Very good experience so far. But showers water pressure is bit slow.

The gym looks nice, but I think a lot of the machines need attention. The free weights area is a complete mess, with no organisation. At peak times it’s almost impossible to get a bench or a machine to use. Perhaps a limit on how many members they have needs to be looked at

It’s small gym and too congested also there isn’t enough equipment. So I believe it’s not worth it.

Hi the Gym is great but some machines are not working 😕 like assult assassin and the push ups . I reported but still no working

The range of equipment was far superior to other gyms, multiple squat racks which is rare plus a punching bag. Another plus is the CrossFit area. The gym caters for all training needs. Overall good layout and a worthy gym to have a membership with

Good range and size but not as clean as other gyms in the area and machines poorly maintained. A lot of the padding on certain machines is worn away making them painful to use in comparison to other gyms.

The gym itself is quite busy. Reason for 5 stars are the classes. Spin class is fantastic, only made better by Stephen's interest and enthusiasm, and Body Pump and Body Combat with Jean are so so motivating. She has a great way to make them feel fun and make you feel powerful :)

Need more staff on gym floor. There is never any blue roll to clean equipment with.

Staff are super helpful and friendly atmosphere 👍Used sauna and showers last night ,very clean and to high standard,best I've experienced in any gym.

Sign up experience was easy enough, gym itself was tacky, equipment was a mess and not maintained well nor tidied up. Clips for using bars are nowhere to be found and when you find one, its nearly enough broken or bent out of place. Weight plates are scarely available amd no neutal placement position is seen. Entry system is secure enough. Lockers and changing room is large enough, one I tried had a sauna as well, good rest for after a workout before a shower.

I’m hoping that the app will be updated when theres cancelation in one of the classes or better yet someone can always take over if instructor is not in. I like that theres plenty of equipment that can be used.

Went here last night for only my second time. It was so busy that you couldn't even get a treadmill or cross trainer machine. The changing rooms are so small.

While I was working out a huge fight broke out between guys who were just throwing themselves about the gym and ended up spilling into the street and the police were called. The staff looked scared and so were a lot of the people in the gym. I hope all involved got banned as they all fought in the street. Get rid of the posers and finally ban them or I will be cancelling my membership.

Initially joined JD gyms in the gorbals due to convenience as i work across the road. The first month for £10 was a nice incentive to get started! Upon using the gym for the first time i was not impressed. I specifically avoid using the gym at peak time so i went after 8pm still to find the gym absolutely packed to the point where i was unable to use the equipment i needed. always big gangs of men all standing at equipment for ages not even using them… i counted 6 different machines out of order and the majority of the machines that were in order were worn, Rips in the cushions, rubber parts all worn down etc and the free weights were just lying absolutely everywhere and the ones that were on the rack weren’t together, in order etc so wasted a lot of time trying to find 2 of the same weight… Then theres the changing rooms the sauna was nice but the changing facilities are far far too small for the sheer amount of people using this gym and the toilets are horrendous! Blocked and unable to use due to being full of toilet roll and also all over the floor! The showers were pretty rubbish as well, not nearly warm or powerful enough. Probably wont be renewing for another month.

Really small space, cheap equipment, a/c didn't work, just absolute chaos no matter what time of day or night you went, literally cant get anywhere near any kit. Full of kids takings pics and vids for their insta. Not my vibe, and absolutely not worth the money.

I like the gym overall, I have just moved from Glasgow north to Glasgow south. However, I much preferred Glasgow north. The south gyms cable weight stacks don’t have values on them so you don’t know what you are lifting and many of the attachments were old and tatty. I also found it to be quite warm in the weights area compared to other gyms I go to. But overall I like training at the gym.

Customer service is horrendous, when setting up my membership i mistyped my email and therefore did not receive confirmation. I set up another membership with the correct email this time. Easy enough to cancel the mistyped one you’d think …. WRONG !! Can’t anyone read a simple instructions ,.. standard email response sent from customer service every time ! Cancel and refund mistyped email membership and leave other one running, is it that difficult ?? Can’t speak to anyone by phone and only email correspondence as I was given customer service email address by gym manager. SORT THIS OUT PLEASE !!!
