Absolutely painful experience
Absolutely painful experience. It's like they try and make it as extremely frustrating as they can. I was awarded a £50 voucher from work, went online and redeemed it. I tried to swap it for a Boots gift card but I could only find it as a physical gift card to order. Ordered that, took a few days to come. I opened the card and had to create a love2shop account to redeem an existing voucher code I have (that was a pain to find as its not clear at all where to go to redeem the number on the card). Once I done that, I entered the code and the funds were then transferred into that account. I then clicked "spend" which opened a page with around 25 retailers on, none of them were Boots. After clicking around some more I noticed a link which produced a pdf list of retailers to spend it with, Boots and many other retailers were listed, but there was nowhere for me to click to go ahead with that. After a really annoying 15 minutes of trying to get a Boots code I gave up and just used the "transfer to a virtual card" option. After going through all that, I then tried to use the virtual card on the Boots basket I had ready. What a surprise, it doesn't work. I then go back to love2shop and find another pdf link which opens another list which shows Boots cannot be used via the virtual card. I have no idea how such a simple task can be made this difficult. Voucher went straight in the bin. If you are considering this as a gift for someone, I hope you don't like them, because they sure as hell won't like you after this.

Unfortunately, Boots does not currently accept Love2shop cards for online transactions. However, Love2shop cards can be used at Boots in-store.

Mixed feelings about the service
I like the fact of a personal service.But in reality the email was not sent, I phoned and was told they would resend, but it still took approx 36 hours to get to it's source. I am reusing the service again, hope it works better than last time

Essentially a minor scam
I was forced into getting a Love2Shop card as the result of "saving" using the Park Xmas Savings system. Actually registering for the account, using the app and getting your card proved quite a faff, not least because the fingerprint logon option didn't seem to work. And when you get to the end of the process you find ... there's a small fee to pay when you actually translate your Love2Shop card into a gift card.

The product ordered is selected by the customer during the ordering process, and orders can also be amended at any time before they are dispatched. Regarding the issue you experienced with biometric/fingerprint login, we’d be happy to investigate this further. We have requested some additional information from you so that we can look into what happened.
In relation to the fee when exchanging a Love2shop gift card for another gift card, we appreciate that this may not have been expected. The applicable fee is shown as part of the exchange process. If you have received a digital Love2shop gift card, you may also be able to add it to your Apple Pay or Google Pay wallet and use it directly with participating retailers, without needing to exchange it for another gift card.

One of the most broken websites ever!
Tried placing an order for a gift card multiple times, it didn't support my Mastercard (first time I have ever had this issue), and when using PayPal the payments were always declined (again not had this issue anywhere else). When I tried to leave a support request to delete my account that form also failed with an issue. By far one of the worst websites I have ever used and in this instance has resulted in a lost sale and a lost customer. Will not be using again, will be using One4All instead!

I am really unhappy with this app I haven't been able to use my many vouchers I have got for my birthday or Christmas because it's to hard to activate or to spend them. And when I tried to ask for help just website froze wouldnt even let me email them. This has happend alot now. Very unhappy with customers service won't even let me email them or make a complaint. Thanks a lot I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy.

Our cards use credit card technology, and unfortunately, retailers are not generally set up to accept part-payments across multiple cards when shopping online. This means that the balance on a single card would need to cover the full value of the online transaction, as you would be unable to pay the remaining balance using another card.
