So far I’ve been very happy with Lift. I’ve been able to get answers to questions via text, email, and even talked directly with someone regarding the different efoils. I just purchased the Laird model after having the Lift5 Cruiser to start. Great product!

Jumps from 4mph to 14mph
The controller came missing one of the sliders for the hand strap. Also buttons are hard to push. More importantly the speed control was exactly the same as the elite model that jumps from 4mph to 14mph when going from level 5 to level 6

Hi Daniel, we can easily get you a tensioner for your hand controller. And sorry to hear about the throttle control. The trigger actuation on both controllers are tuned the same. We've designed the trigger to be similar to a gas pedal, you want to be able to feather the trigger while riding. The governor setting on the remote increases the amount of thrust. It's like dropping a bigger engine in your car or opening the throttle, more power=more speed. It's about finding that awesome midpoint.
I'm about 210 lbs. and I keep my setting at 7 to 8 depending on battery life. I find this the best setting for me to be able to control my speed while giving me enough thrust to stay on foil.

I am a repeat customer
I am a repeat customer. My battery died right after the warranty expired. The battery is $4000.
I was disappointed because my big trip was coming up. I called and they said they would ship a new one right out.
I emailed them and they confirmed. After dropping $4000 I did not hear from them for days. I contacted them again. They said all the batteries are I. The Netherlands. I was frustrated. They offered no help and were rude and cold in their emails. They offered me nothing for a dead battery after only a few uses. And once I paid $4000, they ghosted me and couldn’t care less. Terrible company. Do not buy from them. There are other companies that are cheaper and better quality. The batteries die quickly and you end up spending $4000 to replace. Everything is over priced, Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere or you’ll end up like me. Stuck with a product that cost $4000 every year and terrible uncaring customer service .

The people and communications were amazing. I do want to say that the battery was very very, very pricey and and unfortunately, I do understand the actual price of these batteries, which is nowhere close to the retail. I would assume you guys will adjust accordingly to make consumer demands and compete with competitors that weren’t on the market when you first started.

It took four business days for Lift to respond to the request form I filled out online. I left my cell phone number when I completed the form. Four days for a product as expensive as a Lift is very disappointing.

Hi Doug, thank you for sharing with the community. We know that our foil side of the business has been a bit behind but we are quickly recovering ground with new wings like the Vario, and update on our HA line.
We've also got some exciting developments for 2027 and have started to improve our site with more information on wings.

Ready to fly in 5
I can’t imagine taking 30 minutes to set up and tear down my E foil before and after a ride.
I can offload my e-foil get it put together have it at the beach walk back to my car grab my battery plug it in pair my remote all within 5 minutes with no exaggeration.
Without the battery, my Lift 5 Sport is very light and easy to Carry. I prefer to walk back to my car to grab the battery and off I go.
The breakdown is just as simple, easy and fast. This is my first e-foil and I’m not sure that I would’ve purchased an e-foil if I had to go through what I’ve seen other people deal with as far as set up and tear down.
As far as ease of riding and stability, I think it’s awesome.
