Company at the Baby Show now bankrupt!!!

I am so dissapointed to Learn this company has now been declared bankrupt, I bought a Chicco next to me crib from them at the Baby show in October, 20 days later they file for bankruptcy... is this even legal for them to trade knowing they are in finacial difficulty?? I stupidly paid cash, so I am now unable to claim my money back from my bank, I also have nowhere for my new born baby to sleep when she arrives in less than 5weeks!!!
For others who have lost a lot of money, I have done research the director of Kiddisave also owns another company called "baby goods direct ltd" her name is Julie Dawn Smith - if you can find any contact details it maybe worth contacting this company? I can't find anything just an address and I don't live close!! As yet I haven't spoken to the Baby Show - has anyone else done this? Any joy?

Awful, useless and non existent service.

We ordered a 2 way car seat at the Olympia Baby Show 25/10/15. We have tried calling over 10 times, sent emails...nothing. All while my partner is 39 weeks pregnant and getting unnecessarily stressed for no reason!

For the sake of our sanity and the £152, I will process a claim from my credit card company. It's really not money it's the principle.

Why would you go into business to let so many people down intentionally? Perhaps the owner should do something more rewarding and become a traffic warden and legally steal from people.

What a joke of a company.

THIEVES

I went to Kiddisave because my mom had always brought mine and my sisters prams from there since we were babies. I'm 25 now so I believed it was a credible company.
I chose this beautiful Limited Edition Eaton Grey Surf 2 Silvercross Pram. I put £400 cash deposit down and were told by the manager that the pram would be in end of September. I was so excited! This is my 1st baby. The lady who served us told me that it might not be here til end of November... Almost trying to put us off buying it... The manager came over and said if they ever have a delay, it's only ever a few weeks, so we went ahead.
I paid cash as we weren't given an option to pay with card. I have saved up this money for my babies pram for months.
I never received any phone calls or emails like they promised. My Dad rang them every week from the end of September and we were just given so much messing about with it being late every time they answered the phone, which was very rare. We left countless messages and emails yet the communication started getting worse.
My Dad asked for a refund as it was taking the mickey, yet they said they couldn't offer us one as the pram was now being delivered on the 8th Nov. We phoned back again (which what seemed like the 100th time) and they said "It's arrived in store. It's now in the warehouse, so we will call you on Monday 16th to arrange a collection date for the Tuesday or Wednesday that week"
Lo and behold... NO PHONE CALL.
No one would pick up the phone.
My Mom and I decided to go down there and speak to them face to face today and get a refund as I am 31 weeks now and he couldn't come anytime... I didn't want to end up with no pushchair.
All the shutters are down and there was no one there. I went onto their Facebook page and I read so many comments of people not being able to get in contact or get their money back.
They even went to the Baby Show two weeks ago, took money off people, knowing they wouldn't be getting their orders.
It's absolutely disgusting. They are EVIL.
They have been blatantly lying to people face, taking their money and stealing it!!!
I cannot believe anyone could do that to expectant parents who are spending a lot of money. Times are hard as they are without awful human beings like these roaming the Earth taking our hard earned money off us like they are a charity.
I paid cash so I can't get a refund from my bank or anything- gutted is not the word. I am heart broken.
PLEASE SHARE WITH EVERYONE SO EVERYONE KNOWS HOW AWFUL THIS IS!!!!!

Whats going on??

Heard a rumour they have gone bust???? have tried emailing, calling and have even been to the store on two separate occasions. Store is all locked up with no signs of a notice stating what is happening??? spoke to slivercross who have confirmed they have gone into liquidation!!!!!
36 weeks now and they have £865 of my money and no goods recieved!!!!!

AVOID UNLESS YOU LIKE PAYING FOR STUFF YOU'LL NEVER GET

Paid for a travel system in full on 06/09/15.

Rang 3 times to ask for a progress update.

Was assured a fortnight ago it would arrive before my due date.

Now 2 weeks before my due date We have heard NOTHING.

Their Facebook page confirms I am one of many who cannot contact them either by phone, email and the shop looks closed.

I have processed a claim with my CCard provider.

Almost £1000 down (until my refund is processed).


What utter scum.

Keep away from this company..shocking after sales customer service

Bought a Huxby 3 piece set and a Moses basket @ baby show Olympia on 25th..I've been asked to call their customer services to arrange a delivery. Till date after 3 weeks none of my phone calls are answered and neither my emails. Their website went down from the past couple of days and I heard rumors that they might have gone bust.keep away from them..

You have my pram and I need it.

I ordered a bugaboo twin donkey pram on 29/10/15. Along with the bag, bottle holders, buggy board and seat, all adapters and two car seats! Totally 1756.00! I paid half 878.00 in cash and was due to pay the other half on 26/11/15 or before, although you wouldn't except card payments so I had to come over in person, you called me on Wednesday 11th / Thursday 12th and Friday 13th from another number, not the two store numbers i have, asking whether I could collect my pram as you've had all new stock in and you didn't want it to get damaged, very weird phone all! I said I can't until 26/11/15 like arranged, you didn't sound happy and that's the last i heard off you, your store is now closed you are not answering any of the phone numbers, I'm stuck in a hospital be about to give birth to twins and I have no pram or car seats and you have 878.00 of my money! If you have any decency please either let me pay for my pram and have it or give me my money back! Broken hearted! 😭

KIDDISAVE are THIEVES! At baby show which took place at OLYMPIA LONDON on 25/10/2015 i bought a baby bed package, was told that delivery will be 2-3 weeks and will be contacted by phone or e-mail.
BULL(s)HIT fourth week and no phone call , no e-mail and no baby bed.
Try to contact myself kiddisave on three different phone numbers for 8 days in row , but no answer. My baby is due from tomorrow morning 17/11/2015 and no bed , thanks to thieves from kiddisave.

Never received our ordered products despite a 9 month wait and full deposit.

We will never contemplate using kiddisave again. I have given them chances to sort our issues but they didn't even have the decency to reply.
We ordered a Silver Cross Wayfarer with a sand colour pack back in March. They never told us the frame had arrived and claimed Silver Cross had run out of Sand colour packs and fobbed us off with a black one until ours arrived. 5 months on, still no contact. I have regular contacted silver cross who have always confirmed they have loads of stock in of our missing product.
I don't mind mistakes but to not have the decency to call or respond to our emails is a disgrace. Avoid!!!!!

Appaling Customer Service

We ordered our Silver Cross Surf Eton Grey Limited Edition pram back in May at the Baby Show (NEC), It was due to be delivered at the end of September.... To this day it has NOT arrived.

I called Kiddisave the week it was due to find out the delivery details as nobody had contacted me to arrange this, i was then told that there was a delay of upto a week on this.

4 Days later i called back to then be told my week long delay had increased to a 4 week delay as Silver Cross cannot supply the products quick enough. They did however have the car seat in stock and advised that this would be delivered on Thursday 8th October. The lady informed me that i would be receiving a text message to inform me of the delivery time....... This never came. I called the store to then be told that the car seat never was coming i had been misinformed. I popped out at 16:45 to fetch the wife from work & at 17:00 i received a text advising me i had missed my delivery FUMING.

The car seat was then re-delivered the next day

Today i emailed the store to make sure my order was still being delivered next week, The response i had basically told me they didnt know because the Silver Cross lady (Becky) was at the baby show till Monday.

I called Silver Cross direct to ask about the delay as i had seen on a previous review that another customer had done the same... Silver Cross advised me that there is plenty of stock & the store are not being strictly honest with me.... Surprise Surprise

The baby is due in a matter of weeks & all i have to show for my £850 which has been paid IN FULL is a £120 car seat.

Eagerly Awaiting The Pushchair...........

Very nearly a disaster... Recovered at the last minute by an abrupt phone call.

We ordered our as-yet-to-be-born baby boy's pram and car seat system from Kiddisave. As at Monday 28th September we are still waiting for the base chassis of our 'Quinny Moodd' system. Kiddisave took our order at the Baby Show (Birmingham NEC) back in May this year.

It was only after my wife rang in a week ago and went ballistic at them that part of our order was pushed through.

*A kind and reasonable request to the directors of Kiddisave. Please, please, keep your customers informed and if you are unable to supply the goods, don't take the orders. I have seen the sheer weight of 1 star reviews on here and your company will not be first choice for other parents-to-be if this carries on.*

The trend continues...they are still poor

Ordered pushchair, website states '10 in stock - 48 hr delivery'

2 days later no confirmation of despatch
email to get an update and get a reply from Emma- 'supplier is out of stock but will have it in 7 days' i said i'm happy to wait

next day another email from Jill- a refund has been processed as supplier doesnt have in stock,

query two sets of stories - no explanation

thank god i got my refund and dont have to deal with this SHAM of a shop.

This is supposed to be a good experience and these guys turn it into a CHORE.

AVOID AT ALL COST - DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE PRICE, They hardly have any of the items in stock.

Very bad service

Ordered my silvercross pram, car seat, changing bag and liner from in store. I was told by the lady that it would all be in stock within 6 weeks maximum. However 6 weeks came and still hadn't heard anything from the company. I tried to phone many times but every time I phoned nobody ever picked up the phone and was always waiting at least 30minutes for anyone to pick up. Every time I phoned up I was told someone would phone me back and nobody ever did. So I went in to store, all the lady had to say was that she forgot to phone me back. Which was not good enough. I was then told that my order hadn't been processed for the next delivery and that my order form had been left on the desk. So I was then told my order would be in the following week and someone would phone me. At this point I was only just over a week till I was due so was desperately waiting for my car seat. However the lady tried to fob me off and said well if your car seat isn't on delivery we can give you someone else off the delivery even if it's the wrong colour as to what I ordered. Then I said I didn't want a different colour as that's why I ordered a specific colour. The lady was then very rude and started to go on about how she wishes the car seats wasn't made in all different colours and would be easier if they only did black. I also asked when my pram was eventually going to arrive. Then the lady had the cheek to say that well you don't use the pram straight away anyway. I thought well how does she know if I'm going to use the pram straight away or not!! Anyway the following week came on the Tuesday, the day I was promised someone would phone me, nobody did, I ended up having to phone them which took me 45mins to get through again to be told that someone would phone me back as they couldn't find my order form. So after 30mins someone phoned me back to say they couldn't find it and that what was the name it's ordered under. So again they said someone would phone me back. So after another 30mins someone phoned me back and none of my order had been delivered. So I ended up cancelling. I just feel the whole service I received was not good enough and will not be using this company again and would also advise anyone not to use it either as after speaking to many others they seem to have had similar problems!!!

The Worst Company I've Dealt With!

We ordered our pram 15/5/15 due for delivery end of July. We rang but they don't answer the phone. Eventually a message answers saying that due to number of calls we are on hold! Every time! After 10 minutes or more Tracy, picks up. We explain, she puts us on hold then returns to say that Silver Cross are behind with their orders and we won't receive our pram until 27/8/15. I explain that our baby us due now. I rang Silver Cross who said that they had stock. I called Kiddisave again and demanded to speak to someone in charge, I spoke with Becky. I told Becky that Silver Cross have stock and I wanted her to go and talk to her manager then call me back with best delivery. She only brought it forward a week. I called Silver Cross again and told them that Kiddisave were blaming them for being behind on their orders. A wonderful man at Silver Cross arranged delivery of our pram, which we had paid girl in full in May. Hoorah! I would NOT recommend this company as they have no business acumen or customer decency at all.

Pleased customer!

I was very hesitant to order from Kiddisave, only due to some of the bad reviews which I read online. I did find some good reviews however, and decided that the good deal which Kiddisave were offering was worth the risk! I placed the order, received the automated order emails, but did not receive a despatch email the next day (as was promised on the Kiddisave automated email) which I was expecting to. However, I did receive an email/text from a courier company advising me that my 'parcel' would be delivered the next day. I wasn't advised what was in the parcel, so I presumed/hoped that it would be the item which I ordered from Kiddisave. I was relieved this morning to receive the parcel this morning which was in fact the Kiddisave order. I am very pleased with the item which is exactly as described, and was despatched very quickly( received item less than 48hrs after order placed) I would not hesitate in future to order from Kiddisave. The only thing I would have liked is a despatch email, which would have put my mind at rest, but it's no big deal really. Thanks Kiddisave!

Appalling company. Horrendous customer service

Ordered furniture suite on the 29 June 2015 ( offer). Payment was made ( consideration). Delivery 2-4 weeks. Heard nothing for nearly 4 weeks. Called on Thursday 23 July 2015. Told my a member of staff she had called mamas and papas and the furniture was to be delivered on Monday 27 July 2015 ( acceptance). Monday came and went. No delivery. Left it til Wednesday 29 July 2015. Spoke to Diane. Told furniture is discontinued and it was never available at the time of my order. Nothing they could do apparently. Spoke to approximately 4 different staff that day waiting up to 48 minutes at a time for the call to be answered. Offered refund or a discount on another set. The set was a good deal £369 was £749 so I knew I would get the deal anywhere else. Chose a different set tutti bambini at £599 (rrp £999) told my Diane most they could offer is 5% ( equivalent to £11) wasn't happy with that considering I'd probably paid that in calls. Had to wait another day for her to speak to her manager. Promised a call back from her manager Becky. Next day. No call. Waits til 3pm and eventually chases Becky. Met with appalling customer service as management. Most she can do is 10%. Again considering the difference was £170 I didn't want to pay a penny. Kiddie save admitted to the fault being there's and I was still without furniture 5 weeks later. Told that she would call tutti bambini to see what cost price but would have to wait until Monday. Monday come and went again promised a call back no call from Becky. Chased the matter late Monday to he told the manager Hans would call me after he has spoken to supplier. I told Colette how important the call was and she said he would definitely call after speaking with his supplier. Hans waited until 5.10pm to hide behind an email and did not call me. At this time I could not call them as their offices close at 5pm. Bad service again! Replied to email pointing out my disappointment and that I would be calling first thing Tuesday. Called to be spoken to my Becky again. Told me if I'm not happy just accept refund. Terrible service as per usual from her. Specifically stated in my email I do not want a refund. Even offered a compromise of paying the £170 as a temporary measure to ensure I am not delayed any further and the money be held in a separate account pending an outcome from trading standards. Despite my email they processed a Refund ( Adam did) next day ( Wednesday 5 August) speak with Adam. Who informs me he hasn't even been bothered to read my email and since he is the digital marketing manager he doesn't need customer service skills. Again terrible! Finally speaks with Julie who is the first person to have any customer service skills. Searches the warhorse and somehow there is one set of the mamas and papas that is suppose to be discontinued. I ask if it's damaged. To which the answer is no. Arrived to day. Box already damaged and as soo as I look through the whole in the box I can see the wood has been smashed showing about an inch of chip board. Calls again. Julie not in so deals with Becky. Calls me a liar that the packages was checked therefore there is no damage. She puts the phone down on me. Calls again gets Colette who is been told what to say by Becky in the background ( I can hear her) she informs me I'm the worst customer she's ever dealt with. Shocking shocking shocking. Never ever would I order or recommend this company to anyone! Taking the complaint to trading standards and financial ombudsman.

No delivery, no-one answers phone

First order from Kiddisave and not too happy. Ordered changing table as, despite being a little more expensive, was fastest delivery. Should have been 48 hour delivery but no delivery received, not received dispatch info to indicate it's been sent. Spent an hour on hold to the phone line but no answer. Sent a cancellation email now, fingers crossed that will happen.
