Ich fahre eine Duke 690 R Modelljahr 2017. Ich habe sie 2019 mit 3000km gekauft.
Seit dieser Zeit und 4000km später hatte ich bereits drei!!! Probleme die eindeutig auf mangelhafte Teile/ Qualität zurückzuführen sind. Es musste bereits zweimal der Kupplungsnehmerzylinder getauscht werden. (bekanntes KTM Problem wegen fehlerhafter Fertigung)
Zudem wurde der Tank bzw. Die Dichtung zur Kraftsstoffpumpe undicht. Es stellte sich heraus, dass sich der Tank aufgrund von Temperaturreinflüssen (wer kann schon damit rechnen, dass ein Motor
heiß wird?!) dermaßen verzogen hat, dass die Dichtung gar nicht mehr abdichten konnte. Es musste ein neuer Tank her. Ebenfalls ein bekanntes KTM Problem.
Der Spaß hat mich insgesamt knappe 1400€ gekostet. Null Kulanz von KTM, keinerlei Entgegenkommen oder Entschuldigung.
Für mich steht fest, nie wieder KTM.

Une marque honteuse.
1290 Super duke achetée en 2017. Que des problèmes depuis le début. Un coup c'est le boitier bluetooth qui rend l'âme 1 mois après la garantie (et bien sur pas pris en charge), un coup c'est la visse du phare avant qui casse (1 semaine après le passage en révision), un coup c'est le bocal de frein, un coup elle ne démarre plus, et encore un coup, et un autre... elle passe sa vie en atelier à mes frais. Bref... des prix exorbitants pour une qualité relative. Les concessionnaires sont abandonnés par la marque nationale qui s'en moque de toute façon. Elle ne pense qu'à vendre des extensions de garantie qui ne couvre jamais rien. Je leur ai écris.. il mon répondu de voir avec mon concessionnaire. Mais mon concessionnaire n'est pas responsable de la qualité médiocre du fabriquant. KTM est une grande déception !

Very disappointed . Bought bike brand new . Had trouble for the first 5 months , hardly drove it due to problem . Wrote ktm . Replied twice , said they were going to see about compensation for putting us out so much .
My last email I sent still not happy even though it's"supposed" to be fixed I've had no reply . So don't buy one , it also took ages to fix even though we rang about the problem first couple months , they couldn't see what was wrong

790 Adventure suspension is appalling

790 Adventure suspension is appalling. Especially the forks which rattle and clunk and the damping is all wrong. Zero adjustment.
Back to the useless dealer 3 times and they say it's OK. It's not OK KTM, get your act together and come up with a solution not just a new model.

Meine Erfahrungen mit KTM:

Ich habe mir vor ca. 1 Monat eine nagelneue KTM Duke 890R gekauft. Die ersten 100 km war ich noch voller Freude und Euphorie, jedoch hielt dieser Zustand nicht lange an.

Bereits am nächsten Tag bei meiner ersten weiteren Ausfahrt (100km) kahm beim Abstellen der Fehler "Antennenfehler Weckfahrsperre".

Nun was macht man dann ? natürlich Handy raus und erstmal beim KTM Händler angerufen, dieser meinte nur er rufe mich gleich zuruck.

Nach ca. einer Stunde warten (in der prallen Sonne am Straßenrand) nahm ich die Sache selbst in die Hand und organisierte nach nichteinmal einen Tag den Transport zum Händler.

Soweit sogut, natürlich musste mein Motorrad dann auch beim Händler bleiben (6 Tage) und ich musste erstmal schauen wie ich wieder die 100km Heim komme aber naja.. zu dieser Zeit dachte ich noch Fehler können passieren und halb so schlimm.

Nach den 6 Tagen warten konnte ich mein Motorrad wieder abholen. Ich fragte dann natürlich den Händler wie wir jetzt vorgehen sollten.. da ich ja auch Kosten fürn Transport zum Händler und den ausfall von knapp einer Woche hatte (alleine Versicherung rund 30€).

Dieser meinte dann nur nee da kann er nichts machen, da es ja nicht seine Schuld ist und auch nicht die Schuld von KTM!

Aber ich fragte mich wen seine Schuld ist es dann ? anscheinend in diesem Fall meine ?!

Ich dachte mir dann okey beim Händer hatt das ganze keinen Sinn ich melde mich lieber beim Kundenservice.

Gesagt getan.. ich schrieb alles rein was vorgefallen ist usw... nach einen Monat ohne Antwort vom Kundenservice schrieb ich abermals eine Email an KTM.

Rund eine Woche später bekahm ich dann endlich eine Rückmeldung..

Und was für eine! richtig trocken eine 1 Satz Standart Antwort in der drinnen stand:
"Richtiger Weise hätten Sie den Mobility-Service kontaktieren müssen, dieser hätte Ihr Motorrad kostenlos zum KTM Händler gebracht."

Abermals wird mir als KUNDE die Schuld gegeben!

Nun ich frage mich nur warum hat mein KTM Händler nichts von diesem Service gesagt ? und was wär dann mit mir gewesen ? und wer hätte mir meine Versicherung in der Zeit vom Ausfall bezahlt ?

Okey also abermals eine Email an KTM geschrieben wo ich wieder mein Leiden mitteilte aber auch diesmal war die Antwort für nichts gut..

Nun meine Meinung zu diesem Thema bzw meine Meinung von KTM:

Nach außen wirkt die Marke stark und gut aber sollten Probleme auftreten interresiert sich keiner fürn Kunden. Die Antworten vom Kundenservice sind nicht zu gebrauchen! Es werden keine Lösungen vorgeschlagen sondern es wird legentlich die Schuld an Kunden weiter gegeben.

Es wäre so einfach gewesen, grad bei so an Motorrad hätte man sowas wie einen Quick Shifter oder sonstiges an Software als wieder gut machung vorschlagen können.. aber Nein nichts kommt..

Kann also von dieser Marke nach meinen Erfahrungen abraten! Solange alles funktioniert ists gut aber wenna was hat bist nur der Depp.

Extremely poor and unsatisfactory customer service - faceless organisation. Wrote to them regarding dissapointment of buying a Premium £15K motorcycle, with no owners manual supplied. Their response sent me to a link, where I was told I could obtain a manual - turned out to be a "shop", selling the manual for £30 !
Lodged a complaint, then received an email advising the case was closed. Will be trading in for a Ducati in 2 months time . Having owned Gen 1.0, 2.0 and now Gen 3.0 models over the last 5 years, this will be my last KTM - Brand loyalty does not extend to a paper handbook that costs KTM a few £'s - Shameful attitude to loyal customers - avoid.

Poor quality build, rust on most of my nuts and bolts after just one year of owning a garaged brand new 790 Duke. the TFT screen developed cracks, a common issue on KTM forums, and a replacement was refused under warranty as the 2020 warranty wasn't done on time! Absolutely no allowance for us being in lockdown for almost half the year, and not a serviced part so totally irrelevant. Very poor, KTM, not how to look after your customers.

je souhaite laisser un avis sur KTM France et KTM 34 a Maugio du groupe Suttel pour indiquer la mauvaise fois dont ils font part car ayant acheté une pièce carbone KTM 350€ avec une moto neuve cette pièce étant de qualité plus que douteuse avec un défaut flagrant KTM France et son concessionnaire refuse de la changer parce que pour eux il n'y a pas de défaut....
j'ai contacté un autre distributeur KTM qui lui est d'accord avec moi pour dire que cette pièce a un défaut.
Ce litige malgré plusieurs tentative de ma part pour trouver une issue amiable va se finir au tribunal .
bref si vous désirez acheter une KTM ou faire entretenir votre KTM ne vous adressez ni a KTM france ni a son concessionnaire KTM a Maugio SUTTEL MOTORS GROUP ces personnes ne sont pas des commerçants mais des voleurs.

Your new revamped 2021 KTM RC series which we saw in spy shots, is UGLY! Please don't RUIN the old style (twin projectors)...It's so ugly I'm switching to honda, so disappointed!

Love my KTM 200. Service is damn expensive but worth the ride.

Wrost brand ever try. I have my 125 duke 2019 in service from 1st August and is 24 september! 2 months for 1 part from piston! This never happen with other brands! So manny dealers in Europe and they don't have parts for exchange. They keep giving me dates like 20th august, 15th to 20th September than, the part arrive on 23th call us on 25, today they just told me that they can't give a date. Unprofessional, i will change the brand for sure

Everything is ok but hight issue for india short rider's. KTM should think about it in indian market.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH WARRANTY SERVICE.

THEY REFUSE TO INSPECT THE FAULT ON MY BIKE,1290 SADV, AND ACTIVATE WARRANTY.

I WILL NEVER BUY A SINGLE BOLT FROM IT.

I have had no problems with KTM, love their motorcycles and Powerparts options :)

+Fun and high-performance motorcycles
-poor assembly quality and quality checks.
-KTM Sportmotorcycle GmbH and KTM France do not respect their customers by refusing legal warranty !
-KTM Warranty may be refused without any explanation !!

My worst case with KTM:
2 brackets broken (receiving clutch slave cylinder) because of 2 wrong OEM screws mounted by the KTM Factory himself ! cost to repair = ~3500€
KTM France refuses to study seriously the case, refuses to provide any warranty and makes fun of me
KTM Sportmotorcycle GmbH who simply forward my registered mail to KTM France

I would not buy Ktm rc 125 2018 from Colwyn bay motorcycle when I bought it I had nothing but problems and all the paint was coming off the engine and the fairings KTM said it was not under warranty Which is loads of rubbish
And Colwyn bay banned me from the shop

Bought a new 2019 KTM 690 enduro in March thi year. Had first service at 500 miles. Headed to Spanish Pyrenees and clutch failed. All fluid had disappeared!!
Rode all morning with no clutch in the mountains until I found Petrol station that sold clutch fluid. Topped it up and it worked. Two days later all gone again. Counter shaft was leaking oil. Seat came apart. Huge disappointment to say the least. Rode home through France to uk on roads running my trip. My 14 days planned was now 5. Spent small fortune getting home. Could of got home through repatriation on warranty but had a mate with me. Got home. Took bike to dealer who was very helpful. KTM were /are very poor. No phone number. No help. Poor response via email. Lack of knowledge from support people. Very poor and embarrassing. Now I have bike that has had clutch fluid in the oil and they won’t do anything. I will seriously reconsider before buying KTM again. Disgusting after sales handling. Poor quality parts on their bikes. I feel like going to KTM UK and kicking off big time. I aim to tell as many people as I can about my experience.
