Ordered oxford rainseal thermal trousers, said instock ready for delivery, 2 days later said delay with no precise day of arrival. Need them for a trip to Morocco, so had to contact them a week later. They emailed back saying not in stock and don't know when they will be in stock ? Why advertise something you haven't got ? First and last time I'll use this company! If I order the trousers elsewhere they won't come in time for our trip. Shambles of a company.
I’ve ordered from Adventure Rider twice and both times the website said in stock and would be delivered in 3-4 days. Unfortunately both times the items haven’t been in stock and after I chased them on day 4 they’ve apologised and politely offered a refund.
Won’t be trying again.
Bought a MX helmet from here about a week and a half ago. If you live in London and can get to the shop to process returns I would say they're well worth considering - the shop itself looks nice too (although a bit fancy for the likes of me). Competitive pricing and speedy outbound delivery.
Good shipping to me (2 days). Packing left something to be desired as shipped only in manufacturers display box inside a box with no additional protective packaging.
Helmets vary in size by manufacturers so returns for exchange to size up/down are frequently required and well supported by other retailers. Urbanrider/MXrider/Adventurerider have no exchange process as it's "not something they normally do". Ordinarily, one would go to a shop however because local motorcycle shops are going out of business this isn't an option for more specialist kit.
Absurdly slow shipping on returns now at 6 days from dispatch my end. Low stock means it is unclear whether they whave process an exchange.
Good communication by email when you contact them, but no updates and phone communication is poor.
Over the internet the experience is mixed, and I will personally buy from businesses better established in e-commerce like SBS or HC in the future.
