Le Creuset Arvostelua 

I purchased a Le Creuset kettle in October 2025 expecting the same quality and durability I have trusted from the brand for more than 25 years. Unfortunately, the kettle developed multiple enamel chips along the bottom edge during normal household use, despite not being dropped, banged, or misused.
I contacted customer service, Santavia, provided photographs, and explained the issue in detail. Although Le Creuset offered a replacement as a one-time courtesy, the process required me to return the defective kettle first and potentially wait 7–10 business days after receipt before the replacement would be processed. I asked for a reasonable accommodation: either a prepaid return label and/or shipment of the replacement first so I would not be left without a kettle because of a product defect.
Unfortunately, after sending follow-up emails asking for escalation and a fair resolution, I have received no response. That lack of communication is extremely disappointing, especially from a premium brand whose products are marketed as durable and reliable.
I have been a loyal Le Creuset customer for decades, but this experience has made me question both the quality of this kettle and the level of customer support behind it. A relatively new kettle should not chip under normal use, and customers should not have to send repeated emails without receiving a reply. I hope Le Creuset improves how it handles warranty concerns and follows through with customers when a product appears to be defective.

Es gab einen defekt und der Ersatz wurde sofort nach gesendet ohne wenn und aber.

Meine Erfahrung in diesem kleinen Shop auf der Breite Strasse in Köln war mehr als gut!!! Ich kann es nicht genug betonen. Ich habe einen Bräter reklamiert und direkt am selben Tag die Rückmeldung erhalten, dass ein Ersatz unterwegs ist. Das nennt man Kundenfreundlichkeit. Die zwei Mitarbeiterinen, die sich um den Fall gekümmert haben sind äuserst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Immer wieder gerne.

Unglaublich angenehmer und schneller Service! Uns wurde durch Kulanz extrem entgegen gekommen. Sowas wünsche ich mir von anderen Unternehmen auch.
Die Produkte sind wirklich klasse und machen einiges im Schrank und beim kochen her! Gerne wieder!

I couldn't be more impressed with Le Creuset's customer service and warranty process. On Monday, July 20, I emailed photos of my Heritage Rectangular Casserole after it unexpectedly cracked while my mom was cooking a roast. I received a prompt response letting me know the dish was covered under warranty and was asked to send my top three color choices for a replacement.

After I replied with my color selections, I was quickly notified that my first-choice color would be shipped. To my surprise, the replacement arrived just one week later on Monday, July 27!

The entire process was incredibly easy, professional, and hassle-free. Le Creuset stood behind their product without hesitation, communicated clearly every step of the way, and exceeded my expectations with the speed of the replacement. It's rare to find a company that provides customer service this exceptional.

Thank you, Le Creuset, for making the warranty process so simple and for demonstrating why your brand has such an outstanding reputation. You've earned a loyal customer, and I'll continue recommending Le Creuset to family and friends!

Ich wollte in der Filiale in Luzern Töpfe kaufen, diese waren dort jedoch nicht vorrätig. Der Filialleiter Herr Leo organisierte mir aus einer anderen Filiale die gewünschten Artikel, welche am nächsten Tag per Post geliefert wurden. Vielen Dank so kann ich heute meine Gäste so verwöhnen wie ich es geplant habe. Gerne immer wieder.

Nous sommes allés au Printemps Haussmann pour flâner, en arrivant dans le stand de Le Creuset nous avons été séduits par la ligne colorée des ustensiles classiques. Les vendeurs ont été très accueillants, plein de bons conseils. Nous les remercions. J’en profite pour les remercier. Nous sommes finalement partis avec des sous-plats. En plus de jolis, ils sont d’une très bonne qualité.

Eine meiner Auflaufformen ist im Ofen mittig gebrochen, als ich darin ein Hähnchen zubereitet habe. Der Kundendienst hat - nicht ganz so schnell - aber ausgesprochen kulant reagiert und die immerhin einige Jahre alte Form nach Austausch von Bildern und Erläuterungen ausnahmsweise gegen eine Neue ersetzt. Fand ich sehr stark, denn das neue Modell wurde sogar in meiner Wunschfarbe innerhalb von zwei Tagen verschickt. Top!

Very happy with my Le Creuset purchase. The quality and craftsmanship are excellent, and it feels like a pan that's built to last for years. It performs beautiful in the kitchen and looks great on the table as well. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that it's a bit heavier than I expected on the expensive side.
That said, the quality justifies the investment, and I would purchase from Le Creuset again.

Wir haben uns eine teure emaillierte Pfanne geleistet. Bei der ersten Anwendung war bereits der Belag abgesplittert. Wir haben dies telefonisch, als auch persönlich beim Kundenservice angeprangert und wurden nicht kompetent beraten, noch haben wir eine Hilfe erhalten.
Wir werden def. auf andere Pfannenhersteller setzen.

Wauw!!! Nog nooit meegemaakt!!!

Vandaag om 10:40 telefonisch contact gehad +31 76 201 52 85 met een vrouwelijke klantenservice medewerker dit ivm een klacht over mijn aangeschafte pannen. Deze dame begon tegen mij te schreeuwen aan de telefoon. Ik heb dit nog nooit meegemaakt!!!! Als je dit leest wie ik net aan de telefoon had.. zoek een andere baan!! En le creuset jullie bezorgen mensen intens slechte pannen voor veel geld!! En als er een klacht is wimpelen jullie het af door te zeggen dat ik het verkeerd gebruik!!! Schandalig!!!!!!!

Wir haben etliche Produkte von Le Creuset, Gusseisen und Steinzeug, und sind damit sehr zufrieden. Der Kundenservice ist freundlich und hat sich uns gegenüber schon 2x als sehr kulant erwiesen.

I ordered two mugs, one in Chambray and another in Sea Salt color. When they arrived, Sea Salt was shattered due to very poor packaging without even a "Fragile" label. So I contacted the company and they sent a replacement. I was clear in my request that I need a replacement on the Sea Salt mug. After waiting for more than a week, I was excited to receive my Sea Salt mug. But to my surprise, they sent another Chambray. So I emailed them again. And they said "unfortunately, we can only offer you a Chambray mug". So I never received what I actually paid for. When I checked their website, the mug in Sea Salt was available, not out of stock or discontinued. Needless to say, I will never order from this company again.

Update (05/28/2026): Le Creuset customer service contacted me and sent two mugs in Sea Salt (one is extra) which I received today. I appreciate that the company made the effort to make this right, and it is nice to finally have the mug in the color I really wanted!

Top Produkt und Top Kundenservice!
Unser Bräter hat uns lange Jahre dabei unterstützt, wunderbare Speisen zuzubereiten. Vor kurzem hat sich leider die Emaillierung unten mittig gelöst. Wir haben uns in der Folge an den Kundendienst von Le Creuset in Deutschland gewandt. Dieser war leicht erreichbar und hat sehr rasches Feedback gegeben. Nach Schadensbesprechung und Übermittlung von Fotos wurde uns in Kulanz und sehr kurzfristig ein nagelneuer Bräter zugesendet!
Diese extrem freundliche und schnelle Bearbeitung von Kundenanliegen ist heute leider sehr selten geworden.

Pas made in France »mais « Thaïlande ou …Chine ..

Mon ancienne cocotte a 30 ans.. pas bougée .
J’avais commandé en pensant que c’était encore Francais .

The lifetime warranty is a huge scam. I bought a cast iron skillet at the end of 2023 in Portugal, and right from the first few uses, the inside showed discoloration and some signs of rust.

I took it back to the store and was told that this was "normal." Even though I didn't agree, I accepted it and kept using the product.

Recently, a piece of the exterior enamel chipped off and started to rust. I contacted the warranty department and they basically "washed their hands" of it; according to them, it was my fault due to some impact on the enamel, which didn't happen.

Super Service. Wir haben mehrere Bräter von LeCreuset. Jetzt hatten wir mit einem, der schon 10 Jahre alt, ist etwas Probleme. Der Kundenservice hilf uns sofort und unkompliziert. So werden unsere Kinder auch noch Spass mit den LeCreuset Bräter haben. Danke an das Kunden Service Team

Der Deckel unseres viel genutzten großen Bräters ist aus großer Höhe heruntergefallen und zerbrochen. Auf Nachfrage hat man bei “Le Creuset” einen Ersatzdeckel gefunden und uns als Kulanz zugeschickt, so dass wir unseren Bräter weiter nutzen können. Sehr freundliche Kommunikation und großartiger Kundenservice! Ganz herzlichen Dank!!!

Ich hatte meinen Screwpull Profi-Korkenzieher an einem zu harten Sektkork ruiniert. Er war vor vielen Jahren ein Geschenk. Ich hatte weder eine Rechnung noch eine Garantie. Die Firma Screwpull gibt es aber nicht mehr - sie wurde von Le Creuset übernommen, die dieses Gerät aber nicht mehr erzeugen. Trotzdem wurde mir sofort angeboten, dass ich den Korkenzieher kostenfrei!!! an Le Creuset einschicken kann, wo er auch prompt auf Kulanz kostenfrei!!! repariert und an mich zurückgeschickt wurde... Ich bin wirklich sehr beeindruckt und positivst überrascht - DANKE!!!
Le Creuset werde ich auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen.
