job at all correctly. All of your reviews are bad. Do your self a favor and avoid this worthless company at all costs. You will be hearing more from the Ohio attorney General again. Do your damn job and get it right the first time. Very pissed off customer......

I ordered a transmission 3 weeks ago. A week after I ordered it they reached out asking for photos of my drivers license which I obliged. I understand that there are scammers out there. A few weeks later I called to see where the transmission is and if it had shipped. They said they couldn’t give me any information on it until likely the following week. I asked to speak to a manager and they placed me on hold for 25 minutes and a person answered the phone and acted like they couldn’t hear me and hung up on me. I called back and they had zero record of my previous phone call and no notes in my account about who I had spoken to. I once again asked to speak to a manager. The manager told me there is nothing they can do. The transmission still had not shipped and if I wanted to cancel it that it would be a 10% fee. I asked why there would be a fee when nothing has shipped or moved. I would understand if they were remanufacturing a transmission to order, but we are talking about putting a tranny on a pallet and shipping it out. She said it was for credit card processing, which is absolute nonsense. No credit card processing costs anywhere near 10%. If this was any indication of their customer service I would rather cancel the transaction before it shipped than to try and deal with them after receiving the transmission if I had a real problem. Completely unprofessional and downright rude at points.

Alfred Talyansky et al.) for a variety of fraudulent activities under the Deceptive Trade Practices Act (WIS. STAT. § 100.18). This business is a fraud. They do not remanufacture anything, the resell used transmissions of dubious origin.

In doing my due diligence I found the court cases, owners information, phony mail drop and several active lawsuits. I have not done business with them nor will I. When the price is half the competition, something is fishy and indeed, a pattern of deception and fraud is what I found.

I suggest you steer clear as I will.

Don't Do It! Reman Transmission is absolutely the worst company to work with. I ordered a transmission it was shipped is it was defective throwing codes. They sent out another through their so-called warranty dept. it was defective as well. So now that I have paid a mechanic to R & R both transmissions, they will not stand behind reimbursement policy for the labor it took to install and uninstall the defective units. Joseph says check was in the mail for five months! Don't believe a word he says! Now it's time to see them in court. Yes a check was sent out for the reimbursements of original transmission purchased. NO Labor check has been received. I was asked to email them the labor invoices three times. I have email's from Reman company stating the labor checks have not been sent out for total of $2,490.90 One for the 1st R & R trans dated 09/24/25 the 2nd R & R trans11/14/25. Joseph in your office said, warranty sent Reman a credit to put on my card and then he said a check would have to be sent out. You people really need to get it together.

Bait and switch, be consistent with your pricing, not a good feeling, so we will continue with the provider we have, no savings, just bs

This company is a scam I placed my order for a reman transmission and then a day later they called me to say it wasn't available and not in stock and unsure when they would have another of the same one I purchased. But then tried to sell me a used one with no core return and they wanted more money for that one and it would've only been 1 year warranty instead of the 3 year warranty my original order had. And the transmission i purchased is still up on the website and doesn't say put of stock or any notice.

The absolute worst company to deal with! They sent me a transmission that was faulty and wouldn't go into first gear or reverse. I had already paid to have this transmission installed and got to pay for them to reinstall a second one because they sent me junk parts. They now are expecting me to essentially cover this cost as their resolution was to only give me $340 (which no place in this world would install a transmission for that much) when the cost was over $2000. Not to mention the fact that this was a work vehicle and I was out of a vehicle for even longer to go through all of their processes and warranties to then intern only receive chump change back. This is ridiculous and when trying to reach out to customer service we received terrible service and rude employees that were unwilling to help us. I would not recommend ANYONE to use this terrible company. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!!

I had a positive experience with reman-transmission.com. The site made it easy to find and order the right remanufactured transmission, and the customer service team was knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. Shipping was fast and the unit was well-packaged. So far the transmission is performing as expected. The warranty coverage also gives good peace of mind. Overall, a straightforward way to get a quality reman transmission.

Delivery dates were pushed back without notice. I had to call several times to get updates and the story was always changing, it was production, it wasn't in production.

Horrible company! They are transmission brokers…THEY DO NOT REBUILD TRANSMISSIONS…a scam marketing company!
The first transmission failed after 512 miles. They sent a replacement, it never made it out of the shop, it was bad when they sent it. I was waiting for a month for transmission #3, which never came. I took the POS to an actual rebuilder & they solved the problem. I’m out $3600 in labor costs for the first two failures & $5800 to actually rebuild the 3rd transmission.
RUN AWAY FROM THIS SCAM AS FAST AS YOU CAN

Every detail was explained to me and all tasks done on my 6-speed manual tranny plus clutch,pressure plate and throw out bearing was completed as they had advised me on. I would highly recommend them and there honest work to anyone.The office staff was very helpful thru-out my repair.

Transmission lasted about a 1000 miles they did send me a replacement but I'm still out 34 quarts of fluid and my labor I been in business for 12 years these transmission builder's paint you a pretty picture to sell you but do not back up what they tell you but it's okay I buy but around 5 to 8 transmission a week but I'm done with reman transmission power trane has best warranty no comparison and they supply the fluid and pay your labor with out a problem have a good day

Great work, customer service was easy to.work with, they answered all my questions. The trucking company was very helpful in delivering to a residential location with a lift gate.

I bought a transmission from them and the whole process was a joke. I first could not get an answer from anyone in the company on the programming needed for it (comes in to play later). After install the transmission had no reverse. After multiple conversions with many different people the technician over the phone said something is wrong inside. She concluded that the warranty department would be notified and will handle everything. I then never heard from anyone and tried to contact them about the issue. I was then told nothing was concluded on the issue and they were unaware. More phone calls back and forth and they then said it was programming issue. That was not true. Now i am being told i have to pay freight and no refund on labor time. WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS COMPANY!

This has been the worst experience I have ever had with any company whatsoever. I originally scheduled the core return to be picked up on 11/03. Took off work and waited all day. No one showed. They then tried to reschedule the delivery for a day I was working (did not care what I told them on the email). Scheduled a second pick up on 11/20, was scheduled to pickup between 0630-1430. At 1500 no one had showed, I had to leave and the delivery driver called me at 1600. I finally had to demand a drop off location as I was not going to wait another day off of work. They ended up charging me an extra $1000 for the core because they failed to pick up and now even though they have the transmission (returned to them on 12/10, this is 12/19)
