Let's Drive Arvostelua 

Esperienza davvero molto negativa con il noleggio auto a Rodi.
Avevo una prenotazione con ritiro previsto alle 11:30. Per una combinazione tra un mio errore sull’orario e il ritardo del volo sono arrivato al punto d’incontro alle 13:30, quindi esattamente 2 ore dopo.
Le condizioni della mia prenotazione prevedevano però una tolleranza fino a 2 ore, quindi alle 13:30 ero presente entro il limite indicato.
Il problema è che alle 13:30 l’addetto del noleggio non era al punto d’incontro e neanche rispondeva nessuno al telefono. Sono riuscito a trovarlo fuori dal terminal solamente circa 40 minuti dopo.
A quel punto, nonostante avessi insistito più volte e spiegato la situazione, l’addetto si è rifiutato di farmi salire sul van per raggiungere l’autonoleggio.
Mi sono quindi ritrovato a dover raggiungere la sede a piedi, perché i taxi non volevano effettuare una corsa così breve. Parliamo di una distanza di circa 5 minuti in auto, ma quasi mezz’ora a piedi, oltretutto lungo un tratto che ho trovato molto pericoloso, in prossimità/parte di una strada a scorrimento veloce. Una situazione veramente spiacevole, soprattutto dopo essere appena arrivato da un volo e con i bagagli.
Una volta raggiunto l’autonoleggio, la situazione è diventata ancora più assurda: la mia prenotazione originale era stata considerata cancellata/no-show, ma la stessa compagnia mi ha proposto nuovamente la stessa macchina a circa il doppio del prezzo.
A quel punto, trovandomi a Rodi senza auto e senza una soluzione alternativa immediata, per necessità e disperazione ho accettato comunque, pagando una cifra molto più alta.
Ricapitolando: ero presente entro le 2 ore di tolleranza previste dalle condizioni, l’addetto è arrivato circa 40 minuti dopo, si è rifiutato di accompagnarmi con il van alla sede costringendomi a raggiungerla a piedi lungo un percorso che ho trovato pericoloso, e alla fine la stessa auto mi è stata riproposta dalla stessa compagnia a circa il doppio del prezzo.
Ho presentato reclamo e richiesto il rimborso della prenotazione originale.
Per quella che è stata la mia esperienza personale, non posso assolutamente consigliare questo servizio. Una gestione del cliente che ho trovato estremamente deludente dall’inizio alla fine.

sconsiglio questa compagnia. A Naxos ci hanno dato una Toyota AYGO con 66.000 km ma in condizioni pietose:
convergenza delle ruote completamente andata, l'auto tirava tutto a destra, spazzole tergicristallo dell'antiguerra, liquido lavavetri assente, presa USB non funzionante, auto sporca...

**Unexpected €40 charge despite booking explicitly being for 22:00**

We booked and prepaid a rental car for collection at Let's Drive, Chania Airport, at **22:00**.

The booking voucher clearly showed the supplier's regular opening hours ending at **21:58**, with 21:59–23:59 marked as “Out of Hours service times”. More importantly, the voucher stated:

“**All mandatory fees are included in the price shown**”

and specifically listed the **Out of Hours Fee** among those mandatory fees.

Nevertheless, when we arrived at approximately 22:20, we were required to pay an additional **€40 out-of-hours fee** before collecting the car ... THAT MORE THAN THE COMPLETE CAR HIRE FOR A WEEK !!!

I have no objection to a clearly disclosed late-hours fee. What I object to is booking a 22:00 collection, being told that mandatory fees are included, paying the quoted price in full, and then being charged another €40 at the desk.

The additional charge doubled the effective cost of what had appeared to be a very inexpensive rental.

And neither was I alone in experiencing this (a couple and their kids had the same) and the the service personal complained about many customers being angry towards them on a evening basis ... go figure !!

My advice: DONT BOOK Let's Drive

Sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung..Vorsicht bei der Abholung!

Wir hatten unseren Mietwagen über Check24 gebucht und bereits ein Paket inklusive Vollkaskoversicherung und den entsprechenden Zusatzversicherungen abgeschlossen.
Bei der Abholung bei „Let’s Drive“ wurde unsere bereits gebuchte Versicherung jedoch nicht so akzeptiert, wie wir es erwartet hatten. Uns wurde außerdem gesagt, dass die Kaution mit unserer Kreditkarte nicht hinterlegt werden könne.
Das Merkwürdige daran: Sobald wir die zusätzliche Versicherung direkt bei Let’s Drive nehmen sollten, war unsere Karte plötzlich kein Problem mehr und konnte verwendet werden.
Für uns entstand dadurch leider der Eindruck, dass wir vor Ort dazu gedrängt werden sollten, noch einmal eine zusätzliche Versicherung abzuschließen, obwohl wir über Check24 bereits entsprechend versichert waren.
Auch eine Stornierung mit vollständiger Rückerstattung war vor Ort laut Aussage nicht möglich. Somit standen wir praktisch vor der Wahl, zusätzlich zu bezahlen oder Geld für eine Buchung zu verlieren, die wir so nicht nutzen konnten.
Wir sind von dieser Vorgehensweise sehr enttäuscht und würden hier nicht noch einmal ein Fahrzeug mieten. Ich empfehle anderen Kunden dringend, vor der Buchung genau zu klären, welche Kreditkarten für die Kaution akzeptiert werden und ob vor Ort zusätzliche Versicherungen verlangt werden.

Très mauvaise expérience – 232,15 € payés et aucun véhicule

Très mauvaise expérience avec DiscoverCars.com et son partenaire Let's Drive.

J’avais réservé et payé 232,15 € pour une voiture en Crète, pour la période du 15 au 22 août 2026, auprès du loueur Lets Drive.

À mon arrivée, le véhicule m’a été refusé car je ne disposais que d’une carte bancaire de débit et non d’une carte de crédit. Je reconnais que cette condition figurait dans les conditions de location, même si je ne l’avais pas remarquée au moment de la réservation.

Le problème est surtout que j’ai payé 232,15 € à DiscoverCars.com et que je n’ai finalement obtenu aucun véhicule. J’ai donc été contrainte de louer en urgence une autre voiture chez Hertz afin de pouvoir continuer mon séjour, avec des frais supplémentaires à ma charge.

J’ai contacté DiscoverCars.com pour demander le remboursement. À ce jour, 0 € ne m’a été remboursé. Leur propre réponse confirme que ma réservation était bien confirmée, que 232,15 € ont été payés et qu’aucun remboursement n’a été effectué.

Je demande simplement que mon dossier soit réellement examiné par leur service compétent et que les 232,15 € soient remboursés, puisque je n’ai pas pu bénéficier du véhicule réservé.

Je trouve particulièrement décevant qu'après avoir payé une réservation auprès d'une plateforme comme DiscoverCars.com, le client se retrouve sans véhicule sur place et doive ensuite se battre pour obtenir le remboursement.

Pour ma part, je déconseille fortement DiscoverCars.com et son partenaire Let's Drive tant que cette situation n'est pas résolue.

Je déconseille fortement cette agence (Lets drive, aéroport de Tirana). Arnaque assurée. Quand j'ai refusé de prendre leur assurance, vu que j'avais pris une full omnium via la plateforme de location et que j'ai exigé de bloquer le montant indiqué sur ma réservation, la situation a dégénéré. Étrangement ma carte de crédit ne passait pas (aucun essai ou tentative, confirmé par ma banque). Refus du dépôt de la garantie en cash. Donc étant avec plusieurs enfants, ayant payé près de 600EUR pour cette location et négocié pendant 2 heures, je n'ai pas eu d'autres choix que de repayer 20EUR/jour de location(cette fois-ci en cash çà passe!) pour avoir un véhicule déplorable. De plus ils ont accepté de bloquer la garantie sur une carte de banque classique!!! Alors ils vont baratiner que c'est pas de leur faute, qu'il y a des problèmes avec les banques européennes ou autre chose, blabla...., mensonges. Toutes les excuses sont bonnes pour arnaquer les touristes !!!! Bref comme premier contact à votre arrivée en Albanie vous êtes dépités !!! Fuyez s’il est encore temps.

Verbrecher, Auto wird einem vor Ort auf Corfu nur gegen Zusatzversicherung ausgehändigt, da die abgeschlossene evt, nicht zahlen würde. Check24 Mietwagen macht bei dem Spiel mit und erstattet nicht, trotzdem die Leistung nicht in Anspruch genommen wurde.

I just renter a car from Let’s Drive in Tirana.
The service were very good. The car nice and there were no problems at all.

I had booked a 5-seater can via VIPcars with Let’s Drive being the supplier. They gave me a 4-seater car. It was massively inconvenient for the trip as we were a group of 5.
It has been over a month and I am yet to receive any compensation.

My experience with this car rental company was extremely disappointing.

When I collected the vehicle, my credit card was declined twice. I later found out that the issue was not with my card itself, but with the way the payment was being processed. As a result, I was told that I had no choice but to purchase their insurance.

The insurance was presented as costing **€100**, which is also the amount shown on my final invoice. However, when I later contacted customer service to dispute my charges, they suddenly claimed that the insurance cost **€138.69**, contradicting both the invoice and what I was told at the rental desk.

I also paid a prepayment online when I made my reservation. This prepayment was not deducted from the final amount I paid. Instead of addressing this issue, customer service provided an explanation that does not match either my booking confirmation or my invoice and has still not refunded the missing amount.

To make matters worse, the vehicle I received was old, in poor condition, and far below my expectations.

Overall, I felt misled by the pricing, pressured into buying additional insurance, and left without a satisfactory resolution despite contacting customer service. I would strongly recommend checking every charge carefully and keeping all booking confirmations and invoices before renting from this company.

Gewoon schandalig door een gewone typefout mijn auto ophalen was onmogelijk ondanks gemodificeerde voucher en bevestiging van de holidaycars dat gewoon een typefout was heb ik 400€ verloren.Gewoon nooit bij deze leverancier uw auto huren zij gaan altijd iets vinden om mensen te stelen

Mon compagnon a réservé un véhicule avec cette agence en ligne à l’aéroport de Chania. Le prix était de 181 euros. Arrivés sur place, ils ont refusé sa carte de débit avec laquelle il avait payé l'acompte de 30 euros, exigeant une carte de crédit que je possède. Ils ont refusé le paiement avec ma carte de crédit sous prétexte qu’il ne s’agissait pas de la sienne, et ont exigé que l’on paye 384 euros pour pouvoir disposer du véhicule. Tres désagréable pour couronner le tout. Nous sommes partis ailleurs et avons perdus 30 euros. À fuir !!!

Είναι απατεώνες μάκρια .Πληρώσαμε για 3 μέρες και μας κρατήσανε άλλα 120 ευρω με το ζόρι για ασφαλιστική κάλυψη ..ΜΑΚΡΙΑ

People are not nice, they don't want to help, don't go near them, there is a shuttle from the airport, you have to wait on the road in the sun without any sign or directions for about half an hour, then they tell you you are late, not recommended at all

We rented the car in Tirana Airport, Albania, from Lets Drive.
Everything was ok. The car was in a very good condition, clean and comfortable. No problem with returning the car outside opening hours. I fully recommend.

Sconsiglio questo fornitore noleggio auto a Santorini in quanto ci hanno fatto pagare un danno di 266€ ( leggera screpolatura sulla finitura in plastica dello sportello) non fatto da noi....elenco l'accaduto: auto presa alle 23.30 con una torcia la ragazza ha scritto i danni nel suo foglio,noi purtroppo pensavamo di aver fatto un video invece la mattina ci siamo resi conto di non aver registrato nulla..A quel punto direttamente dal parcheggio dell'hotel con la luce del sole abbiamo fatto foto dei danni e un video parziale, abbiamo inviato solo le foto su whatsapp ci hanno risposto che era tutto ok...alla riconsegna una sola addetta al checkout e al check-in fila di clienti, noi che non parliamo inglese, la ragazza ha notato il danno non segnalato da loro e quindi nuovo... abbiamo pagato eravamo agitatissimi anche perché avevamo un aereo da prendere... più tardi ci siamo ricordati del video dove si vedeva il danno già esistente,lo abbiamo inviato è iniziata una serie di messaggi ma nulla da fare, ci hanno rubato 266€ ... Probabilmente è una tattica per chi non stipula l'assicurazione extra....
