I've bought a couple of things from Madrigal and ordered another. The yarn is lovely and the dyer has a great eye for colour. Best of all though, the customer service is amazing, I have found response time to enquiries both by e-mail and Facebook super quick and very helpful. And my orders have arrived in a timely fashion.

Madrigal sells the type of yarn that is a dream to work with. Soft, squishy and yet has the robustness to tolerate being knit up, and then frogged, and re-knit when I realise I've mucked the pattern up.
The colours are stunning, deep and lush. He instinctively knows what shades work together for the kits and fades. How he does this is beyond me.
Eddie, please keep up your yarn wizardry, I love it!

I first came across Madrigal Yarns at a yarn show and was completely taken in by the fabulous range of colours - Eddie’s stand was a feast for the eyes! He had a huge range to look at - with many samples to show what the different colourways looked like when knitted up. The various kits were all beautiful and so very soft. Choosing just one to buy was difficult. I bought a D’Orsay shawl kit and enjoyed knitting every stitch - I wear it at some stage nearly every day - it’s next-to-skin soft. Eddie was super helpful on the day and at all other times when I’ve been in contact - I cannot recommend this inspiring and beautiful yarn highly enough. I will be going back again and again. (And I'm a very fussy yarnaholic!)

Eddie creates the most exquisite yarns. His bases are the most luxurious to work with and the colour range is fantastic. I’ve made so many items with Madrigal Yarns and get complimented on my Vacationer Shawl regularly, one of Eddie’s many creations - of which it is difficult to choose between.

Yarnival subscription has been a joy to be part of and have enjoyed making socks with the colourways. Very excited for advent this year, last year was a gorgeous exclusive sweater with the most delicious colours, so can’t wait to get my hands on this year.

Supporting indie businesses is more important than ever, and I really recommend purchasing from Madrigal Yarns. I’ve been buying from MY for years. Other than my friends indie shop, Eddie and Madrigal are my go to places for beautiful quality yarn. The fact that Eddie is the nicest human too is an added bonus!!
