I’ve owned three offshore jackets over the years and the Gill OS1 sold here is the best at this price point. Wore it through a rough passage overnight on Chesapeake in October and it sustained rain and 20 knot gusts.

Shipping was quick, faster than estimated.

Still not sure if this is a scam site or not.
Tried to put in a order but was notified they would only charge my card $3
I was then to contact my credit card company and confirm the charge then contact Defender again.

Ordered on Amazon instead and the item was cheaper with lower cost shipping.

I buy regularly from Fort Nine with no issues that are a pita to deal with

Return service was very professional, but product itself was so harsh on beard. They offered to send the sensitive blades, but I doubt that would have helped.

How is it I have purchase over US 1000 worth of goods, now I'm been blocked from there websites, what's that all about, don't they want my business

I had trouble submitting my order, the site was slow to update and move through the sections and into the checkout. It took me 3 times and being on a strong Wifi before it went through.

the selection of parts is very good. the website works well. but you charge too much for shipping and as commercial/professional account you do not offer much discount. A bigger discount and lower shipping costs would get me to order a lot more.

My order status has been list as “Shipped” for days but I have not been provided a tracking number. Poor communication.

I had to cancel my order because of some weird debit card thing they tried to pull. Placed my order and then got an email wanting to hit my card for 3 dollars before they would place the order. Concerned me about the security of this transaction and I can only hope nothing nefarious happens now that they have my card info.

Always been pleased with Defender’s service and selection of products.
