I visited the Le Creuset store at York designer outlet and couldn’t be more pleased. Jack and Ewan were excellent and extremely helpful in assisting me with buying a kettle. Their customer service was superb, they were both very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I’ll definitely be visiting them again, 10/10!

Had a stoneware dish which had cracked in two upon being used in the oven.Following this I contacted Le Crueset and a replacement was sent all within one week.

Non existent customer service

I received my order and the product was damaged. It was scratched, clearly not in transit as it was wrapped well and no damage to outer box. Out of 3 orders from Le Creuset all 3 have arrived scratched (and different products).

Customer service is non existent, nobody answers the phone, it took 7 days for someone to come back to me and that was because I chased. I then get told I can have a replacement or refund. I chose the refund and then proceeded to receive an email telling me I had to take numerous pictures of the product during different stages of packing it up, with my full name and details in the picture?

Why? Why am I being inconvenienced when Le Creuset sent a fault product. Why was the same attention to detail not given by them when selecting my order.

An avid fan and have several products but will not purchase again.

Oh and waiting for an advisor to come back to my recent query.

I recently contacted Le Creuset Customer Service regarding a problem I had with a lever corkscrew which I had for a considerable number of years.
I explained to Lesley, (Customer Service), the nature of the problem, and she could not have been more helpful.
Lesley arranged for the screw mechanism to be replaced, when this failed to resolve the problem , a complete new lever corkscrew was supplied.

We visited from Jersey Channel Islands and Kezza looked after us so well! I felt like she knew me so well within 5 minutes of being in the shop which then led to us buying pretty much everything she showed us because she knew I would like it! She made our trip, thank you.

These products really do last forever! I had an issue with a knob on a lid. Over 20 years old, no receipt and they still replaced it. Incredible quality and service.

Customer service is beyond poor. They refuse to provide any solution to a defective mug that I bought. I will not be buying any further Le Creuset in the future.

I broke the lid of my beloved large casserole dish. A replacement didn't appear to be available after searching online so I reached out to Le Creuset customer services to see if they could help. I was over joyed that they found me a replacement lid and doubly so when they sent it to me for free.

I can't recommend Carla at Le Creuset highly enough! She was absolutely pivotal in helping me resolve an issue with my kettle Carla replied quickly every-time, provided detailed and clear guidance at every step, and made sure the outcome was exactly what I needed. It's rare to find such attentive service, and I'm really grateful.

I bought 6 pans from Le Creuset spending over £800, one of which was the Signature Stainless Steel Non-stick Deep Frying Pan with Helper Handle. I have followed the care instructions carefully as I like to look after these pans. After only 3 years the non stick has stopped working and has discoloured. I know not to use the pans on a high temperature, use metal utensils or abrasive cleaners. I contacted customer service and they have said I’ve used the pans too high temperature and that they won’t replace or refund. I feel the pan is either faulty or not fit for purpose. If I can’t “gently” fry an egg or make a risotto in the pan then what’s it for??my smaller frying pan has been treated the exact same way and the base is still like new.

The non stick frying pan is not good quality, very disappointed that the coating is peeling after less than 5 years. So much for the life time guarantee!

Overpriced, bad quality!
I was so excited when I received a pretty heart print (white base) Le Creuset mug as a present from a friend. Sadly after just a couple of use I noticed scratch marks inside the cup. The only thing I put in the mug is a tea bag and a spoon to stir. If those leave marks then it’s clear the item is an incredibly low quality one! Very disappointed! I sent a message to the company through their website about 2 weeks ago but never received any response. These mugs cost £20!!! I can’t even complain to my friend as it was a present but I know for sure I would never buy Le Creuset products, waste of money!!

I bought a gorgeous countertop kettle a few years ago. At over £100 a piece, with a warranty and Le Creuset's reputation for quality, I thought I was buying a kettle for life.

Incorrect. I recently noticed the water becoming brown. The kettle had been rusting inside, and was no longer useable.

I was relieved to see it was still in warranty. Unfortunately, having been in touch with Le Creuset, this has happened due to 'thermal shock', and therefore isn't covered. I'll include the comms below so you can judge for yourself. After this email, they did offer 30% off... but since you can find their kettles through third parties cheaper than that anyway, it doesn't feel like a great solution.

And hesitant to spend that much on a kettle that isn't for life in the end.

Le Creuset offers a 5 year guarantee on its stovetop kettles. The guarantee covers defects in materials or manufacturing for 5 years when the product is used in normal, domestic conditions and in accordance with the care and use instructions provided. It does not cover normal wear and tear, commercial use or misuse of the product.

Having carefully reviewed the photographs, we can see crazing lines across the enamel, along with areas of enamel loss around the exterior base and coating loss on the inside of the kettle.
The damage shown is consistent with thermal shock, which can occur when the kettle experiences a sudden or significant change in temperature, such as cold water being added to a hot kettle or being boiled dry. Over time, this can cause the enamel to craze and weaken, eventually resulting in areas of the coating becoming damaged or coming away.
Where the internal coating has been lost, the underlying metal can become exposed. If moisture is left sitting on these exposed areas, surface rust can then develop, which explains the rusting you have experienced when the kettle is left wet.
Unfortunately, damage caused by thermal shock is not considered a manufacturing or material fault and would therefore not be covered under the guarantee.
We appreciate this may be disappointing and are sorry that we are unable to offer a replacement on this occasion.

I recently bought a Le Creuset Stoneware Cafetière French Press, through Amazon UK during an offer period with the price reduced from £70 to £42. It arrived from Amazon and while the outer packaging (a plain brown cardboard box) was undamaged, the boxed product inside had clearly been subjected to some rough treatment. The lid of the product box had some crumpling and a hole punched through several layers of cardboard by the small knob on the coffee pot lid. The item also had no 'Care and Use Booklet' (required to validate the 10 year product warranty) in the box. Amazon offered a refund, but not a replacement and by this time the price offer had ended and it had returned to £70. The Amazon rep. told me to take the issue up with Le Creuset as it was sold and shipped directly by them, and the damage had obviously been caused on Le Creuset's premises, not in transit. I contacted Le Creuset Customer Services but they refused to help beyond telling me to contact Amazon for them to resolve the problem.

Easy to deal with regarding the lifetime guarantee

I ruined my 40 year old le creuset casserole and they were so lovely on the helpline. t
They really seemed to care and it was definitely a real person! They gave me a 30% discount on a new casserole and I could use this on anything else on the website as well up to a certain amount But the main thing was that they were responsive and really seemed to care

An expensive wok that seems better suited to decoration

I paid £141.76 for a Le Creuset Toughened Non-Stick 32 cm wok in January 2024. In less than three years, its cooking surface developed extensive brown marking and fine lines. I used wooden or silicone utensils, cleaned it with a normal sponge, and stored it on top of my other pans.

Le Creuset refused my guarantee claim, attributing the marks to overheating and utensil wear. I dispute the utensil claim. They also advised against olive oil and said the wok should generally be used on low to medium heat. I commonly cook at medium-high heat on a ceramic hob, with olive oil. If an expensive wok cannot cope with those ordinary cooking habits without its surface ending up like this, what exactly am I paying a premium for? A wok that must be treated so delicately feels more like a decorative pan than practical cookware.

Food still releases from it, but I am deeply disappointed by its appearance after less than three years and by how little the “lifetime guarantee” helped in my case. I would not buy it again.
