Not impressed at all
Today I received a letter from LSH saying I had not paid my annual service charge and if I did not pay right away and another reminder was needed I would be charged a further £150.00 administration charge. To say the least I am not impressed as I paid the service charge mid December 2025.
I called and was asked to provide evidence of the payment which I duly provided.
Kirsty Hamer from the credit control department has dealt efficiently and quickly with this issue and confirmed that LSH in fact did receive my payment in December and my account does have a zero balance.
No explanation or apology given?

So disrespectful and inefficient!
I am not sure whether the reviews that I am reading on LSH website are genuine or not. But I am, and I think this is the only place where the Management may give notice to my frustration with their company. After 5 months of me moving out of my previous house where LHS is the management agent of the communal area, the credit control team is still writing to me demanding that I should opt in for email communication so they can deliver my service charge this way. I have notified this company several times via various means (through my solicitor, my emails and telephone conversation to them, in particular, to the credit control) asking them to consult with their conveyancing team for the status of my property and update their record accordingly. I asked them to confirm to me the action they have taken to remedy this but I heard nothing from them. I continued to receive invoice or letter from them. Worse so, the letters that they are sending are so patronising using the word "demand". There is no professionalism at all in their communication that made me feel valued as a customer. At one point, I asked to speak to the boss to air my concern but nobody dared to call me. This just showed lack of respect, demeanour and professionalism from the staff working for the company and how inefficient the company is in general! There doesn't seem to be a communication taking place between their conveyancing team and the credit control team to update their customers' record. I heard from other former neighbours that they had the same experienced so nothing has surprised them. No word to express how disappointing I am in dealing with this company and I am very pleased to be out of the estate where they manage so they can not continue to bully me forever, although they are still trying!

She was so helpful and understanding and was able to sort out my outstanding bill and was so kind and reassuring to me. Great service and happy everything is now back on track.

He has proactively walked through things we should be thinking about and has made us feel supported before the contract has even begun. That level of care, communication, and professionalism says a lot about how he runs his business.
I’ve worked with other companies before and while we had a contractor, with HLM we feel like we now have a trusted partner. If the service before the service is this exceptional, I’m very confident we made the right decision with HLM.
