Flowers not delivered as requested
On 5th May I put an order in for flowers to be delivered on Friday 15th May on behalf of my 94 year old Mother in law. Her son and his wife were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. She really wanted to attend the celebration, but the travelling 7 hours would have been to hard for her so she asked me to send a special bouquet of flowers on her behalf. This bouquet came to $134 including delivery which is a heck of a lot of money for someone on NZ Superannuation. I placed the order with Interflora specifically requesting Friday 15th delivery which was the date they were married. I spoke with my sister in law at 4.45pm on Friday 15th and was told they had not received the flowers yet. After talking with her I phoned Interflora. The message on their phone told me I had reached them out of hours and they would reopen on Monday. I left a voice message. It is now Sunday 17th and still no flowers have been delivered. I am extremely disappointed and angry that the delivery did not take place on the day requested.

If i order a white shirt online I wouldn't expect to get a bright red. Our flowers ordered via a florist with a code number were nothing like what was delivered. I contacted Interflora in Christchurch and was greeted abruptly with no care whats so ever. I feel sorry for the florist we ordered through.
