We bought a pan from Le Creuset and it started wearing off after using it for 3 times. The nonstick coating literally came off and now it cannot be used anymore.
We tried to reach for customer service because theoretically they have a lifetime warranty but their excuse was that we made the pan too hot. We have a perfectly normal stove, it is unthinkable that a "premium" brand cannot handle a normal stove. It is even worse when they sponsor a lifetime warranty just to dodge any complaints when the warranty should actually be used. Will never use them again

A chip appeard in my hardly used

I bought my beautiful LE Creuset top of the line pans most expensive and thought they would honor the warranty since one pan top had a defect and was not chipped you could see it was just not sprayed right or the enamel did not stick correctly. I was told it would be covered on the phone.Of course after I submitted and asked for a reconsideration they denied it. I found this defect less than a year after I bought them for my home was still being finished and I wanted to save them for the new home. I should have checked them yes and turned into Williams Sonoma but with the quality of having the pans before and no issues with my ex spouse who took them I was not worried. Be worried for the warranty is worthless they stand by nothing from my experience. You can clearly see in my photo that the finish is bad and it is not a chip. I wish I could attach the photo on here. The person on the other end that responded was kind of rude I felt when I asked to have it reviewed again. I never had this issue ever on any of my items with Le Creuset and have spent over $5000.00 with plates ect in the past. I have lost faith in this company that use to stand by there products. Now I had to send my information on the complaint to them in order to keep this review up. I had one lid that was bad in all my experience when I unpacked the brand new box. I have plates all the accessories all matching for my kitchen.

Awful Customer Service. Just absolutely horrendous now, I don't know whats happened to them because they used to be helpful. Now they will come up with any excuse not to help or stand by their products. Lost so much money on a return recently in fees they charged me that I will never buy anything again.

This entire process has been completely unacceptable and unprofessional on the part of Le Creuset. I am extremely disappointed in the utter lack of customer service. I placed an order for a paella pan on 7/27/2025 (09959625). I received your crepe pan TWICE!! The order was processed incorrectly twice!! The first time I received the crepe pan, I was told that I could not receive the paella pan until I returned that crepe pan. I returned that crepe pan and had to inquire about the shipment of the paella pan several days after the initial crepe pan was received by Le Creuset. It WAS NOT shipped as I was told it would be. I waited for the second shipment to be processed only to receive the crepe pan yet again. When I asked again for the paella pan, I was told that I could not receive it until I shipped the second crepe pan back to Le Creuset. This process was so unsettling that I asked for a refund, and I am still waiting for the refund, even after the 14 days I was originally told. Now I am told to wait 5-7 business days.

I can safely guess that I currently own more than $5000 worth of Le Creuset, and now when I am in my kitchen I am reminded at the ridiculous process this has been. Even if I had never purchased a single piece of Le Creuset in the past, the handling of this matter by Le Creuset has been the most egregious process I have experienced, but the fact that I have spent so much money on Le Creuset is an absolute slap in the face. Clearly, Le Creuset has no appreciation for returning customers.

I have bought the Le Creuset stainless steel frying pan as I believed in the quality. Unfortunately, within a few months the non- stick part started to peel off. I have tried to contact Le Creuset company who claims to provide a lifetime warranty but instead of honouring the warranty was told that I must have handled it in a wrong way and therefore must have caused it myself. I have never had such issue with any other frying pan. I would never buy from Le Creuset again. Outrages quality and customer service!

I’m a newbie here and I just want to say I expected more from them I purchased a basting brush hasn’t been opened and it already has ware and tear. Do they check over there products before they send them out? or do they just send the shitty ones other people put back and the can’t sell 🥲 I had high hopes for this brand

Le Creuset: Great Cookware, But Beware — the “Lifetime Guarantee” Has Surprising Limits.

We’ve been loyal Le Creuset users for over a decade and always recommended their products to others — until now. One of our enamelled cast iron pots began to discolour and chip, and despite using it carefully over the years (mostly hand-washed, wooden utensils, gas hob, and common cooking oils), we were told the damage was due to “overheating” and not covered under their lifetime guarantee.

Let that sink in:

A premium cast iron cooking pot was apparently damaged by... heat.

We use this pot to make curries and stews on a standard gas stove — nothing extreme, just everyday cooking. Yet Le Creuset claimed the visible discolouration was consistent with “high heat exposure”, and labelled the issue as wear and tear, refusing to replace it.

So if you’re thinking of investing in Le Creuset, be aware:

Using medium to high heat — as most recipes require — can allegedly void your guarantee.
Their definition of "lifetime guarantee" seems to exclude normal use on a stove.
Their offer? A 30% discount on a new pan — effectively asking us to pay again for a product that didn’t live up to expectations.
We loved their cookware, but this response doesn’t align with the brand's premium reputation. The guarantee sounds impressive until you actually try to use it.

The Le Creuset lifetime guarantee is a joke! I’ve had my very expensive frying pan for less than 2 years, I emailed them with pictures of the pan as it’s losing its non-stick to be told that I’ve heated the pan up too much and used it incorrectly? Bearing in mind I’ve never overheated it, washed it by hand, never used metal implements in it and it’s still falling apart with less than 2 years use. Just a terrible service and a terrible pan! Won’t ever buy from them again.

Vreselijke anti aanbakpannen. Binnen 2 jaar bladdert het PFAS er vanaf. Altijd voorzichtig mee om gegaan. Klantenservice 0% geen antwoord op vragen, krijgt slechts 1 van de 3 pannen a honderden euro's terug.

Pan is defective. No response back from Le Cruset for months. No phone number to call. The number in their book is a cheap vacation package phone number. Do not buy from them.

I cannot recommend the Le Creuset Battersea shop highly enough. Kat was amazing. We wanted to buy some saucepans but needed advice. Kat was very knowledgeable and worked with us to get exactly what we wanted. Her customer service was exceptional. She took the time to talk us through options, and then processed the order and got it shipped directly to us. I then at a later date wanted to change one aspect of my order and Kat sorted it quickly and efficiently. It was a fantastic experience. I will go back there! Huge thanks.

Terrible customer service. They’re not the best quality life time guarantee service. It’s a big lie.

The cast iron I bought leaks water and they told me to decrease the heat to prevent the leakage. I was cooking rise, and sent the videos of the leaks and their answer was very annoying. I already cook the rise at low heats.

The product isn’t worth the money at all and it will leak water all the time and make your stove dirty with oily water from the food leaking all the time..

Qualité déplorable et service après-vente inexistant…ne vous laissez pas avoir par les achats essai 90jours satisfait ou remboursé car vous ne voyez jamais la couleur du remboursement… je les contacte tous les jours depuis des semaines et rien… c’est HONTEUX pour une telle enseigne !!!!

New customer here! I just received my first Le Cruset purchase. I was so excited to receive the braiser that I invited family to dinner. Unfortunately, it arrived with a scratched lid. While I'm sure this doesn't impact the performance of the braiser I opted to return for one that is not damaged. At this cost it and with their reputation my expectations are perfection. Regrettably the way they treat their customers leaves much to be desired. I should have read these reviews before spending close to $600 on 2 items. They definitely don't make doing business with them easy. I have to print the UPS label, take this to a UPS store, wait for them to review the photos I emailed AND recieve the item back for inspection before they will send a replacement. And, all of this will be done with standard shipping and allowing the. 10-14 business days to inspection it. By the time I get the replacement the excitement will be gone. I will not be a return client. Unless they expedite this process and treat customers better. Side note: I asked for a supervisor and was told one will call me in 48 hours...

In October, a chip came off the inside base of my Le Creuset Pot. I have had it for 10 years and expected to keep it for a lifetime. After interacting with their customer service several times and answering all their questions, they disappeared and will not reply to any follow ups. I do believe I have a warranty claim because this should not happen but they will not reply to me. It has been 5 months.

Worst customer service ever. Do not buy any pieces that come with glass lids!!! I bought a Halloween edition black stockpot with a bat motif on the pot and on the glass lid (by the way the lids are made in China). I hand washed both pieces and used them twice at which time I noticed that there was a rattling sound in the lid. When they made the lid they broke off parts of the glass at the very edges (where the metal meets on the sides) so if you rotate the lid you can see and hear these pieces of glass rotate around the sides inside the metal rim of the lid. Since I can hear the metal of the lid expanding and contracting while on top of the pot while cooking I know it is not safe to use the lid and fear some glass crumbs may eventually come out of the lid with further use. I contacted LE Creuset customer service by email (I bought the product directly from Le Creuset’s website) and then I sent all the photos they asked for as well as a video that shows me slowly turning the lid while holding it and the glass pieces moving back and forth and rattling around audibly and they had the nerve to tell me they can’t do anything for me because it is “COSMETIC”!!!

Can you believe they want me to use a glass lid that came broken?? They broke the glass when they applied the metal rim during manufacturing!!! I am so angry. The bat lid is no longer available and they refuse to send me a plain glass lid or replace this in any way or even offer me a discount on a replacement lid. They refused to help in any way. I’m so angry. Would you use a glass lid that had its edges broken off while they encapsulated the sides in metal during manufacture to cook meals for YOUR FAMILY?? I’m afraid this may put a strain on the rest of the glass as well. Nobody should be cooking with a glass lid that sounds like a maraca when handling it because small pieces of glass are rolling around the sides inside the metal rims of the pot lid! If I use this lid and the metal expands and contracts and slivers of glass fall into my family’s food I only have myself to blame. This is truly a lawsuit waiting to happen once someone ingests broken glass shards but Le Creuset couldn’t care less and doesn’t have quality control. They sent me defective junk lid and now I can’t even use the stock pot unless I spend more money because I don’t have another lid that fits the pot.

To make matters worse, I bought a soup pot with glass lid a month ago on the Le Creuset website and after I hand washed it and started to make a meal for the first time this week I realized that the knob is not in the center of the lid but off to the side!!! When it was made the knob hole was drilled about an inch over from where it is supposed to be. This feels odd in your hand and looks stupid on the pot. To make things worse, the lid made popping sounds when using it first time (I was cooking a curry) and now if I run my finger over the outer glass right near the steam vent hole, the glass has tiny craze/scratch marks on it that you can feel with your finger nails. These little fissures on the top of the glass near the vent were certainly not there before I used this pot. I’m dreading the response I will get when I complain about this lid as well. When you spend $200 or upwards on a product you expect the lids will last more than 1 or 2 uses. They tout their quality French products but then send defective lids. They don’t stand by their products snd the glass lids seem to have defects.

A search on line revealed they had recalls of different glass lids years ago so obviously they’ve learned nothing or just don’t care.

This is the last Le Creuset product I’m buying (for myself or as a gift). I’m switching back to Staub. They might not have as nice a selection of colors, but I’ve had their glass lids and they are thicker and I’ve never had a problem. 2 defective glass lids (2 totally different styles -1 with steam vent and one without) purchase in 5 months from Le Creuset is ridiculous!!! Furthermore, their quality control should have spotted these defects and destroyed the lids instead of sending them to a customer.
